June clenched her fists as some mini monsters ran towards her. As they pounced on her, she punched, kicked and threw them, grossed out by them but also trying to survive. Her main goal was to not fall but use the drop to her advantage. A long fight ensues, forcing June to use any resources she had to attack the monsters. Mostly thanks to Roberta, they manage to throw them all off.

Roberta: June! I found a light source at the rocky looking wall there!! I think it's the outside, we need to-!

Before she could continue, all the incubators on the walls opened, slowly, the liquid inside them pouring out into the void below and bodies that were in them flopped down and fell as well. Roberta and June blink at what just happened in confusion. Suddenly screams were heard all around that echoed on the walls.

Suddenly, the monstrous humanoid bodies emerged from below, climbing onto the conveyer belts to attack the duo, showing now that they were slightly taller than the mini monsters, their bodies slimmer and grotesque.

June: WHAT THE- 

June did NOT wanna deal with this and Roberta was already probably tired too. To save the two of them, Roberta ran to the light source to find an escape while June locks in, taking her fingerless gloves off, planning to finally use her pyrokinesis. She runs on the conveyer belt, jumping over machine boxes in the way while dodging the monsters and setting any who touch her on fire as they growl and fall in the void. June finally neared where Roberta was once standing  and saw her coming out of where she entered. 

Roberta: There's a helicopter out there, we need to hurry. 

June: Let's-

Before June could utter another word, she got knocked out by one of the monsters. Roberta yells her name but when seeing she's unconscious, she fought off the monsters near. When June opened her eyes, everything was hazy but through the blur, she could see that the place was all set ablaze. Turns out, whatever was in the end of that void was flammable and the scorching bodies that fell down ignited it, spreading the flames. Roberta came to her, exiting the light source, shaking her.

Roberta: June! The helicopter is ready, let's  go!!

June: H-Huh..? 

She sits up and notices Roberta holding a little girl's hand. The duo go into he hole where the light came from and start climbing stairs. June's brain was hazy but she started wondering how the others are doing up there in the mall and if you're doing fine then her attention snapped to the girl. She grabs the girl's arm, making Roberta look back.

Roberta: What?? What happened?

June: Are you sure she's human??

Roberta: what??

June: Look at her!! She looks like those monsters physically!!

Roberta: Clearly, she's a lot more cleaner and not grotesque as them!!

June: Go without me, I'll follow.

Roberta: JUNE-

June runs back downstairs, exiting the hole. Some alive monsters in the distance spot her and go for her but her attention was on the girl at that moment. She shook her to get her attention and the girl looked up at her.

June: You. Are you a monster or human? ANSWER ME!!

But the girl just looked up at June and smiled with her eyes closed, as if accepting her fate.

June: Tch. 

Not thinking much about it, June licked her back and stepped on her head multiple times, ensuring her death and that she couldn't follow them before running upstairs back to Roberta in the helicopter. As soon as the door shut, Roberta started the helicopter as it took off.

June: She was a monster, trust me..

Roberta: If you say so...

June: And since when could you fly a helicopter?

Roberta: Desperate times call for desperate measures..
