Euclid Astral Gemini's PoV

"Headshot." I smirked as I watch the little robber's head get holed after firing a shot. Agad namang naging alerto ang mga kasama nito. Some clutched the ropes of their horses tightly na tila ba takot na takot sa ilalim ng araw.

Ohh, that must be their leader.

I whistled a bit. Knowing how awesome the new poisoned needle I bought. Isang tama lang ngunit eto s'ya at sumusuka ng dugo saaking harapan.

I was about to start assassinating them one by one. Ngunit napigil ito ng biglang may napugot na ulo. Blood squirted from the old man's neck and spurted all over. But like earlier, walang tao o nilalang ang nakitang dumaan o pumasok.

The other men started screaming and running away, ngunit naiwan sila ng kabayo when their bodies was cut into half.

I got comfortable in sitting on a tree. I wonder who's the killer? Must be one cool person.

Nanahimik lamang ako sa isang tabi at nanatiling tahimik. My silver eyes flickered on the shadows done by the trees as I watch the guy came out from the side who slaughtered the bandits in just a swish of his silver sword. I even felt his light golden orbs on me. But I shrugged the thought off. Sino ba naman ako upang mapansin n'ya?

I am nothing but dust. And I plan to stay that way forever.

The guy disappeared into thin air. But when the huge wooden box carried by those bandits moved, agad n'ya iyong nilapitan. He sliced the locked open at ganoon na lamang ang pagkakagitla ko ng may tulungan s'yang isang dalagita palabas ng kahon.

The lady moved with such elegance. Her black hair flowed softly in the air habang ang kanyang mga mata ay tila berdeng bato na kumikinang sa dilim. She was glowing. Dressed in both majestic linens and accessories.

She was someone I am not.

Hinilig ko ang aking ulo upang mawala ang mga iniisip. Of course you can and could never be her Aust. She is a princess, someone from royalty. And you, an elf, someone from dust.

I watched as the guy talked with the girl. As if reassuring her with something. Napatingin ako sa nasa tenga nito.

Those are pure diamond earrings, she's got two and oh hell I'm sure it won't hurt losing both. I just need to stay cautious. Isa pa, her ring is also, very beautiful.

I touched my necklace and get a needle from it. Now... Must I kill her or just steal?

I smirked at the thought. The latter is well, heartwarming. And I'd rather not.

Agad kong pinalipad ang karayom patungo sa direksyon ng dalawang nilalang. But to my surprise. The man in blue caught my needles. He looked in my direction, and at that time, I knew, I was in deep danger. I held my breath.

Never had someone ever stopped a flying needle of mine. Never. Except for someone. But still, never.

May lumapit naman ditong isa pang lalake na nakasakay sa kabayo na itim at may kabuntot pang isa. They talked. But instead of staying, I fled.

Hell! I decided to live longer. And in this life, I learned how to back down. Na hindi lahat ng bagay makukuha mo.

Napakibit balikat na lamang ako. Siguro ay makakapangnakaw pa ako bukas. All I have to do is to leave this place.

I jumped on trees until I reached the country's border.

I was about to cross it when I felt someone touched my neck. Napatigil tuloy ako sa pagtalon mula sa bato tungo sa isa pang bato dito sa gitna ng ilog. I shivered at the man's touch. Ngunit hindi ko iyon pinakita. Imbes ay tinanggal ko ang kamay nito. The smell of blood quickly engulfed my nostrils.

Oh damn.

"What have we got here?" A sarcastic voice said behind the man. Ang lalaking nasa likod nito ay may mahabang itim na buhok at mapula ang mga mata. His paleness highlighted his scorching red lips.

Habang ang nasa harap ko naman ay isang napaka-tangkad na lalaki. It was the same creature whom I adore fighting off those bandits. Hindi ko naman mapigilang titigan ang gintuing mga mata nito. I would do everything to get those eyes if it could be sold—But no, I wouldn't sell it, rather, I'll treasure them.

Seeing him under the moon in a big wide space made me realize how tall and handsome he was, lalo na ng dahil sa dilaw at nakahawi nitong buhok. His jaw was like, chiseled by the gods themselves. And not to mention his figure! He is God's gift to women—But I ain't gonna tell that. Para saan pa?

