After speaking with the Emerald Sentinels, Aizawa began walking the streets of Terra Mesa. Eventually, he makes it the memorial of the Interceptors. 

Aizawa: I'm sorry.....

As Aizawa took a moment to remember his fallen comrades, Dabi walked over to Aizawa and called him out. 

Dabi: Shota Aizawa! The Erasure Sky Knight! 

When Dabi called out Aizawa, Aizawa prepared his Combat Scarves.

Aizawa: You better have a good reason for this little visit Cyclonian! I am not in the mood for any games!

Dabi: You can call me Dabi. I'm with the Shadow Collective of the Cyclonian Empire. I'm here to kill you. 

Aizawa: You picked the wrong time for your games!

Aizawa was angered by Dabi's threat. He saw Dabi's attack in the Interceptor's memorial as a disgusting and cowardly move. Dabi readied his Crystal sword. 

Dabi: Shall we?

Aizawa and Dabi soon fought one another. Dabi swings his Crystal Sword at Aizawa, but he was able to dodge the attacks.

Dabi: Do you still blame yourself for what happened to the Interceptors?! How did it feel when Repton kill your entire squadron?!

Aizawa became enraged at Dabi's insults and began wildly attacking. Dabi took advantage of that and began to overpower Aizawa. Dabi then begins beating Aizawa down.

Dabi: I expected more out of you. Looks like all the stories I heard about you were exaggerations. 

Aizawa: (Damn! I let him play me like a damn fiddle!)

Dabi: Take comfort Aizawa. I'm about to reunite you with the Interceptors!

Aizawa: (Starling....Hizashi....Oboro.....I'm sorry....)

Before the Cyclonian could finish off Aizawa, the Emerald Sentinels came to Aizawa's aid as Midoriya attacked him with his Energy Blade.

Tsuyu: That's one of the Cyclonians from the attack on the Sky Knight Academy! 

Aizawa: Get out of here! This isn't your fight!

As Dabi was surrounded by the Sky Knights, a group of Talons began rushing to his side. When Dabi saw Todoroki, he chuckles.

Dabi: Small world isn't it Shoto? 

Todoroki was caught off guard, but kept his composure as he readied his Dual Energy Spear. Midoriya soon came up with a plan. 

Midoriya: Todoroki, Iida and Tsuyu! You guys take on the Talons while Ochaco and I deal with the leader!

Midoriya soon executed his plan as he and Ochaco attacked Dabi to protect Aizawa. Dabi was able to keep up, but the Sky Knights were able to handle themselves.

Dabi: Not bad for a bunch of brats! But I think it's time to show you why the Interceptors were killed!

As the Emerald Sentinels fought Dabi and the Talons, Aizawa reflected on the words he said to them. He saw their bravery despite the odds. He was moved by this display. 

Aizawa: (These kids.....they might not be so hopeless after all....)

Aizawa summoned up the strength to get up and attack Dabi. Soon, the Talons were defeated and Dabi was cornered.

Ochaco: We got him!

Midoriya: We're taking you in Cyclonian!

Dabi: Is that so? I'm afraid you got bigger things to worry about!

Dabi pulled out a detonator and pressed it. As he did, several explosions were heard in the distance. 

Iida: What was that?!

Before the Sky Knights could interrogate Dabi, he rushed past them and escaped on a skimmer. 

Todoroki: Damn.....

Ochaco: We have to help the people!

Midoriya: We will! Aizawa! I know we're not Sky Knight material in your eyes, but let us prove you wrong!

In the Emerald Sentinels, Aizawa saw the Interceptors. The fact that they held their own against Dabi and the Talons deeply impressed him. 

Aizawa: All right Sky Knights. Let's go!

Aizawa and the Emerald Sentinels returned to the town square in Terra Mesa to see several buildings in flames. 

Midoriya: We'll have to split up! 

The group soon split into several groups. Iida went with Tsuyu, Ochaco went with Todoroki and Midoriya went with Aizawa. Iida and Tsuyu came across a burning school building and help evacuate the children inside. Ochaco and Todoroki evacuate a devastated hospital. Midoriya and Aizawa search through several homes affected by the explosions. Soon, the Sky Knights were able to get all the citizens to safety. After that, Aizawa meets the Emerald Sentinels on the Eagle. 

Aizawa: You all did good. 

Iida; We did what needed to be done! What that Cyclonian did was truly cowardly!

Midoriya: Aizawa.....did we prove ourselves to you?

Aizawa took a moment to think of a response. He took the actions of the Emerald Sentinels into account. What potential he didn't see then, Aizawa saw it now. 

Aizawa: You're a scrappy lot. You're green and lack experience. But with some proper training, I think you'll do fine. 

Hearing that boosted the confidence of the Emerald Sentinels. Aizawa lets a small smile exit his face. 

Midoriya: Thank you Aizawa! We won't let you down!

Aizawa: You'll make mistakes. You'll fall. But it's how you get up that proves just how much of a Sky Knight you are. Remember that.

The Emerald Sentinels took Aizawa's words to heart as they boarded the Eagle and left Terra Mesa. As the Eagle flew away from Terra Mesa, Aizawa felt something he hadn't in a long time: hope. 

Aizawa: Heh....looks like All Might made the right call after all. 

Aizawa then turned around to see repairs already being done to the buildings devastated by the bombings. He lets out a sigh.

Aizawa: Never a dull moment for me.....

Meanwhile, Dabi met with Shigaraki and Kurogiri on the bridge of the Reaper.

Dabi: Looks like those Sky Knight brats are gonna cause some problems. I wasn't able to kill Aizawa.

Shigaraki: Aizawa will be dealt with in due time. As for those Sky Knights, they'll fall and All Might will follow. 

Shigaraki would continue his plan to kill All Might. Despite the failures, he would keep going until All Might was dead.
