Third-person-pov

After a week.

Atharv was discussing the construction of a new small palace in a palace premises with his Prime minister, while talking he heard a female laughing voice from behind.

"Who is laughing.?" Atharv turned and saw Mitakshi playing a hide-and-seek game with Aadrika and a few others, a piece of cloth was closed to the eyes of one person and searching for others, trying to touch the other persons around them, Aadrika was trying to touch the people around her, and others are trying not to get caught, Mitakshi was laughing while playing this game, she was enjoying, Atharv saw a big smile on Mitakshi's for the first time in these months, meantime, Aadrika touched Mitakshi and now Mitakshi closed her eyes a cloth and trying to caught people.

Atharv was happy seeing her smiling widely like this, he remembered the soldier's laugh when he informed Atharv about the hide-seek game "Now, I understand why was he smiling." Atharv thought and turned toward his prime minister " I want the building construction to start from tomorrow, please make sure nothing goes wrong." Atharv said.

"As you say, your majesty." Prime minister went from there, Atharv went towards Mitakshi with silent steps and signalled others including Aadrika to be silent, Atharv went and stood behind Mitakshi, and Mitakshi's body's back touched his, Mitakshi turned and touched his dress "I caught you Aduu.." she removed the cloth from her eyes and shocked to see Atharv there "Yo... your majesty.." Mitakshi turned towards Aadrika and her friends, they were giving mischievous smiles.

Atharv cleared his throat "You all can leave now, Queen needs rest." Atharv smiled, and all went from there.

"I was bored, so I was just playing with them." Mitakshi said.

"Ok, I'm happy that you made friends here." Atharv said, they started walking in the corridor, which leads to their room.

"Ok? That's it, won't you scold me.?" Mitakshi asked, her grandmother never used to allow her to play with others, in case Mitakshi played, her grandmother used to scold her.

"Are you mad?, why will I scold you, you're the queen here, queen of Rayanakonda, nobody has the right to scold you, you are my queen." Atharv smiled, but the distance between them decreased these days, they were too close while walking, Mitakshi wanted to hold his hand while walking, so she tried to touch Atharv's hand, he noticed that and intervened their fingers, and her heart started beating fast.

"You can hold my hand, I'm your husband, not a stranger." Atharv said, Mitakshi blushed while nodding her head, and they continued their walking.

"Mit......" Atharv was about to say but they heard a bullock cartstopping sound from the window, they saw outside the window still holding hands, and they saw Yashoda's brother Vimal Adikari and his family getting down.

"They are thrown out from their kingdom, by his brother after a dispute regarding the crown, so they are here to stay." Atharv explained.

"Oh ok." Mitakshi said they went back to their chamber.

In Rajamatha's chamber.

Rajamatha was talking with her sister-in-law Kavita Devi Adikari, mom of Yashasvi and wife of Vimal Adikari, Vimal is the brother of Yashoda.

"So how was your travel, Kavita.?" Yashoda asked.

"It was good, I came here to tell you something very important." Kavita said.

"What's the matter, Kavita.?" Yashoda asked.

"I talked about this with your brother also, I will come to the point, it's been more than nine months since the wedding, Mitakshi hasn't given the good news yet, why don't you show her to the priest, she may be the bad luck or she can't give birth to babies." Kavita said.

"Stop talking nonsense, Kavita." Yashoda said with a higher voice, Mitakshi was going towards her room, but then she heard the voice from the window, she stood beside the window to listen to what was happening.

"Why are you screaming.?, I'm talking logically only." Kavita said.

"Don't you dare to talk ill about my daughter in law, they are small, it's been just a few months since their marriage, and they will have kids when they want, stop giving these stupid ideas, you are just a guest here, so be like a guest here." Yashoda said, Mitakshi smiled upon hearing Yashoda's words and went from there.

During the evening, Atharv was looking after Khusthi's preparations, as the competition was going to take place tomorrow and once in six months, Mitakshi was watching the preparations from the window and saw Yashasvi was behind Atharv everywhere and,as usual Atharv ignoring her, Mitakshi felt jealous looking Yashasvi was going behind him.

Next day

Khusthi competition went well and everyone in the kingdom including ministers were busy with work, Atharv and Mitakshi were standing opposite to each other and talking about something while talking Mitakshi noticed something unusual happening behind Atharv, a man with a sword coming towards Atharv in a rage.

"Atharvvv... ." Mitakshi took a sword from Atharv's belt and pushed Athrav aside and Atharv fell aside, Mitakshi covered the sword with her hand which was about to stab Atharv, Mitakshi's hands started bleeding, but she didn't panic, she attacked that man using the sword in her hand, who came to stab Atharv and injured his legs, and the man fell on ground, everyone started panicking and started running around, Mitakshi saw a another enemy running towards Atharv, she made her hair a bun and adjusted her saree to fight, Atharv was shocked and surprised as well to see his wife's new avatar.

Mitakshi stopped another man who came to attack using a sword, she kept her sword on that man's sword and started fighting with the sword while fighting she got several cuts on her body, Atharv was just sitting on the ground and looking at his wife fighting with enemies, she was looking like a goddess with a sword in her hand for him, Atharv observed that Mitakshi is wounded very badly, blood was coming out from the few parts of her body, more enemies were coming towards them, Mitakshi is looking tired, all of these happened in a blink of eye or just in a minute.

"Atharv..." Prime minister screamed and threw the sword towards him, Atharv caught the sword in his hands and got ready to fight, he got up and he saw a guy attacking Mitakshi from the back and her back was cut diagonally, she tried to counterattack the guy, she held his collar and hit his stomach using her leg, that guy stabbed Mitakshi's left arm before he fell on the ground.

"Ahh..." Mitakshi screamed in pain and was about to fall to the ground.

"Mitakshiiii..... " Atharv ran to her and caught her by the waist, tears formed in his eyes looking at Mitakshi's state, "Please don't close your eyes, you will be fine." Atharv was trying to keep Mitakshi conscious.
The guy who attacked Mitakshi from the back, he again ran towards the Atharv, but he fell on the ground, because of an arrow, which was shot by an army chief of Rayanakonda.

Another man ran fast towards Atharv with a small knife in his hand to stab Atharv but Atharv stabbed him with a sword in his hand in anger the sword went inside of the body from the front side and came out of the body from the back side, Atharv was standing there holding Mitakshi in his one hand and sword in the other hand, which is covered with blood of the man he stabbed......
