"Interesting, Interesting..."

In the bedroom of Cid Kageno, he could be seen lying on the bed, with a book in hand, and one of the Pleiades Maids standing by his bedside, specifically Narberal Gamma. There was silence between the two; the young boy just simply read while the maid just stood by and was ready to serve whenever needed.

'Usually reading a book on how to act like a proper ruler and king would be somewhat embarrassing, especially when someone is watching me do it.'

As Cid casually flipped the pages of his book, reading everything in it with great interest and desire to learn, he would once in a while take peeking glances at Gamma.

'But since I'm still technically a child in their eyes and still have much to learn, despite already knowing a lot, I can get away with being clueless and somewhat stupid at certain things.'

Cid sighs and continues to read the book.

'Of course they still expect great things from me, so I shouldn't get careless either way, but at least I still have time to learn and improve myself until the real show begins.'

As Cid read the book, hoping to prepare for the future, which he was very excited about, while accepting tea and cookies from his maid, they were both interrupted by the sound of a window opening. They looked up and saw none other than the First through Third Floor Guardian herself, Shalltear Bloodfallen.

"I've found a new base of bandits to slaughter~"

Shaltear looked hopeful and excited at the chance to spend more time with her Lord, who simply shrugged and closed his book.

"Gamma, please return this book and bring me back something that involves politics and hidden organizations."

Cid then sits up in his bed and hands the book to Gamma, who takes it and then bows once she has received his order.

"As you wish, my Lord."

Naruto then began to walk off after being told what to do; after she left, Kagero decided to go full on "Lord Shadow" mode, summoning his special slime and transforming into his persona that he loved to be greatly.

"Where is Albedo?"

Once Shadow was fully in his suit and persona, he looked back at Bloodfallen and seemed very ready to play; though he did express slight confusion once he realized someone was missing.

"Unfortunately she could not make it today, as she and Demiurge have a lot to discuss for your future."

Shaltear quickly explained and answered his confusion, which did cause him to hum and rub his chin as he thought over his future.

'My future huh? Well, being their heir, if only by mistake, I'm sure they're probably thinking about making me worthy enough to claim the throne of Nazarick, I mean, fair enough, I definitely wouldn't want a weak stupid human to take over a tomb filled with strong monsters and mountains of treasure.'

Cid didn't seem to be offended by the idea, in fact, he welcomed any help and challenges that would make him a true and powerful "Eminence In Shadow," which always made him smile and his eyes glow in excitement and anticipation.

"Then we shall bring Zeta, call her over and prepare a slime suit for her."

When Shadow gave his order, the Floor Guardian's expression turned from one of disappointment to a pout, clearly wishing for some personal time with him; however, she did not refuse and obeyed his command without hesitation.

"It shall be done my Lord."

Shalltear gave a quick bow before using her [Message] spell to make contact with the person that was suggested by her Lord, who simply watched and waited, though also used this chance to be in deep thought about something.

'I wonder if her silk could be used as wires?...'

A few hours later, deep within a nearby forest, a large yet hidden camp base could be seen, or, well, what was left of it. The entire camp appeared to have been destroyed; anything valuable had been stolen, and the people who were in the camp were currently tied up and sitting before none other than Shadow, Shalltear, and Entoma Vasilissa Zeta, though she goes by Zeta when in her "Shadow Broker" mode.

"-PLEASE, I-IF YOU LET US GO, WE PROMISE TO NEVER BE BANDITS AGAIN, W-WE BEG OF YOU, JUST LET US-"

"What magic trick would you like to learn today, my Lord?"

Even though the group of bandits continued to beg for mercy and forgiveness, it fell on deaf ears, as Shalltear ignored their constant pleas and only focused on Cid, who took a moment to think about the question he had been asked.

"Hmmmmm, how about that blood orb thing, that power looked pretty dope."

Shadow, since the fight had ended, had dropped his persona and was currently in his "That looks cool" mode; he also appeared to care very little for the bandits in front of him, treating them as nothing more than test dummies.

"Really? But you're not a vampire, what purpose would you need to drain their blood?"

Shalltear tilted her head slightly in slight confusion and curiosity as to why her Lord wished to learn such an ability.

"I mean, besides it being another instant KO ability, I have something in mind that I wish to try if I'm able to draw out their blood for my own uses."

Shadow explained as he was already imagining and picturing himself doing things he would be able to do if he learned that specific power.

