"To think Lord Shadow would personally call us..."

In the open city of Midgar, where the city lights shine brightest and the moon was high in the sky, seven beautiful women in black slime suits could be seen jumping and traveling through roof top to roof top, it was clear that they were all heading somewhere specific, and the one leading the seven was a blonde elf girl, who goes by the name of Alpha.

"This must be serious, he would never request our presence unless it's super important."

The second-in-command of the leader of the Seven Shades is another elf, though with short silver-blue hair, her name being Beta and she was also curious and slightly worried about all this.

'I-I hope I look beautiful enough for him, it's been a while since I last saw him!'

The next member of the seven was another elf, though with sky-blue hair, also being a bit taller yet slimmer, and having some large breasts that looked out of place for some reason. Her name was Epsilon and she was making sure she looked proper before meeting her Lord.

"I just hope that it's something we can actually help with, I wish to be useful for our Lord..."

The next elf to speak had black-blue hair, and unlike the others, she was currently being carried instead of jumping through roof tops. Her name was Gamma, and she could only hope that she would be helpful to her master.

"Delta is just happy to see Boss again!~"

The one carrying the dark hair elf was not an elf this time, this time it was a dog girl, specifically a Therianthrope Wolf Beastkin, her name was Delta and she was just excited to see her Boss again.

"Of course that's all you can think about, Stupid Dog!..."

Another Therianthrope could be seen with the seven, though this was a Cat Beastkin, Zeta, who acted like she was better than the dog girl but was secretly happy to see her leader again.

"Maybe I... Can take this... Chance to request... For his body... For experiment of course..."

The last of the seven was another elf, though her hair was brown and slightly purple, she was somewhat smaller than the others and looked quite tired. Her name was Eta, and she just wanted an excuse to test her leader. Usually, such talk and desires got her earful of disapproving scolding from the leader of the Seven Shades. However, the blonde elf didn't seem to have heard her, or even realized what everyone else was talking about or doing. She was too distracted by seeing a certain Level 99 woman talking to the man in a black cloak.

"LORD SHADOW WATCH OUT!"

From Alpha's perspective, she thought her Lord was about to be attacked by this dangerous woman, and was about to attempt to defend the one called Shadow. However, as soon as she took her slime sword and thrust the blade at what she assumed was an enemy, the enemy effortlessly dodged the attack and gave a light chop to the blonde elf's head, which sent her crashing to the ground and broke the floor, which surprised and shocked everyone.

"Oops, sorry, you startled me."

This dangerous woman, who was actually Yumiella Dolkness, immediately regretted hitting the leader of the Seven Shades, even though she was the one to attack and startle her, she knew better than to hit someone who couldn't handle her strength.

"Alpha, it's impolite to attack my partner."

Cid Kageno, now in his different persona as Lord Shadow, walked up to his second-in-command, who was currently being helped up by the other Seven Shades, and suddenly said something to them that immediately caught their attention.

"PARTNER!?"

All seven members were wide eye shocked by this sudden reveal of new information that was given by their Lord, all now looking at Dolkness, who gave a polite noble bow.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet the Seven Shades, my name is Yumiella Dolkness, and I'm, um..."

Though as Yumiella tried to introduce herself, she couldn't help but hesitate a bit, realizing what she was about to say to them.

"And I'm the original and first member of the Shadow Garden."

But once she gained the courage to say what Yumiella needed to say, with some approving nods from Cid, she was able to tell them all who she was, once again causing the Seven Shades to gasp from such unexpected information.

"B-But I thought Lady Alpha was the first member of Shadow Garden?"

Beta, as well as the rest of the seven members, were beyond confused, and even suspicious to hear that the Miss LV 99 was actually the first member of the Shadow Garden.

"Technically yes, she was the one who started the organization."

But Shadow was able to step in and start explaining everything on behalf of his so-called partner.

"However, Miss Dolkness was my first partner, we've been fighting the Cult long before I recruited all of you."

The suspicion and confusion were somewhat alleviated when Shadow explained to them; it was clear that the trust they had was enough to believe what he had just said, in comparison to Dolkness.

"If that's the case, why is it now we're only hearing about her?"

But even with that kind of trust, Zeta, as well as the others, still didn't understand why they weren't given a heads-up or even a mention of their Lord's partner.

"B-Because, um, my original mission was to protect the Midgar Kingdom in secret?"

Yumiella once again tried to explain herself, though was somewhat failing to be conniving.

"That's right, I believed that the Cult might've had their hands over King Klaus and his lands, so I sent her away to keep an eye on things."

But with the help and support of Shadow, even her weakest excuse would sound like the absolute truth.

"However, it seems that the Cult might've suspected our interference, and exposed our plan by revealing her true powers for everyone to see."

And the more that Shadow explained, the more the Seven Shades would listen to what they had to say.

"The upside to this is that now the Cult wouldn't be able to move as freely as they like in the Kingdom."

Shadow spoke with such high confidence and slight dramatics that even the LV99 Partner almost believed him.

"But in return, it limits her own movements on certain things, as she is stuck protecting Midgar."

Once Shadow had finished speaking, the seven members were finally able to believe and accept Dolkness, now understanding who she was and such. Of course, trust was still uncertain, but it was enough not to be too hostile towards her.

'I wish I could speak as confidently as him, even while telling a lie, he says it as if he was spitting straight facts.'

Yumiella was extremely jealous of Cid, although she personally doesn't like to lie, she wishes she could have his charisma to effortlessly speak with people like that, so she plans to ask for favors in this talent later.

"Does this make her new Boss?"

Delta, being one of the few, seemed the most accepting, so much so that she was able to recognize her as her new LV 99 Boss, which was rare and even took a certain blonde elf by surprise.

