Aiko's Perspective:  
     It's hard to let her go. My mother that is.  I know that what she did back there was for my safety and protection against her own.

"It's really hard to let go of those you love, isn't it?" I turned to see Xander staring me down, as if he can read my mind.

"I'm not thinking about that," I lied. "You sure?" I wanted him to understand that I just needed space and to think about what the prophecy was talking about. The young one that suffers the pain of her mother will be able to stop me, but at the cost of their own life. I wanted to understand it as much as I could but never understood the phrasing.

     The moonlight was the only thing that lit the path from behind the dark trees. I saw that up ahead was the ending of Xander and mine's journey. I will really miss him, but I give him the best of luck and that he will be able to find his father.

     I look at Xander and see a single tear go down his face. All I could do was hold him in the small arms I had. I know that a wolf can't hug back, but at that moment, I knew he was hugging me in spirit. After an hour or so, I let go and we said our good byes and I headed towards the town of Elatra. Maybe I will find the person that I have to look for. Copper the Engineer.
