I was busy watching the Cricket World Cup, I badly wanted India to win, but... Let it be I don't want to discuss that, I moved on from that loss.

Third-person-pov

Atharv is conducting an urgent meeting with his ministers, while the court doctors are giving treatment to Mitakshi.

"I want that bastard's to be hanged." Atharv clenched his jaw.

"If we hung them, how will we know who sent them.?" The prime minister put his point.

"Valid point, torture them mercilessly until they tell the truth after that kill them, torture should be very dangerous, they injured my queen, the Queen of Rayankonda, Mitakshi Atharv Simha." Atharv instructed everything to his ministers and quickly went towards the Queen's chamber, where Mithakshi was getting treated, he saw Yashoda standing and walking outside the queen chamber's.

"Amma..." Atharv went and hugged Yashoda "I'm scared amma, I hope she will be fine."

"Don't worry, she will be fine because she is the wife of a warrior king, who fought like a warrior," Yashoda said.

A lady opened the door of the queen's chamber, she was treating Mitakshi's wounds, she knew ayurveda treatments, and she learned it "Yes, your majesty, Queen's cuts were not that deep and blood loss was also low, so she is out of danger."

A maid came running to the room "Rajamatha, Princess Aadrika is crying, she is not hearing anyone, she looks scared, please come."

"Amma, you go, I will take care here." Atharv assured, Yashoda went from there and consoled her daughter, who was scared because of all the things she saw.

Atharv is sitting in front of her without going anywhere, he is waiting for Mitakshi to open her eyes. Mitakshi slowly tried to open her eyes.

"Mitakshi, c...can you see me.?" Atharv asked, Mitakshi opened her eyes, smiled and nodded her head.

"Thank god, you opened your eyes." Atharv said and looked at the maid who was standing near the door, she ran outside to inform Rajamatha.

"How are you feeling.?" Atharv caressed her forehead.

"Good, little body pain is there." Mitakshi tried to get up.

"Wait, let me help you." Atharv helped her to sit put a pillow on her back, and held her hands "You know you fought like a warrior, I... I just loss for words seeing you."

"Didn't your ego hurt Or feeling ashamed that a girl saved your life.?" Mitakshi questions.

"No, why will I? , you are my wife, I'm proud of you." Atharv forwarded and kissed her forehead, looked into her eyes "You were looking like a Goddess when you are fighting, you didn't save me, you literally a gave second life to me, I can't imagine my situation if you weren't there." Atharv kissed her hand, and Mitakshi kept her hand on his cheek, they were soo close to each other, they had eye contact, and they heard each other heartbeats, both hearts were beating fastly, and they decreased the space between them, Atharv looked at her lips and forwarded his face towards her, Mitakshi closed her eyes in nervous, their lips were so close but suddenly they heard the door opening sound, Atharv sat on the chair, Mitakshi opened her eyes, Yashoda, Prime minister and army chief came inside the room.

"I'm so happy that you gained consciousness." Yashoda hugged Mitakshi "You are a brave girl." Yashoda praised her, and Mitakshi just smiled.

Atharv went near the Army Chief "How are you treating the bastards, did they say anything.?" Atharv asked.

"No, Your Majesty, we are torturing them very badly, but they are not saying anything, they are well-trained." Army chief said.

"No use torturing them, it's better to hang them." The Prime minister said.

"I want to know the main culprit's name." Atharv said Mitakshi started searching for something on the bed.

"What are you searching.? , is everything ok.?" Yashoda said Mitakshi's personal maid came with a tray full of fruits.

"A chain, amma , I clearly remember holding it in my hand." Mitakshi said.

"A golden chain with an eye pedant, right your highness." The maid asked.

"Yes, did you see that.?" Mitakshi asked.

"You were holding it tightly in your hands when you were getting treatment, so I removed it and kept it behind the vase." The maid gave a chain to Mitakshi.

"Yes, this chain, this is the main clue, one of the attackers was wearing this." Mitakshi said.

"Show me." Atharv went and took the chain "Here is the clue, go and get the culprit now." Atharv gave the chain to the army chief.

Army chief was checking the chain, Yashoda keenly observed the chain "One second." She took the chain from the Army chief and observed it.

Tears rolled from her eyes "Th...This is my brother's chain." Yashoda's voice cracked.

Atharv immediately said to the Army chief "Stop torturing them, I will tell you what to do next." Atharv said, the Army chief went from there.

"Amma, please don't cry, please tell me what I need do to." Atharv said.

"I'm a wife of a warrior, I don't cry for a pity reasons, you are the king Atharv, your decision is final, don't show mercy." Yashoda controlled her tears and went from there.

Evening special court was called and the news about Vimal Adikari being the main culprit, spread like a wildfire, everyone was talking something like "Silence please." Atharv said and looked at Vimal Adikari , who was not even looking sad for doing a crime, his daughter and wife looking very sad, Atharv looked at his prime minister and made some eye contact and Atharv continued saying "Vimal Adikari is proven guilty after all the investigation that our kingdom conducted, so he will be expelled from the kingdom right now, he will be leaving this kingdom and never return back here, and about his daughter and wife, considering the fact that they are ladies and can't roam like a men, so they can stay here if they want or they can go with him, the choice is theirs." Atharv declared.

Vimal Adikari's wife Kavitha raised her hand to speak and she was allowed to speak "I'm happy and sad both, Your Majesty, I'm happy that you thought about me and my daughter, I'm grateful for that but my daughter will stay here and I will travel with my husband, because it's my duty, as a wife to follow my husband where ever he goes, my daughter is small if she stays here, she will get the good qualities of her aunty that is your Rajamatha, but one request whenever I comes to visit my daughter, please let me meet her." Kavitha said.

Again Atharv and the prime minister looked at each other, and smiled a little, Atharv said "You are always welcomed here to meet your daughter., only you."

Kavitha looked at Yashoda "I hope you take care of my daughter like yours.", Yashoda nodded her head in assurance with a sad face.

Court was over, and Vimal and his wife went out of the palace, Vimal saw the palace door closing, he smirked and thought "You all think, sending me out can be good for your kingdom, but you don't know that I'm leaving my daughter here, who is more dangerous than me, she is my weapon, slowly but surely, she is going to destroy to you all." And went from there.

Yashoda stands in the balcony to see her brother and his wife leaving the kingdom.

"What are you looking amma.?" Atharv asked from behind.

"Seeing danger going out of our kingdom." Yashoda kept looking at them until they are disappeared from there and went from there.

Atharv looked at his prime minister "The danger is still not fully vanished, be alert, you know our plan, right.?"

Prime minister smiled and nodded his head "Yes, Your Majesty.".......