"I am your main leader, as my words take priority, but if she requests help, then please give her your support and service."

Basically Shadow was telling his Seven Shades that he was the main guy calling the shots, however Dolkness shouldn't be ignored, especially if she needs help with something.

"Any questions?"

After Shadow finally explained everything, most of the Seven Shades were still uncertain about it, a few like the Wolf Beastkin and Clumsy Elf seemed to have accepted this new role change, but most were still too hesitant about it.

"... We hear and obey, my Lord..."

But at the end of the day, Alpha, as well as the rest of the seven, did not refuse their Lord. No matter what happens or what he says, everything he does is absolute and none would question his judgment... Even if they don't like it.

"Are you ok, Lady Alpha?"

Soon, after all that introduction and speaking to the Lord a little bit more, all of the Seven Shades left, most split up and went their different ways, no doubt needing to do things that require their personal attention, but someone like Beta decided to follow her leader, both because they were heading the same way and because she was a bit concerned for the blonde elf, noticing the very deep frown she was wearing on her face.

'I will not be replaced...'

Alpha couldn't help but clench her fist tightly while feeling a very ugly feeling deep within her heart. She said nothing to her second-in-command, which only made her worry more. As they left and disappeared into the night.

"... Your friends are really good actors, I almost believed that you commanded a real organization."

Meanwhile, back with Yumiella and Shadow, who were now sitting at the top of a clock tower watching the beautiful city below, were able to relax and talk to each other normally again. Dolkness, however, was clearly stressed and worried that she would mess things up with Kageno friends.

"Yup, they're the bestest friends I could ever ask for."

Cid couldn't help but smile fondly, even if there were a lot of things in the world he could care less about, the Seven Shades will always be someone he would hold close to his hearts.

"But still, is it ok for you to lie about me not only being your partner, but your first member of Shadow Garden?"

Though Yumiella still couldn't help but express concern, even if she felt accepted by them somewhat, she still didn't feel comfortable about lying to them, even if this was just all a roleplay.

"I don't like reconning my own narrative and role play story, but it just wouldn't make sense to make you start as a low level grunt with your Level 99 power, it just makes more sense to me."

Cid waves away his LV99 friend and her concerns, as if saying everything would be ok.

"Besides, with you being the same rank as me, you won't be bossed around by Alpha or the other seven girls, so you can still enjoy your peaceful life, but also have a chance to play with us if you feel like it."

Dolkness couldn't help but smile lightly when Cid explained his reasoning for doing the things he did.

"Thank you for your consideration, I really appreciate it."

Yumiella was really happy to have someone who not only treats her normally, but would take the time out of their day to do something that would make her comfortable while also respecting her desires.

"It's what best friends are for."

Cid gave a nonchalant shrug, having no problem or being bothered with doing this much for his so-called partner of the Eminence In Shadow.

"Speaking of which-"

"I know, in exchange for joining my RP group, I'll be your fake boyfriend so you won't be bothered by an admirer anymore..."

Yumiella claps her hands happily when Cid accepts her request to be her fake boyfriend, so that the male students at the academy could finally leave her alone.

"Thank you."

Yumiella gave Shadow a hug, which he grunted and gumbled in response.

"Whatever, just make sure it doesn't affect my Mob status..."

Cid wasn't entirely happy to have his Mob persona be the boyfriend of LV 99 popular girl, but he had to suck it up, as it was only fair since she would be joining and playing with him in this whole "Shadowbroker" thing.

'It so nice to have a friend like this, I can't wait to see what future holds for us now.'

As Yumiella and Cid continue to hang out and spend some time together, unbeknownst to them, a certain, "Cult", was currently having a meeting with each other, as the topic of the day seemed to be involved with a certain "Shadow Lord" and the "LV99 Dolkness", evidence by all the pictures and reports about them.

"Yumiella must be connected to the Shadow Garden, planting that magic sphere proves it..."

I think I will go with Shadow Queen idea, I just see more pros and story ideas with This one, 1: Even though I would've been fine with making Yumiella a villainess, I think realistically she would want to avoid that, 2: Cid and her could have more chance to be together, either peaceful or just training or more fun activities, 3: It would probably give more things to do for Yumiella instead of just being in the side line, 4: I just like the many ways she could interact with the Seven Shades and Numbers, like training them her way, and cause all the misunderstanding that would be fun to explore, 5: The most action to put it simply, there are other ideas and stuff to consider, I hope you guys can understand why I chose this idea.

(Shadow Queen won't actually be her real name, unless you think it's good enough to use? Actually what should Yumiella be called? Like Cid has Lord Shadow, but what about her? I'm thinking of Lady Darkness, because of her magic and her last name is Dolkness, I'm open to suggestions)

/What The Shades Think Of The LV:99 Villainess\

Alpha: Extreme jealousy and desires to prove that she's better suited to be Shadow's partner.

Beta: Also jealous, but willing to be friends with Yumiella.

Gamma: Accepting and willing to work with Yumiella.

Delta: She definitely approves of Shadow's new friend, and thinks Yumiella would make strong babies, Delta just hopes she'll make some to with Boss.

Epsilon: Might be hostile at first, but might become friends, would even help Yumiella control her magic while she can maybe help her get some real tits, hm?

Zeta: Very suspicious and thinks Yumiella might have hidden motivation.

Eta: A new test subject.

(BTW: Off topic, I'm excited to write the Yumiella dragon egg scene episode, Mama and Papa and their Son Shadows if you catch my drift, lol, but should I introduce the Dragon Egg at the end of Season 1 or 2 of Eminence In Shadow?)
