🍃Chapter 11🍃

Wilbur sat at his desk, quill in hand and paper ready to have words scribbled onto it. But Wilbur couldn't think, not about a plan that could take L'manburg down once and for all at least. He was stuck on the fact that his twin brother, Technoblade, wouldn't help Dream take down L'maburg. The place that had led their little brother to suicide. Was his other half that heartless? Did he really not care about Tommy that much? The grip he held on the quill tightened as he thought.

He wanted to kill Techno, or at least try to convince the other to join Dream in destroying L'manburg. He'd convince the other to help, once he figured out how to contact the other. A knock on his door made him flinch, his head turning towards the door that was now squeaking open. "Wilbur?" It was Dream, the masked man holding a plate of food.

"Hello." Wilbur greeted, turning to face the other. The hooded man walked further into the room, setting the plate of food down onto his desk.

"How're the plans coming along?" Wilbur paused, looking back towards the blank piece of paper.

"Still a work in progress, but  I'm sure something will come to me soon." The admin hummed, making his way back towards the door.

"Good." Wilbur watched the door close behind the other male before he turned back towards the paper, still unsure what to write. But he couldn't disappoint Dream, he wanted to help the other in destroying L'manburg. He just had to figure out a good game plan, and he would.

One Day Later. . .

Tommy trudged through the snow in front of their house, his ears perked and waiting to hear animals. He needed practice with his bow, and that's what he was doing. Technoblade was inside, and Phil was off building his cabin. Tommy could hear the bird hybrid in the distance, but chose to ignore the old man for now. He still didn't know how to react to the fact that Philza was now, in a way, living with him and Technoblade.

Finally, he heard an animal, a sheep softly ba-ing as it trotted into the open area Tommy stood in. The raccoon pulled an arrow out of his quiver, and loaded his bow. He had to listen though, knowing both he couldn't see where the animal was, and that if he missed the sheep would go running.

"TOMMY WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Tommy accidentally let the arrow fly, the sheep now speeding away because of Phil's outburst. Tommy spun around towards the other, tail swishing from side to side as his grip on the bow tightened. He heard rushed footsteps from the cabin, meaning Technoblade heard the commotion and was coming out to make sure everything was ok.

"Tommy?" The raccoon turned towards the pinkette, who was already making his way towards the other. His voice was questioning, meaning his face probably held the same emotion.

"I'm just practicing my archery." he spits, ears flattening against his skull as he speaks.

"He shouldn't be doing things like that unless he's being supervised, he has a weapon!" Philza said, coming up next to Tommy. Tommy hissed, moving away from the other and towards Technoblade.

"Dad, Tommy needs to learn how to use weapons without needing assistance eventually, honestly I'm proud that he can even use a bow." A hand landed on Tommy's head, affectionately ruffling his hair. The raccoon smiled, leaning into the touch.

"I-" Tommy cut the father off before he could finish his sentence.

"Don't act like you have any say in what happens to me, Phil. We haven't seen each other in years. You don't get to just show up and act like you're my father again." He heard the man's wings flutter, meaning he was either mad or sad about his words, and either way the raccoon didn't care. It was a long time before anyone said anything, but eventually the pinkette interrupted the stillness.

"Tommy, we're going to go and start our plans." The blond nodded, grabbing ahold of the older brother's cloak as he started walking away. He held on as they made their way to their cabin, probably to grab weapons and maybe even potions.

"What exactly are we doing?"

"We're gonna go to L'manburg, look around, maybe start forming a good idea for a plan." Tommy nodded, the grip he had on the older brother's cloak growing tighter.

"Sounds good to me." Tommy says.

"We can take the sewer systems to try and stay out of sight, plus we'll be saving invisibility pots if we do that." Seemed like a good plan.

Ghostbur blinked his eyes open, blue hues looking around the sewer system he currently was laying in. This area seemed familiar, but he still didn't understand why he was here. Wasn't he in his house before he- Dream. He paused, remembering the green hooded man coming to his house, trying to kill him for some reason. He still didn't understand why the admin was so persistent in killing him, even after he had made it out of his small house.

Now, he sat in a sewer system, eyes blurry and breathing slow- wait, breathing? He never could breathe, he was a ghost. A fragment of a mad man that once walked the earth, doomed to be known as 'Wilbur Soot' even though he was nothing like that man.

Slowly he pushed himself up into a sitting position, his blue eyes finally focusing as he lifted his peachy-colored hands up. His skin usually was a dead-looking white, now looked as if it was pumping with life. He felt the chilly air of the sewer, where he usually would feel nothing at all. The world around him usually was numb to his skin, no matter what the weather was, or if he was being attacked. Now, he could feel things too? None of this made any sense to the male, his hands now shaking as he tried to make sense of what was happening.

Maybe he was dreaming, it was all a dream and he'd wake up in his little house once again. He'd be making potions again, writing books again, maybe even go up and talk to some of his friends. "If we take this tunnel all the way down, we should make it to town square." It was a familiar voice, one he hadn't heard in a long time.

He looked up as the figures got closer, one taller than the other. The taller one held a torch, whilst the smaller seemed to be holding onto the other as they walked. Ghostbur realized who they were, Technoblade and Tommy. But wasn't Tommy dead? He thought that Tubbo told him Tommy was dead, never to be seen again. How come he was now walking towards him, not as a ghost but as a human. "Wait- Ghostbur?"  Ghostbur slowly stood up, confused why he didn't start floating. "Ghostbur... wait." Soon the two face one another. "What happened to you? Why do you look like you're... Alive?"
