"Sooooo... Kidnapping Princesses huh? Also have any 8?"

"Shush, I didn't do it and you know it, Goldfish."

In some kind of interrogation room, where Yumiella Dolkness could be seen being held, specifically being held by multiple chains attached to very heavy metal balls, with a mix of magical damping cuffs, which seemed to do absolutely nothing as she was still able to move around effortlessly, clearly unfazed by all this, so much so that she was able to play goldfish with Cid Kageno, who managed to sneak in here, like nothing was happening.

"I mean, from what you told me, this Alexia girl seems like a pain to deal with, so I wouldn't blame you if-"

Before Cid could finish that thought, a playing card was thrown at him, which stabbed and got stuck on his forehead, by a frowning Dolkness.

"It's actually a special event that's currently happening, where a Princess is kidnapped and the Heroine needs to save her, have any 2?"

Yumiella huffs and pouts, clearly doesn't like it when she is accused of something that she didn't do.

"Ah right, I remember you mentioning that."

Cid now understood the situation they were in, as he then pulled the card out of his head, which was the number 2, then took a card from his deck that matched the number and gave it back to his LV99 friend.

"Mhm, though I don't remember who actually kidnapped her though, someone named Zinny or something? I don't know, I think they were a Bandit Lord or something."

Yumiella shrugs as she struggles to remember who actually kidnapped the 2nd Princess of Midgar, or whatever else specifically happened in the game.

"Actually, I have a favor to ask of you."

Yumiella momentarily looks away from her playing cards and looks at Kageno with a somewhat serious expression.

"Hm? What?"

Cid tilted his head, a bit curious on what his LV 99 Friend might ask of him.

"Do you think you could save Alexia for me? Or at the very least defeat the kidnapper?"

When Yumiella made her request to her Friend in Shadow, his interest couldn't help but be peaked greatly.

"Huh? Why? You said that it was a special event, so wouldn't that mean that the MC is supposed to be handling this situation?"

It wasn't like Cid couldn't do it, but from what he understood, the problem would solve itself, so there was little point in doing anything about it.

"Yeeeeeeah... But I don't like Prince Edwin, and he doesn't deserve to save Alexia with the way he was treating her."

Though when Yumiella admits her true reason for wanting to intervene and change the story of the event that was taking place, her partner in crime has become more understanding.

"Hmmmmm, I do like the idea of showing up and doing mysterious Eminence in Shadow that changes the main story..."

Dolkness perks up and looks hopeful when she sees how willing and interested Cid was becoming with her request.

"Does that mean you'll help me?"

When Yumiella asked this, Kageno responded with a simple nod.

"Eh, why not, sounds like fun, also I can't really say no to my best friend, by the way have any King's?"

Cid was fully on board with the plan, and might even be a bit motivated and eager about this whole "Rescue The Princess" event that was going on, no doubt having his own plans for this situation.

"Goldfish, also thank you, I appreciate it."

Yumiella couldn't help but let out a breath of relief, even if she knew that her friend might do something crazy, she could at least relax with the knowledge that Alexia would be safe in his care.

"No prob Bob, though do you actually know where Alexia is being held?"

Cid, who put his focus on the cards again, decided to ask some more info about the event, since he doesn't actually know where the Princess was being held at.

"If I remember correctly, she's in the underground tunnel, following the streams, you should be able to find it that way."

Yumiella, also paying close attention to her cards, was able to help out as much as she could, even if she had trouble remembering every single detail of the game she used to play in her previous life, she still knew enough of what was taking place, which was definitely helpful for her Eminence In Friend.

"I'll be sure to tell Alpha this, she's good at finding things."

After all was said and done, both Cid and Dolkness decided to spend the rest of their time together by finishing their game, both seemingly intense about it and eager to win.

"Have any Queens?"

"DANG IT! I LOST!"

But finally, the game was able to end, with Yumiella emerging victorious, her expression might be dull, but she was clearly happy and smug about winning over Cid, who fell to his sides and wore a sad, defeated expression. Though before the Victor and Loser could accept the outcome or play another game, the sounds of the door unlocking and opening caught the LV 99 Villainess's attention and made her panic slightly. She was about to warn her friend to leave, but her moment of distraction was somehow enough time for Kageno to disappear without even her noticing. Even her playing cards were taken away from her hands without her realizing it.

'Wow... Ninja Cid...'

Yumiella was beyond impressed by her friend sneaking away like a ninja, so much so that she wanted to see if she could do the same, unfortunately she wasn't given a chance when a certain First Princess of Midgar entered her confinement.

"W-What the- Why Is Miss Dolkness Chained Up?!"

