Katie part seven

Katie's P.O.V.

"Will! It's been so long! Oh, how are you?" Will's mother tells him with a question at the end. I can't help but feel like she's being fake and hammy with the friendly chatter but at least she's better than my mother... I hate my mother. "Well.. would you like some tea? Coffee?" I ask trying to strike up some conversation. "Coffee, if it's not too much trouble." Is her answer as she sits down on the lounge chair. I can't help but notice Will hasn't even answered but who cares? "Ahh, Jessica. How have you been? Learned anything at school?" She reaches out at Jessica for a hug and to which Jessica hugs back. "It's been okay, we learned about leaf rubbing!" Well at least she told her grandmother something. Usually she has difficulty telling her about school. No bullies but because she keeps saying she never learns anything there. "Will?" I call his name to which he darts his glance to me. "Can you make some coffee for her?" Will immediately gets up and makes starts to make the coffee, the way she usually has it. As Jessica explains leaf rubbing to her, I go on my phone checking on social media.

Just as I log into Twitter, Will comes over and gives his mother the tea. "Thank you, Will." Is her response. "Thank you." Will says in return. Whenever someone thanks him, he thanks them in return... It's really annoying. Suddenly, Will gets a phone call and everyone obviously hears the phone's ringing. Will picked up his phone and looked at the screen, his eyes widening with a worried expression. "You can answer it, just talk outside." His mother tells him but he sighs. "No, no. You're here and family comes first." He ignores the call and puts it back in his pocket but it starts ringing again. Now he looks even more troubled to my delight. I guess he does have something to hide after all. "I'm sorry, I need to take this call." Will quickly got up and ran outside the front door to talk to whoever is on the phone. "Oh! I should probably check the mail. Just in case I got anything I should know about." I say before walking to where Will was and eavesdropping on the conversation.

Ulia's P.O.V.

"I'm telling you, Ulia, I actually met him! I'm not making this up!" Sebastian says to me over the phone... Loudly. "I don't see what the big deal is. He's just some child entertainer on the internet." "But it was just so exhilarating!" "Sebastian, keep your pants on. It's like you're gonna sneak into his house and do something non-consenting." I sass but oddly enough, I hear a few seconds of silence over the phone between me and Sebastian. "Yeah, real funny, Ulia." A nervous chuckle was heard at the end of his sentence. "Honestly, you've never been this excited over anything. You're usually so calm." Actually I hope we get the calmer Sebastian back because this is just out of place. "Sebastian, I'd like you to come over because me and the girls are gonna be hanging out. It's not a typical friend's night, you'll love it." "Then tell me, unless it's one of your surprises?" The blonde asks. "I'm afraid so but trust me, the surprise is worth waiting for." And that's when I hang up, not caring enough to say goodbye. I've told Grace to call Will but he's probably busy right now. 'Sorry, Katie says no' he'd say. Pain in the ass brit.

Will's P.O.V.

"I can't talk right now, Nate. Now's not the time." As much as I hate to let people down, family comes first. "But we just haven't talked in such a long time. When would it be a good time to catch up?" He says it in such a charming way... Sometimes the charm seems something sketchy like a sociop- "Oh, and I'm thinking of getting Denis and Charlie to come along if we ever head out for a get together. Haven't talked to them since either." I actually feel a bit guilty not talking to Nate for so long. I wanna catch up, but now's not the time. "Well, I don't know when but I'll call you when I'm on a free day and I'll check if you can come on that day too along with Denis and Charlie. Does that sound good?" "Yes, it does. I need to go too. There's some business I need to attend to." Nate tells me before hanging up. A sigh is taken before I place the phone back into the depths of my pocket as I walk out the room, greeted to Katie at the side. Whenever I had a call she knew about, she'd either stand by or eavesdrop, but I've really grown used to it. It's nothing worth fighting anymore.

Charlie's P.O.V.

Ding! That's a sound just recently sneaking into my ears. And so I take the phone out from the prison of my pocket and turn on the screen to see a message from Nate. I thought I erased him from my phone... Denis and I promised to eachother we'd never talk to him again! But knowing he just texted is driving me looney, I'm feeling incredibly tempted by knowing he told me even a single word. My fingers slightly trembled at the temptation and curiosity, so I give in thinking it wouldn't be such a big deal. Denis would've given in too, right? My finger tapped the screen, taking me to my texts and there lay out some words of which would fill my hunger of curiosity.