The man eyed me suspiciously. "Needles, huh?" Sabi n'ya at kinuha ang aking kwintas upang tingnan iyon. I tapped his knuckles away from it.

"I walked away already didn't I?" Naiinis kong sabi. And for so long, I was overwhelmed because I was able to talk to another walking organism. Kay tagal ko nang hindi binubuksan ang aking bibig. Ngunit imbes na sagutin ako ay hinaklit n'ya ang kwintas at hinagis iyon sa kanyang likuran. I groaned at the motion. Damn hell it hurts! But I wouldn't show him that. At tulad ng sinabi ko kanina: NEVER.

"Oh no, elf. You hurt the princess, hindi namin iyon mapapalampas." Saad muli ng lalaki sa likod ng taong may hawak ngayon ng aking kuwintas. His voice was full of anger. But I've got no time for his anger! I need that necklace!

"Stop it Leo." Sambit naman ng prinsesang nakasakay sa kabayo nito. The girl kindly looked at me. "It must have been hard Euclid." Halos umurong na ang dila ko ng marinig ang pangalang iyon. How did she know my name?

For life I've been called as slave. Ni isang tao ay walang nakakaalam na Euclid ang aking ngalan. "You know her Kris?" The man beside me asked. The girl nodded naman.

She eyed me and smiled. "The missing piece." The other two guys looked at me as if I was the most interesting thing on the world. Napataas naman ako ng kamay.

"Look. Aalis na ako. Can I? I don't have time for this." Sabi ko at agad nang tumalikod. I jumped my way straight away from those weirdos. Kung ano man ang pinauusapan nila—I am out of it!

Ngunit ng panghuling apak ay naramdaman ko nalang ang paglipad ng aking katawan at ang pagkakasampay ko sa balikat ng isa. "Put me down! Hindi ko kayo kilala!" I struggled and punched the guy ngunit lahat ng iyon ay nabalewala ng dahil sa pagod. I can't even land one supreme correct punch on him for pete's sake!

"One word and I'll kill you." Saad nito hindi alintana ang dugo parin sa kanyang mukha.

So the guy named Loki—Short for Aquarius Loki Fergarro—was quite the gentleman. He made me ride on his white horse adorned with golden accessories or something of the sort. Nanakaw ko na nga ang isang padangle-dangle na bagay doon eh. And to my touch, it felt like pure aquamarine.

So 'yun nga, he and Leo—the guy with the ever so soft black hair—made me joined their travails towards who knows where. Buti nalang at nandito si Kris—short for Crescent Frendall Altair—she keeps protecting me from the remarks of the two, lalo na kay Leo.

Later on, we reached the destination. Namangha naman ang aking mga mata sa isang napakalaking gate. It was colored blue and silver. The same color of the moon on its elegant days. May mga oras kasing nararamdaman ko ang lungkot ng buwan. I even remember someone who sang to me the song called 'Whispers of the Night' its stanzas are about how the moon glows every time it's happy or sad. Subalit napaka-tagal na noon. I even doubt if I remember the person who sang it. But I'm sure, it's a girl. And I thought the song to another guy. Kahit na, konting parte na lamang ng kanta ang naaalala ko.

Ki knocked thrice at the gate. Mula naman sa dalawang posteng nakatayo sa gilid nito, being it's support, ay may lumabas na dalawang maliit na nilalang. They are moon elves. Moon elves are creatures which guards the kingdom. I am an elf ngunit hindi ko alam kung anong kategorya. It doesn't matter anyway.

Loki got something off his coat, he raised it up high and flashed it by the afternoon sun's light. It was a crest. Nanlaki naman ang mga mata ko when I realized which crest it was. The Elven Crest.

The Elven Crest are acquired only if you are an assassin who pledge to guide and guard all Elven Royals. So they're really aren't such normal persons.

Bumukas ang gate pagkatapos ng isang malakas na tunog ng trumpeta. Doon ay naaninag ko naman ang medyo may kalayuaan at kalawakang daan tungo sa isang malaking kastilyo na napapalibutan ng naglalakihang mga bulaklak at hardin.

Sa sobrang pagkamangha ko ay huli ko nang nasaksihan ang pagtigil ng isang napakagandang karwahe saaming harapan. I thought that we're gonna ride it, ngunit nang ibinaba ni Leo si Kris mula sa kanyang kabayo ay doon ko naintindihan na bilang prinsesa ng lugar na ito ay s'ya lamang ang maaring sumakay doon.

