Smaug
-your pov-
I had parted ways with Bard and his children and made my way to Erebor. The dwarves had sent me inside to get the Arken stone.
I walked inside the halls of Erebor. I felt the gold rumble as I made my way towards where I could feel the Arken stone and Smaug's presence.
My dragon form itching to get out once again as I got closer to the treasure hall.
The Arkenstone called to me under a pile of gold. I finally heard Smaug's soothing snoring. I felt fire roam around me as I walked closer to the rock.
Suddenly I saw a yellow-gold eye staring at me. I stared back and did not care much that Smaug had now woken up. When I was close enough to be able to get around the stone, Smaug got up. gold fell in long rivers from his back.
"Well, thief..." Smaug takes another sniff.
"I smell you. I hear your breath. I feel your air. Where are you? Where are you ?!" I walk into the light and say.
"Here. Look at me if you dare." when I say this, Smaug turns his big head. Anger is visible in his eyes. His eyes widen when he sees the fire swirling around me.
"The D-dragon queen. I thought you were dead." He stutters as I shift to my full form. My white scales shine in the dim light of the gold and send a moon-like light around me.
"Yes Smaug, it's me. And no, I've never been dead. I do not know who told you about it, nor do I want to know because I care little about your sources." I lift to my full height which is a good deal higher than Smaug.
"What are you doing here?" he asks, raising his eyes to my sea-blue ones.
"Well, it's pretty simple. Give me the Arkenstone and I'll go and not bother you again." I say and a smirk spreads over my moon-bright lips.
Smaug lowers his head and looks like he's looking for something. Eventually, he takes something with his teeth. Arkenstone.
He carefully puts it in front of my claws. I nod in thanks and begin to shift back to my elf form. after that, I take the stone in my hand and turn around to look up at Smaug one last time.
"You are as magnificent as the songs and stories say. I hope our paths cross again. And one last thing, leave Erebor. This place belongs to the dwarves, not dragons like us." with these words I go back to the end.
I hear just after Smaug crawls after me. Soon I'm out and Smaug gives me one last look and flies away.

