🍃Chapter 5🍃
Two Days Later. . .
Dream didn't understand how much his mistake could have backfired, that is until he finally had karma come to him in full swing. Now, he was banned from entering L'manburg and his kingdom was involved with a war it shouldn't have to fight. Now, on the way to his last resort, he didn't know how he was going to explain his situation to the other. Trudging through the snow he didn't know what he was going to say to the other, how he was going to explain his desperate need for the other to join his side. Finally, he made it to the cabin the blood god resigned in, sighing in the satisfaction that he finally made it. Walking up the stairs he quickly nodded, hoping to get into the warm and cozy-looking house. "Who is it?" He heard a voice yell out.
"It's me, Dream." He says, relief filling him that the other was home. He would hate to have to stand out in the cold waiting for the other to come back home. It was silent on the other side though, making Dream raise a brow. The door finally opened, Dream being met with an angry-looking Technoblade.
"You have some nerve showing up here, Dream." The hooded man's smile faltered at the other's words.
"What? What do you mean, Techno?" The other came outside, slamming the door as he did so. Dream flinched, hand on the hilt of his sword and ready to draw it if the other chose violence.
"I should kill you, Dream." He spits. "If I were you, I'd leave before I tear you apart where you stand."
"Technoblade, listen I need you to help me-" Dream was pushed down the stairs, himself gasping out of surprise as he tried to catch himself. It didn't work. Dream fell down the stairs, tumbling and bruising his body up in the process. When he finally reached the end, he groaned, looking up at the pissed-off Technoblade.
"I know what you did, Dream." The masked man froze, looking at the other in the eyes.
"What?" He whispers.
"I know what you did to Tommy, and I will never side with you again you bastard." Dream's eyes widened in realization.
"How, how do you know?" Technoblade grabbed his axe from his back, making his way down the stairs after the admin's question.
"Do you think I enjoyed finding my little brother, bleeding out in a blown-up shit hole, Dream?" The other shook in anger. "Well? You've suddenly gotten very quiet, Dream." He pointed his blade at the hooded male, who now was scrambling to stand.
"Stop, Technoblade." He saw the other grit his teeth as his command, himself raising his ax up to take a good hit at the other. Before he could bury his ax's blade into the other Dream moved out of the way, scrambling to his feet and yanking his own blade out of its sheath on his waist. His netherite sword would be child's play against Techno's ax, but he would fight the other if it meant not losing a life to the other. "I said stop!" He yelled, desperate to get the other to yield. Techno only snorted a laugh, glaring at the other.
"Then leave. I don't care if you need my help, no amount of riches you give me will persuade me to change my mind." He hisses at Dream. The smaller took his chance, running away like a coward. Now, he knew he was really in for it this time. He had played his cards wrong, and he was paying for it. As he ran, sheathing his sword on the way, reality set in.
"Shit." He whispered to himself, yanking his mask off in the process. He was stuck, and he knew that now. Squeezing his eyes shut, he had to think of another way to put the war in his favor. Then, it hit him. He bit his bottom lip in thought, looking ahead as he thought. "Wilbur Soot." He said to himself, smiling as he let out a shaky breath. "It seems your my last resort, my friend."

Tubbo stared out over his nation, unsure he made the right decision. Philza sat next to the other, teacup in hand as he took in the information the other had given him. "I don't know what to do, Phil." The blond himself was stuck. He resented the man in front of him as much as he did the admin, but knowing they would go to war together, he couldn't handle it.
"I don't know either, Tubbo." He says quietly from his seat in the president's office.
"Was it a bad decision? Or is this fair?" Philza himself didn't know. He hated wars now, in his youth he would have lived for them, been at the front lines even. But now, he was a father, one who was grieving, even crippled due to his damaged wing. He wasn't the same man, the same man that took his children on adventures, the man who created outstanding structures, or even the one who fought in many wars before he even became a father.
"I am not the one to answer these questions, Tubbo." He said, setting the teacup down. The goat hybrid looked at the other, green eyes unsure.
"I'm sorry about Tommy, by the way." Tubbo's voice was quiet as he spoke as if he was trying to stop himself from choking up. It angered the father to think that the male before him felt remorse like he cared about the other. Tubbo threw the other out, and from what he heard not just throw him out, flat out beat the other to the ground with fuming words.
"Thank you." He says, getting up from his seat as he spoke. He didn't want to stay in the same room as the other, afraid he would do something he may regret. "I'll take my leave now, Tubbo." The goat hybrid gave a nod of understanding before turning back to the window, seeming to lose himself once again as he stares out over the horrid country Philza wished would just blow up already. Balling his fists he turned around, leaving the office quickly. He couldn't stay here anymore, too many bad memories lay in L'maburg. He had lost two sons to this shit hole, he was ready to leave, hell maybe even blow it up. He smiled at the thought of leaving, living out his days with his last remaining son in a cabin in the snowy biome the other was residing in.
His fists softened at the thought. He failed two sons, he refused to fail another. He would move to Techno's cabin and protect the other, leave this horrid place behind and focus on his remaining son. He paused though, thinking about his grandson suddenly. He was still young, barely an adult as it was. Could he take the other with him as well? As if on cue, said grandson passed by, smiling brightly and talking to Quackity excitedly. Phil sighed, turning away and heading to the exit. No, he would be fine here, he had friends here, his whole life was here. It was foolish of him to think the other would even consider leaving this country. He already made his mind up though, he would leave and live with Technoblade. Maybe, he could even bring the other to agree with him on blowing L'maburg up in the process.
