Arriving at Rivendale
Author's note: This part will be a variatoans of Angela's pov and someone else. I hope you understand that it's a little difficult to write since English is not my mother's language, neither my father's. That's all, have fun reading! <3
-your pov-
We were walking along a path inside the mountain that protected them from the orcs outside. Angela had heard the elven horn outside the door of the mountain or stone you can call it. She had smiled under her cloak, knowing that she'll soon be inside the walls of her old friend, Lord Elrond.
They deserted the path and follow a certainly small river, flooding down from the stones. Where the river flooded till was clear for her as the familiar scent caught her nose. The hood on her head was slowly peeling off her sliver head, but she noticed it and stuffed it back on top of her head. Balin had noticed this but choose not to question her.
As soon they came inside the white place of Rivendale, they were greeted with the presence of the elf by the name of Lindir. Angela saw her friend smiling towards her as she made her way from the dwarves and over to his side.
" It's been far na an híril Angela* it's been far too long, Lady Angela," he said as he engulfs her in a friendly hug, though she could feel that is was more to this hug than friendly feelings. She quickly hugs him back, placing a hand on his soft brown hair. He stiffens slightly but remains in her embrace. She then says, her voice singing with happiness.
"Indeed nin Mellon. Im estel I cín hir has farn room an 13 dwarves.* Indeed my friend. I hope that your lord has enough room for 13 dwarves. " she said as she gestures towards her companions.
Lindir took one look at them and then turned to Gandalf.
"Ah, Gandalf. I must've known that you had something to do with Lady Angela's return." He said with a smile on his lips. Gandalf nodded, also smiling.
Suddenly their conversation was interrupted with a horn ring beyond Rivendale's halls.
"Gandalf!" Lord Elrond says as he slides down from his horse. They embraced each other in a friendly hug. Suddenly a strange look came over lord Elrond's face like he felt something. I break free from Gandalf and turn to Angela, smiling even wider.
"Ah, híril Angela. Welcome back, nin híril. * Ah, Lady Angela. Welcome back, my lady.*" he says as he bows for her. She chuckles and takes one of her hands on his shoulder.
-your POV-
"Baw baur na peng an nin Mellon. If im remember more correctlui, cin're more -o lordlui blood than im. * No need to bow for me friend. If I remember more correctly, you're more of lordly blood than I.*" I said as i bow. He chuckles and gestures to Lindir to take Angela to my chambers. He nods and asks me to follow him.
We reach my chamber and I open my mouth in awe.
"Ha's even more bein than im tur- remember. Who's responsible an I change?"
Translation: It's even more pretty than I can remember. Who's responsible for the change?
I ask as Lindir's cheeks flush red. I, though take no notice of it and just stroke my hands against the fine carven wood that is embedded on the pillars that hold my bed.
"I have no idea, my lady." He says as he bows.
"You're excused, my Mellon," I said and sit down at the bed, tugging gently at the comforter.
I still feel Lindir's presence before, so I lift my eyes to meet his.
"Something you wanna tell me, Mellon?" I say as my eyes shift to worry. He snaps out of something, like a trance, and smiles warmly.
"No my lady, I will be going now." He said and bows again before he makes out for the door.
I sigh and wake my way out on the balcony.
The wind is gently blowing my golden-white hair as I hum a soft tone.
Suddenly my thoughts get interrupted by a voice calling out to me.
"Why are you standing out there, young Elleth?" A male voice calls out from under the balcony. I turn my head down.
There I see right in the ocean blue eyes of an Ellon. He's around my age but seems more like a prince than a soldier.
" I find the silence out here more comfortable than being with the dwarfs. But aren't you the prince from Mirkwood?" I ask as my eyes look him over. He gently nods and smiles at me.
"Indeed I am." He says simply. I was about to answer when I suddenly heard my name being called. It's Gandalf.
"I'm sorry, your highness, but I must go. My friends are waiting. Hopefully, we'll see each other again" I say as I bow before I turn and goes inside.
"Yes, Gandalf? You called me?" I ask Gandalf as I approach him. He nods and gestures for me to come closer.
"Our dwarves have gone. I want you to follow them, secure that they don't come in any trouble." He says.
I nod and start to walk away. But before I can go out, I hear a calling in my mind.
"Welcome to Rivendale, princess Angela. If you wish to meet me, come to Lothlórien on your way home." I nod in my head and she cut the link.