Suddenly I am embraced in a warm hug. I laugh a little and hug that person back.
"Nice to see you too, Bilbo," I say as we break apart.
Bilbo smiles and walks a little to the side. The dwarves come running and hug me all at once. I laugh and give them hugs back.
Suddenly I feel something that is not good. Dragon sickness. Oh no, I forgot it was a disease over this treasure.
I could not let Thorin get it, right? But alas, there is little I can do now.
Their home has been reclaimed and I no longer have a role to play here now.
Gandalf then goes up to me. Sympathy washes over his face and he takes one of his hands on my shoulder.
"You know what's over that treasure, do you not?" he asks as I nod in response.
"Yes dear Gandalf, but I can not stop them from going to their home now. They have been waiting a long time to be able to return. I have no heart to tear them away from the home they have so long been waiting to see again."
Gandalf nods. I then decide that it's time to show who I am to my companions.
"Thorin!" I shout and catch the attention of all the 13 dwarves and Bilbo.
"Yes, Angela?" he says and turns to me with one of his eyebrows raised in question. I take a deep sigh and shift right in front of their eyes. Wings form on my sides and I stand on four legs. Claws grow out of where my nails once were.
Sharp teeth form in my mouth and my tongue grows longer. My eyes grow into the blue-sea reptile ling and the pupil that was once round is now just a line. Spikes float down over my back and down to the newly shaped tail. Horns grow out the back of my head and it grows enormously.
I let out a roar of relief that shook the whole hill and the surrounding mountains. I then lower my head to the level of my companions and let a cloud of smoke go out from my nostrils.
"I'm Angela, the queen of dragons. The daughter of Valdar and the great dragon Ancalagon the Black. I'm sorry I did not tell you this before but I just could not bear the shame of had been the reason you were in danger." when I finished my speech, I felt a hand stroke my scales and down my neck.
"I for once do not want to kill a dragon." The familiar voice of Killi rang thru my ears.
"Glad to hear I haven't lost you, Killi," I said. I purred and pressed my head against his body.
"Do you think the rest of us should be happy to see that of our own is one of those monsters?" Thorin hissed as he walked further and further back in the darkness of Erebor.
I raised my head, now be much taller than them. "No thorin, I'm not a monster. If I were the way Smaug or the dragons you think are evil, I'd have long since killed you. But here you are alive, and this is my thanks?" I sighed and with a beat of my enormous wings, I was in the air.
Suddenly I felt the presence of the elves of Mirkwood. I heard screaming and yells.
"Look, it's the dragon!" I just chuckled and made my way down to them.
The king came forward and Legolas was beside him.
"What are you doing here, dragon?" He spat and unsheathed his sword. I moved my head closer to him and stared at him right in his icy blue eyes.
"I am not that dragon, my king," I said as I hovered my head higher. My sharp teeth's visible as I said those words, speaking with a deep but soft voice.
-Thranduil's POV-
As the dragon said those words, I felt that she wasn't lying. Her eyes shone ocean-blue just like Angela's. Her white scales shone as Angela's golden-white hair too.
"If you speak the truth, let me feel your scales," I said as I gave my son the sword I had in my hands. The dragon nodded and moved even closer, so close that I could feel her fire warm breath.
I lifted my hand and touched the scales between her nostrils. She purred lowly and closed her eyes. I chuckled and moved my hand up to one of her black horns.
"Now, do you believe me?" She boomed, her voice shaking the ground gently. I nodded and I swear that I could see a smile spread across her scaly lips.
-your POV-
I smiled and lifted my head back to its high position. I then shifted, staying at a tall height. My wings vanished and my scales were replaced by soft skin.
My horns left my head and my hair flowed down over my shoulders as I rose to my full height.
The king and his guards stumbled back and gaped. I laughed at their expressions and bowed gently.
"You didn't guess that I was the angel dragon, or many of you know me as "the moon dragon" I'm sorry that I didn't say my secret," I said as I lowered my head.
"You need not be sorry for hiding this for us, we understand, right Ada?" Legolas said and a smile spread across my lips and I lifted my head.
"Thank you, I appreciate your kindness. But if you don't mind, I would like to fly a stroll. You may join" I said as I once again shifted back to my dragon.
When I was done, I turned my big head towards Legolas and Thranduil.
"So, what do you say?" I say as I tilt my head. They both nod and I smile a scaly Smile.
I lay down on the ground so they can climb on my back. They did. When they were safe in my back, I lifted my moon-like wings and wait for one beat of my enormous wings, I was in the air.
"Where do you wanna fly?" I asked them as we were standing still in the air over milkwood.
"How about you just take us where you like it best here?" Thranduil said as he gently pats my scaly neck.
I smiled and sat off to the sliver mountain as I called it.
We reached the mountain and I heard both Legolas and his father gasp in awe at the sight.
"This is my home in middle-earth." I voided as I slid down in a gently landing on the stone.
A great Eagle landed beside me and chipped.
"Ah hey, Goriel." I said as Legolas and Thranduil were down on the safe ground.
"What brings the dragon queen to the silver mountain?" She asked, tilting her feathery head.
"And why did you bring elves with you?" I chuckled at her questions.
"They're my friends, my dear. I simply wanted to show them my home." I said, words slipping out on my tongue as diamonds.
My reptile tongue slithered over my teeth as they became viable and glimmered in the morning light.
Goriel just nodded and went back to her pack.
"Who was that?" Legolas said, walking closer to me.
"My old friend, Goriel," I answered, walking to the darkness of my whole.
I laid down and opened my wings so that Legolas and his father could lay down close to me.
"Com here, it can get cold here towards the night." My voice called. They moved closer and laid down next to my stomach. I purred and moved my head to them so that I was making a protective circle with my head and long neck.
"Angela?" Legolas said. I hummed in response. "may you sing us a song?" I chuckled at his question and opened my eyes.
"My dear, I am a dragon. I can't sing. It will just sound like roars and growling. No pleasing sound for elven ears." As I said that, Legolas pouted and lowered his head. I heard Thranduil chuckle.
"Come on, I'm sure it's not that bad." He said as he lifted his head and his eyes met mine. I sighed and lifted my head. I started humming gently. After a while, could a faint singing be heard.
"Our hero, our hero
Claims a warrior's heart
I tell you, I tell you
The Dragonborn comes
With a Voice wielding power
Of the ancient Nord art
Believe, believe
The Dragonborn comes
It's an end to the evil
Of all Skyrim's foes
Beware, beware
The Dragonborn comes
For the darkness has passed
And the legend yet grows
You'll know, you'll know
The Dragonborn's come
Ah-ah-ah
Ah-ah-ah
Ah-ah-ah
Ah-ah-ah
Ah-ah-hah
Ah-ah-hah-ah-ah-ah

Wah dein vokul mahfaeraak ahst vaal!
Ahrk fin norok paal graan fod nust hon zindro zaan

As I ended the song, I heard low snoring. I moved my head so that I could see them. They were sleeping. I smiled. Happy that at least some of my friends did accept me as I am. Lady Galadriel and Lord Elrond do too and now Prince Legolas and King Thranduil. I laid my head down on the cold ground again and closed my eyes.