"I see, if that is your desire, then please watch very carefully on how I do it."

Hearing his reasoning and seeing no reason to deny him, Shalltear simply walked up to one of the bandits, and in one quick motion, using her hand, more specifically her long sharp fingernails, she completely decapitated the bandit's head, letting it fall and roll on the ground; this was enough to make any normal person cry and scream in extreme fear and horror.

'Ah, so that's how it's done.'

Unfortunately, Cid wasn't like most people; as soon as he saw how Bloodfallen managed to drain the corpse completely dry of blood and gain full control over it, he himself decided to do the same. He walked up to one of the fearful and screaming bandits, and in one quick motion, also cut off their head with his hand. After doing this, he closed his eyes and concentrated, letting his magic mix with the victim's blood that he had touched. This took him a moment longer than what the True Vampire did, but after a bit, he did it. He was able to drain the victim's blood and create an orb of liquid that floated above him. Even more impressive, he changed the color of the blood to match his own style. This definitely made Kageno happy and cause him to smile widely for what he was able to accomplish.

"Well done my Lord, I can't actually believe you managed to learn that, and so quickly no doubt~"

Shaltear also seemed to be very pleased with what her Lord had just accomplished, gently clapping her hands and showing her approval and how proud she was.

"I mean, from what I can see, all you did was infuse your mana in the blood and make it your own, it's really no different from our slime suit."

Shadow then smirked as he suddenly had an idea; as he suddenly looked at one of the bandits in front, who was probably already pissing themselves in fear.

"And since it is so similar~"

Shadow then shoved his hand into the chest of the bandit; they didn't even process what just happened, as in an instant, their own blood turned on them and shot out of their body in a bunch of bloody spikes, making the person look like some kind of gory porcupine.

"I'm at awe my Lord, not only did you learn my ability, but managed to improve it as well, you're impressive as always~"

Shaltear was very clearly enjoying the sight of her Lord not only becoming more powerful before her eyes, but also showing such cruelty and brutality towards his enemy; it was enough to make her shiver and blush in pleasure, even causing her undergarments to experience yet another "Wet Tragedy".

"I'm sure you could've done the same if you tried, with your own blood I'm sure of it~"

Shadow couldn't help but feel pride in himself, plus have his own ego be praised and inflated by her words; though he then went on to wear a thoughtful face as he pulled his hand out of the bandit's chest and looked at his own palm with a solemn expression.

"Hm, actually, if I mix my healing magic and blood control, I could probably do a lot more than what I'm thinking of now."

However, before Shadow could run any experiments with this idea, he, as well as the Floor Guardian, both heard and saw one of the remaining bandits trying to crawl away, hoping to escape from these monstrous people and find safety.

"Zeta, would you mind cleaning up the mess? I wanna focus on this with Shalltear before I go back home."

Shadow simply ignored them as he and Shalltear began to walk away, most likely to train and practice with each other, in hopes of finding new creative ways to use their blood magic. The bandit tried to crawl away faster after hearing this, but was immediately stopped when one of them reached out and grabbed a leg.

"You would make a nice gift for Solution."

The Bandit quickly looked up and wore a very horrified expression, for the last thing they would ever see was Entoma Vasilissa Zeta looking down at them with drool coming down from beneath her fake masked face and making very hungry sounds and growls.

"But I hope she won't mind me having a arm or two~"

Due to Cid/Lord Shadow not being from YGGDRASIL, he can't use their magic, HOWEVER! Due to his insane mastery of his own magic, he is able to mimic it and do something similar, technically not the same spell, but does have the same effect and works the same way.

(BTW, I will somewhat ignore the whole "In Game Rules" thing, what I mean is that certain things like "Ainz can't use a sword" or "Characters can't learn new skills or abilities", of course I might keep a few things the same if it makes sense, but I will most likely ignore if it sounds stupid and pointless to me)

/Shalltear Bloodfallen Role\

Both her and Albedo, plus Entoma, share the same role as being Lord Shadow's special group, who would hunt down bandits to get more money, or whenever something big happens that Shadow can't ignore, but besides that, Shalltear is also his teacher when it comes to magic and abilities, of course she isn't the only one who is teaching him, but she is the main one due to her being LV 100, if he wants to become the strongest he must learn from one of the strongest.

(The downside would be her sexual advances towards him, which annoys him a lot, but it also taught him some seductive techniques, he doesn't know when he'll use it, if he ever will, but it is always good to know)