-Legolas POV-
After that elleth went away, I thought that she was kind of familiar but I could not quite place her.
"Ah hello, Legolas. Was does the reason for your presence at my library?" Lord Elrond aks as I stride inside.
"Nothing much, just that I wish to ask you of what you know of the elleth with the name Angela," I said as I move my eyes to meet his gaze.
He seems not hesitant but answers at once.
"She's the lost princess of the royal dragons. She does not know her fate yet, but she'll soon find out. I get that you'd met her? Tell me, she was beautiful, was she not?" As he asks this, I notice my cheeks flush red and I lower my head, averting his gaze.
I can hear him chuckle and he places one of his hands on my shoulder, making me look up.
"Do not worry, your secret will be safe with me. Though, I do not think it will take long for her to find out what your feelings are." With those as the last words, I retreat to my chambers.
-your Pov-
A/n note: you're now in milkwood. I do not think good about the goblins, in other words, I despise them. So I'll skip that part with them and go right to the part with milkwood. If I do not place my chapters in the correct order after the movie, tell me. I can't fully remember what happened in the movie, even though I saw it last weekend. That's all ~
As we enter the borders of Milkwood, I feel my mind giving a small throb of pain. I take my head in my hands and rubs my temples. Suddenly I couth the sound of wheezing. I growl and snap around, just to see a big spider.
"Be gone gadhumurz creatures!" I hiss in the black speech, surprising everyone around me. The spiders hiss and start attacking.
I slice the closet to me in the head, beheading it. I then move on to the next.
Soon I hear elves coming towards us. Legolas. I continue fighting until I hear the cry of one of my companions.
"Filli!" I roar, feeling my skin heat up at the sight of the spider dragging my friend.
"Not so fast, she-dragon" the spider who's dragging Filli hiss. I ignore it and leaps on to it.
Fire engulfs my hands and hits the spider, causing it to release its grip ok Filli. I then pull Filli towards me and take us back to the company.
"Don't think I won't kill you, dwarf. It would be my pleasure." Legolas hiss as he points his arrow at Thorin.
"Why do you take hate for this dwarf, price Legolas of Milkwood," I say, walking Infront of Thorin.
"Angela?" He asks me and lowers his bow.
"Yes, it is me," I answer and bow.
" What are you doing with dwarves?" He said. I hold my head high and say, in arothiy not even the king of milkwood holds.
"That will be my time to judge if I should tell you or not, prince." Legolas nods and says to his soldiers.
"Take them to the palace. The king will decide their fate."
^~^
We walked inside the walls of the palace of milkwood. I smile at the dine carven wood that the pillars are embedded with. I then feel Bilbo's presence from behind me. He's using the ring. Ugh, I should see that object get burned with its master.
"So this is the elleth that refused to tell her case to my son," the king said, looking down at me from his throne. I still held my head high, moving my eyes to meet his. His ice-blue is just as they describe as.
"Yes, I am, your majesty," I said, still holding his gaze. He seemed surprised that I didn't back away from his eyes. But regained his posture.
"Will you say it to me?" He asked. I chuckled and said.
"I may. But I think the dwarven prince can tell you as good as me." As I mentioned Thorin, Thranduil turned to him.
"Some may imagine that a Noble quest is at hand. A Quest to reclaim a homeland and slay a dragon. I suspect a more prosaic motive. Attempted burglary, or something of that ilk." he leans down to look at Thorin closely.
"You have found a way in. You seek that which would bestow upon you the right to rule. A King's jewel. The Arkenstone. It is precious to you beyond measure, I understand that. There are gems in the mountain that I too desire. White gems of pure starlight. I offer you my help." I then see Thorin's lips tug into a smile.
" Lord Thranduil," I say in a pleading tone, to my surprise and the others.
"Yes?" He asked as his eyes furrowed in confusion.
" May I speak to Thorin alone?" I said, my head still high.
"I guess you can, but come back afterward. I have more to say to you." I nodded and lead Thorin with me to an empty corridor.
"What is the matter?" He asked worry filled his voice. I smile sadly and take a hand on his shoulder.
"I know what you're gonna answer the King. I fully respect your choice. But it seems not good to decline an offer of a king. Those gems are more precious to him than they are to you, believe me. Let him have what's his, and you will have what's yours"
I walk back to the throne room. As soon as I came into the room, the king's gaze moved to meet mine.
"You wanted to speak with me, my king?"