The 1st Princess, also known as Iris, was beyond shocked to see Dolkness in chains and tied up like a wild animal, though shock turns into silent rage as she then glares at the guards interrogating her.

"B-But Princess Iris, she's a criminal-"

"That Has Yet To Be Proven!"

Iris signs in disappointment, though she decides that she will deal with the guards later. Quickly, she pulls out her sword and in one quick slash, manages to free the captured LV 99 prisoner.

"Please forgive me, I didn't realize they did this to you, I was only told that they were just interrogating, not this."

Iris, after putting away her sword, kneels down before the captured Villainess and offers a helping hand to her.

"It's ok, your sister was taken and I was the last one who saw her, I understand why I seemed suspicious."

Yumiella, accepting the hand, didn't seem to bother or upset; in fact, she felt sympathy and slight guilt for having her friend be taken away from her older sister, who was no doubt worried to death about this whole thing.

"Even so, it wasn't right in what they did to you."

Iris, after helping Dolkness back to her feet, made sure that nothing was harmed or anything unpleasant was done to her, giving her guards another angry glare.

'She's such a caring person, I can't imagine anyone who can hate her.'

For some reason, Yumiella couldn't help but shiver, as if something unpleasant might happen in the near future if she wasn't careful.

"Actually, why did you come down here, I thought your soldiers were in charge of my interrogation?"

Though after having those weird feelings, Yumiella just realized something, that being Midgar was here now, and she had no idea why.

"Well, currently I am getting ready to go out to go look for my Sister, and I have just decided that I should bring you along with me."

"Eh?"

Yumiella was now even more confused once she just processed what Iris just said to her.

"Not only would your LV 99 strength be of great use to us, but I also wish to clear up your name by making you help us find the Princess."

Iris, while admitting that the power of a LV 99 would be very helpful, but she also felt responsible for the way that Dolkness was treated, and wanted to take this opportunity to both apologize and find a way to fix her sister's friend's reputation.

"So would you please join us?"

Usually, the LV 99 Villainess would rather not get involved in these types of situations, since it would bring nothing but trouble for her, however, having Iris look at her with such good intentions, not to mention her own worries for Alexia, it was very difficult to refuse.

'I can't really say no either way, even though I trust Cid to find Alexia, I would be a bad friend if I don't at least try to look for her.'

Yumiella sighs in defeat, as she nods her head and accepts the request from the 1st Princess.

"Of course I'll join."

Yumiella thought she might as well go, even though she trusted Cid to handle things, she knew that it was better to be safe and prepared just in case, which made Midgar very glad to hear.

"Excellent, I'll be sure to let Prince Edwin know that you'll be coming with us."

Unfortunately, when Iris mentioned the name of a certain prince to Yumiella, any and all motivation and passion she had for this mission was ruined as she was suddenly filled with instant regret.

'I should've said no...'

I just realized that Alicia is technically as strong as Cid and Yumiella, obviously she's not there yet, but given the fact that in the game she's from and how she was able to defeat the Hidden LV 99 Boss, she has the potential power to rival our Villainess and Eminence In Shadow, I wonder if I should use that knowledge for something in the future, any suggestions?

(And speaking of this, WEIRD IDEA: What if Cid was similar to Yumiella? Being a Hidden Boss type of thing, but instead of being an enemy, Cid is actually another character that the Heroine, Alicia, needs to conquer and make him fall in love with her? A Hidden Romance option if you will)

Alicia Ehnleit: If you don't like the "Hidden Love Boss" idea, then she would probably stay the same with little to no changes.

(But if you do like my idea, then maybe Alicia could be Cid childhood friend, maybe be his maid even, I'm open to suggestions)

Edwin Valschein: He's pretty much the same, except that he is visiting the Midgar Kingdom to take royal classes and such.

(He was supposed to be married to Alexia, so that his parents and Kingdom could be in good terms with the Midgar Kingdom)

Oswald Grimsarde: I'm thinking he could be the older brother or something to Sherry.

(I'm not sure if they should be related or adopted or otherwise)

William Ares: He is currently 2nd in command and personal bodyguard to Iris Midgar, you could even say they're childhood friends.

(How close should they be?)

Eleonora Hillrose: Is unfortunately being personally manipulated by the Cult, unknown to her.

(She will soon be possessed though)

Rita: Honestly, probably will stay the same, she's no one special.

(I'm open to suggestions if you want her to do more in the story)

King and Queen Valschein: They are in friendly tied with the Midgar Kingdom, however the same could not be said for Rose's Kindgom.

(The Queen is the only person who is aware of the Cult)

Ryuu: Soon to be Dragon Son to both Yumiella and Cid.

(Would you guys be interested in Ryuu being able to transform into a human?)
