3.
A bright light shined through the room. I could see that the King and Prince could see perfectly while I was blinded by the light coming from behind me. Fear sunk deep but then I heard someone said "No need to be afraid Aria of Bree."
My heart skipped a beat because her voice sounded like it was coming from my head. Witch craft. I then heard a chuckle coming again from my head and she said "No my dear Aria, I'm just a helping voice."
The light died down but I took no action into staring where the light came from. "Lady Galadriel, what is the purpose of your sudden arrival?" Thranduil asked as he lowered the sword but he still had a tight grip on it.
"Aria speaks the truth," Galadriel spoke as she sudden stood beside me. I could see her silvery gown flowing beside me, and as I looked up I couldn't help but gasp. The red head has nothing on this elleth beside me. She looked more of an angel than an elleth with her golden locks and silver eyes, her skin glowed like it was made of mithril.
"If she speaks the truth then I have no desire nor sympathy to let her live." Thranduil said. Galadriel smiled as if she knew he would say this. "Then I shall take her from your hands." Both the Prince and King looked at each other, in utter confusion.
"What is she to you?" Legolas asked. "I shall protect her, guide her... The poor child is confused and lost." Galadriel spoke with elegance. Thranduil frowned at Galadriel's proposal. I just sat on the ground with tears still in my eyes and clutching my stomach.
"I will not allow this abomination to walk this land any further." Thranduil sneered and as my gaze shifted to Galadriel her face suddenly contorted into a ghostly like figure. Her eyes then snapped towards the King and Prince making both of them take a step back unlike me who flinched. Her face was suddenly back to normal.
"Now," she smiled sweetly which seemed frightening. "My dear Greenleaf, bring her to Caras Galadhon." Legolas nodded once. Galadriel then bend down so we were on the same level. "Aria, Prince Legolas will bring you to my home. You'll be safe there." her sweet voice spoke. "My... My sword... it was my fathers. I would love to have it back." I timidly said.
Galadriel looked at Thranduil who rolled his eyes and nodded. Galadriel then stood up and started walking away. "See you in the fortnight Aria." she said but as I turned around to watch her walk away she was suddenly gone. It was like she disappeared out of thin air.
"Legolas," Thranduil sounded angry. "Bring her to Galadriel. Bring a few warriors with you. I don't want you two alone anymore. And when you get back we'll discuss more about this." Thranduil then harshly stomped out of the room.
The red head elleth showed up again but this time with my belongings including my father's sword. I suddenly noticed that the King and the Prince were nowhere in sight. "I will show you your room for tonight, you will leave at first light." the red head said as she began to lead me through different halls. I was in awed at the structure of the hall.
I could hear my footsteps echo through the halls while the red head's was silent. She then slowed down and was now walking beside me rather than in front of me. She looked at me hesitantly like she wanted to ask me something. She then shook her head and asked "Is that child really... Legolas'?"
I then looked at the slight bump on my stomach and smiled. I didn't know who Legolas was nor did I have any romantic feelings. I do certainly find Legolas handsome, who wouldn't?
"Yes." I told her. We came to a complete stop and she faced me. "The Prince took you to bed?" she asked in shock. That's when I noticed something about the red head elleth.
"Her hair is as red as fire with a spirit that can make my heart skip beats. She walks in grace and her smile... Oh her smile can lighten up the whole room... She fights amazingly! She's one of a kind but... This is only a one sided love... it is madness,"
Legolas' voice echoed in my head.
"Tauriel."I whispered but Tauriel obviously heard what I said and her eyes widen "How do you know my name?" she felt threatened. I raised both of my hands in surrender to show her I mean no harm. "Legolas talked about you when I... was with him before." I quickly said. Tauriel then hesitantly continued walking down the halls with me. "And yes... he took me to bed... but it was a mistake we both had too much to drink." I quickly added the last part.
I saw Tauriel smile and she said "I never thought Legolas would be one to drink." I chuckled remembering how eager he wanted ale that day. "I do apologize, but I don't know your name." Tauriel said as she faced me. I smiled and said "My name is Aria."
"Welcome Aria to the great Greenwood, since you're here for a different reason may I offer you the greatest of luck in surviving. Legolas is a noble man. But I think the King won't come around. He loathed when Legolas had feelings for me... I could not imagine how he feels towards this." Tauriel said in the sincerest as she could.
