Katie part five
My P.O.V.
"Bethany, can't you just use an alarm clock? You need to stop staying up at night reading smutty DAGames fanfiction." Gigi tells me, and she's right about that. I still won't stop though. "Well yes- but- well... You have a point." I stutter all over the place knowing I should be careful of when to hit the hay. "Speaking of Will..." Maxie speaks up, "I was watching his old videos and he seemed so chill... Especially in the ones when he was a teenager. It's a bit weird." "Yeah, but people change over time. Gotta admit, he's pretty entertaining." I chuckle at things he's said during his time of acting so wacky... Except for parts when he takes dark humor too far. Widening my eyes seeing someone in the distance walking to us, it's our CG5 loving friend, Liz! She looks up from her phone, then puts it in her pocket before running to us in a jogging pace. "Guys! CG5 just made a post on Twitter!" "And that's surprising because...?" Gigi sasses. "Well he mentioned there's been a murder near his house, like right next to it!" This comes as a surprise to me as I see my friends are surprised too.
"H-how did they die?" I ask with curiosity and worry. "I don't know. He wasn't allowed to see but.. the murder happened in the house right beside his!" "That's nuts!" Maxie says out loud as anyone could tell that's a really close call. Liz's favorite YouTuber, someone who she takes joy in watching could've died! "I'm just glad he got lucky, unless the murder was intentional instead of a psychopath was killing for the sake of killing." Liz tells us and I couldn't agree more. "Denis posted not too long ago about seeing written words on his mirror. First him now CG5 is having bad luck too?!" "What did the words say?" Liz asks Gigi. "They said-" "GIGI!" Gigi made a small jump at the loud shout and whirled around, only to see it was her dad who was waiting for her. Gigi sighs before waving goodbye and running to the car in a worry. "We should really go to the bus before we talk any longer." Maxie tells us and she's right. Us three walk to the bus stop but halfway there, Liz asks a question. "So, what were you guys talking about before I showed up?"
"We were talking about Will. We noticed he used to seem really calm in his old videos but he's been acting crazier when he got married. "That's really weird, right?" Maxie asked us and I noddm in agreement but also have another thought. "But then again, YouTubers do act dramatic for entertainment. Maybe that's why?" "Yeah, but I still find it weird. Maybe it's nothing." She replies just as we catch the bus stop. To our luck, we're just on time and the bus pulls over due to us signaling to get on. We all pay the driver, Luz first, Maxie second and I last.
Will's P.O.V.
Staring at myself in the mirror in the bathroom, I start to think... Am I doing something wrong? I feel like I'm doing something wrong... I'm shirtless at the moment and right now I notice I look a bit underweight but not knowing if that should make me feel better. Katie took away my phone again but who can blame her? I was texting an awful lot last night, but only because Lewis wouldn't stop trying to talk to me. Forget it, I don't even need my friends, I have a family to take care of. Putting my hand in the pockets of my jeans, I clench my fists at the thought of causing vi- "Ah!" I let out a small yelp and pull out my hand to see a tiny cut. Oh yeah, my razor blade. I always forget I keep them in there. Oh well, we all make mistakes. I'd throw them away but I always get this worrisome thought of throwing stuff away, because what if it'll be useful in the future? I'll hold onto this." "Will! Get in here!" Katie calls out to me but not as harshly as usual. I put my black hoodie back on to cover my upper body and that's when I exit the bathroom to go to the kitchen.
"Here." She says in a sighing type of tone while handing my phone back over to me. A bit of surprise radiates within me while I take the time to check my phone if anyone texted. "By the way, dearest mother sent a text to come by for a visit. "Oh, your parents don't usually come around much. Are you getting along?" "Not them, your mother you s-" Katie suddenly paused knowing Jessica is in the room. "Your mother. Not mine..." Honestly, I'm glad it's her coming over than my 'Friends' like Charlie, Denis, Lewis or any others. I love them but at least she's supportive of the relationship.
