"There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be"

The Foreseer was having the time of his life. And he had been alive for eons. So that was saying a lot.
He felt an involuntary smile spread on his face, exposing his teeth which began poking on his lower lip, as he watched the Queen slowly recognise her lost son. He could feel the million emotions go through her, and he searched the future for what she would do next.
Well, what he saw was entertaining enough. He wished he could see it in real life, but he was trapped in his little mountain for the rest of his existence.
How sad.
"A-Augustus?" The Queen stammered. Drama, drama, drama. Always fun to watch.
He had missed such entertainment. For eons people climbed the mountains to him for trivial matters, how to cure a dying family member, whom to marry, one of them came for a copy for a question paper for the upcoming examination! Well the last one was entertaining.
But he knew he should put her out of her misery, so he interrupted the lovely reunion.
"Can we discuss the situation at hand, my Queen?" he said, after clearing his throat.
"Could you explain why I was dragged through a portal by my opal?" came the child Zarren's voice from the left.
"You will get your answers, child, have patience. Now, do you know the Prophecy?"
Everyone except for the Queen and the General shook their heads and muttered a 'no'.
He sighed and stared at The Mirror in front of them. The swirling white void. His favourite possession.
He thrust his hand out at it and some of the swirling particles began to glow silver and began making a screen.
Everyone shifted to be in front of the screen and one of the boys grunted as someone stepped on their foot. He chuckled to himself and focussed on the screen, playing the event where his friend Chaos made a lovely show for the graduates.
"The planets are going against the Sun,
The darkest time is yet to come,
Beware Neraida, Chaos is displeased,
It won't be long till the heart is deceased,
The offspring of nature must unite,
And show the heart to the dying light,
They must travel without their guides,
To the land of the dead, the land of the dried,
The land without magic, the land of lies,
They must begun their journey among the skies,
The land of darkness, the land of rocks,
To find the keys to undo the locks. "
When the clip ended, he waved his hand and the sparkling particles broke apart and got swept into the swirling white nothingness.
Everyone was looking at him now, no one spoke, all of them waiting for him to explain. Ah, he felt important.
"The Prophecy you just heard, was issued by the God's Oracle, at the time of creation of the Sydan, before it was stored in the chamber along with a very weakened, a very subdued Chaos. Now a Prophecy is a divine saying, and violating any clause can bring some serious consequences, so we have to tread carefully."
"I'm sorry but what does it have to do with us?" Rey Wolfe asked. The Foreseer looked into her future. Very foggy...hmmm.
"You are the ones chosen by Nature to complete the Prophecy of course!" The Foreseer said cheerfully, "you are the ones chosen to save the Fae."
"Hold up, we," said Avalkyra, turning her wrist around to indicate everyone, "are supposed to save everyone?"
"Pinch me, I think I'm dreaming," He hears Dai whisper to Kaito.
And then he hears an "Ow!" when Kaito pinches him.
"We are not even fully trained. Why not send some adults to take care of this? Why us?" Arbor spoke up.
"As you can see, The Sydan...is being held hostage," the Queen began.
"Is that why no one can use their powers?" Avalkyra asked.
"Wait, what?" the pink-haired boy, Augustine asked, "I can sense mine perfectly."
The Foreseer then heard a quiet voice speak, from behind the group, "The adults' power is tied to the Sydan. We have not pledged our power to it yet. We are solely responsible to nature. That is why we still have our powers."
"Well done," the Foreseer praised Kaito.
He then continued, "The realms are approaching a turning point. The planets are defying the forces of nature, they are about to line up, each casting a shadow on the one before it. It has never happened since the creation of life. When this event happens, complete disorder will spread throughout the realms. And the only one who will advantage from it, is the mighty Chaos himself. He will be at his most powerful time. If not subdued before the total eclipse, Chaos could consume all the nine realms and the entire universe."
He smiled to himself, feeling a surge of importance as he had everyone's undivided attention.
"Now Chaos knows that we are the biggest threat to him. And so he decided to get us under his control at once. His powers grew enough to break away from the shackles that the forefathers placed on him, and he took the Sydan under his control. However he is not powerful enough to break free of the chamber where he is stored. He will be, in one summer, when the total eclipse will happen. You need to get to the chamber before this dark time, and get the Sydan out of his grasp or all you Fae are completely doomed."
There was moment of complete silence after his monologue.
"Could you...pinch me again?" he heard Dai's whisper again and chuckled to himself when Kaito just scowled in return.
"So we got one summer to travel to I don't even know where, and fight an immortal powerful force which was here way before we were even created, without having complete control over our powers?" Augustus asks.
The Foreseer shrugged, "You need to find the seven keys to the chamber before that."
"Oh my. What if we refuse to do this?" Augustine asks.
"Child your destiny was sealed even before you left your mother's womb. I hate to say this but you have no choice. Even if you decide not to go, Nature will find a way to get you going. Now it's your choice to go prepared or get dragged into it when you least expect it."
"So we have no choice, and the adults have no powers. Fantastic," said Zarren.
"What's so fantastic about that?" Minakshi asked innocently. The Foreseer had begun to like her.
"Well, what about our training? It's incomplete," Coralline squeaks. The Foreseer could hear her heart beating loudly, like saying the sentence took the most courage she could muster.
"You need to begin the journey in the skies, that must definitely mean-"
The Foreseer interrupted the queen quickly, "No! My Queen the Prophecy clearly states we cannot help the children with the problem. It's upto them to figure it out."
"You just explained the first half of the Prophecy to us," Augustine pointed out.
He sneered at the boy, "I simply explained the situation, I didn't help you out as such."
The Queen and the General both raised their eyebrows at him and he just glared back at them.
"Skies...but that's a huge domain," Kaito begins.
"What about the Palace of the Aurae? We have a portal to that realm here in Neraida," Rachelle said.
"Correct!" The Foreseer claps his hands.
"The portal to the Palace opens up at dawn at the beginning of every month. That gives us three days before the portal opens up again," General Atticus began.
"Will three days be enough to train them?" the Queen asked.
"I will try my absolute best," the General replied, with a slight bow.
"Hold up, shouldn't we discuss what the other places might be and what exactly we'll have to even do, to get the keys?"
"That's upto you to find out," The Foreseer says with a shrug, "My services end here."
"What do you mean your services end here?" The Queen questions angrily.
"That is all I can offer, and I'm going to need my payment."
The Queen frowned and chucked a bag of rubies towards his face. Blood-red rubies, shining menacingly in the moonlight. His absolute favorite.
"I think you should go back and address the crowds. The amount of unrest in the provinces," he said with a smile, "I love it, but I'm certain you don't."
The Queen just sighed, "Yes, there is a lot to be done. That too, without the help of my powers."
"One more question," Lia speaks out, pointing towards Augustus, "Why haven't we ever heard of him if he is a Soul User?"
The Queen and General share a look and the Foreseer chuckled loudly.
Drama.
So much drama.
Oh he was loving this.

So how was the chapter? I tried to include every character. Early update cuz I had too many chapters piled up so why not give you all a small treat?
Anyways the third person chapters are always painfully short but the ones with the POVs are gonna be long as hell, don't you worry about that.
Anyways all of you should know that Fridays will be guaranteed uploading days, you *will* get a chapter on that day, but sometimes in between I might just upload for the heck of it.