Kumaway s'ya saamin at umuna na.

Aakyat sana muli ako sa kabayo ni Ki, ngunit napatigil ako ng higitin n'ya ang aking braso. "Ano?" I asked.

Ngumisi ito ng nakakaba. Isang ngising hindi ko alam ay maaari palang manggaling mula sa kanya. "I'll ride. Baba." Tila mataray na babae nitong saad. Napatingin naman ako sa mga tao sa paligid. All were looking at me as if I was a contagious animal! Napamura ako sa isipan.

So now that Kris is not here eto ang trato nila saakin? Great.

Agad naman akong bumaba. Since wala din naman pala akong gagawin at balak lang nila akong pahirapan, why bring me here? Tanga lang?

I heaved a sigh and turned my back. Napansin ko ding umuna na si Leo. Damn these two!

"Saan ka pupunta?" Malamig na sabi ni Loki habang humahakbang ako patungo sa labas ng malapit nang masara na gate. I crossed my arms and turned my eyes into slit. Now he's asking me that?

"I'm not needed anymore. Sanyo na ang kwintas. I'll go." Naiinis kong saad. Anyway, I stole five of the diamonds dangling in his horse already. Malaki na ang kita ko dito.

I heard him hissed as I once again turned my back. Ganoon nalang ang pagkagulat ko ng biglang tumaas sa ere ang aking mga paa. Now our surroundings where filled with so much gasps and chatters. Pati naman ako ay napamura ng paupuin ako nito sa harap n'ya.

"Ano ba?" Inis kong sabi. Tugging softly on the horse's hair. I've never rode a horse for pete's sake!

"Shut up. I know you don't know how to ride a horse, paano pa ang umakyat dito? So I rode first dumbass." Malamig n'yang sabi ng may pagbabanta. How could he do that? I don't know. Ang alam ko lamang ay ako ang napahiya because of my own judgement. I felt my cheeks heathen up throughout the whole ride. Anak ng pusa! "Don't pull her hair. Baka magwala." Turan pa nito kaya napabitaw agad ako sa buhok ng kabayo.

Sorry horsey.

Lumipas ang ilang minutong pangangabayo ng makarating kami sa mismong harap ng establishimento. Nahiya naman akong iapak ang putikan kong sapatos ng dahil sa kintab ng hagdan nito patungo sa mismong pintuan.

Loki got down first, this time, hindi na ako naghintay na ibaba n'ya. I jumped on my own. Muntik pa akong madulas ngunit agad akong napahawak sa rehas ng kabayo.

Making the scene, slip-free.

Ngunit hindi nakatakas sa mata ko ang pagngisi ni Loki sa tabi. Npaatungo na lamang ako.

May dalawang lalaking kumuha ng kabayo nina Leo at Loki. Nauna nadin saamin ang napaka-eleganteng si Kris. She was standing head up high on the castle doors.

Ngumiti ito ng magtama ang tingin namin. Kind. Dahil ang mga taong may kakayanan lamang ngumiti ng ganoon ay ang may mga perpektong buhay. Unlike mine.

"Let's go in?" Leo asked in which Kris nodded at. Hindi ko naman mapigilang magpahuli ng lakad. I am busy, admiring all the details of the place.

"Hoho!" Biglang saad ng isang matandang lalake nang makapasok kami sa isang napaka-ganda at napaka-eleganteng hallway. He walked towards us and hugged the only girl other than me. "Let's have a party as my thanks Loki and Leo." Masayang-masaya n'yang saad. His eyes landed on me then.

Ako naman, hindi ko alam ang iaasta. I'm busy checking out things. Mamaya, may mamahalin pala ditong bagay nmadali lang dalhin paalis di'ba? Hmm...

"Talk." Ani ni Loki. I just gave a careless smile and grinned at the most well known Elven, King Osiah Jiarre Altair.

"Euclid Astral Gemini Sire."

"Gemini?" His eyes widened. Napakunot naman ako. I guess this have a connection doon sa kaninang tinutukoy nila. "Is she?" Muli n'yang tanong habang napapapikit at napatingin kay Kris.

Kris nodded and warmly smiled. "Again, the missing piece."
