MADELYN POV
I finally made it to the place where we find out our powers. That was the longest drive of my life. When I walked into the building I saw Samara, trinity, Dakota, Jenna,etc... The whole group was here. I'm glad that we're all finding out our powers at the same time instead of one at a time. I wish my mom was here to see me get my powers. My mom was a really beautiful woman she had Long red wavy hair, blue eyes w/ red specks just like mine. She had Creme colored skin. She was very nice. My dad says I look just like her. My dad is really nice too but sometimes can be very stubborn. My dad works a lot, he works at headquarters, but my dad always has time for me. "Hey Madelyn doesn't the power ceremony start in like 10 minutes". "Wow that not a lot of time I'm so nervous". Samara said. "I'm so excited about the fact that we get to have powers". Trinity said. "Guys I can't wait for us to get out powers and I'm so nervous". I said. Then we all just started laughing. While we were chatting for a while I realized we only had 2 minutes left until our power ceremony and you guys are probably wondering what a power ceremony is. Well a power ceremony is where you go to this tall building ,and there are all these different areas like there is an area for the boys and an area for the girls. Well when you get to your area you are called up to the stage and they go by element, then they give you this type of crystal that you have to eat, and it has all your powers that the leaders of your elements want you to have. When I looked over at the clock I saw that it was time to go and get my powers. We all go in order by element and my element was picked first. When I walked into the power ceremony room I saw everyone from the Fire element community was here. To be honest I am nervous as hell. I never seen anyone get there powers before even though it's just a crystal that you have to eat it's kind of scary. "Welcome everyone to the power choosing ceremony!, today we will be giving Madelyn Santiago her powers in order for her to become a leader or a hero which ever one she chooses later on in life". Said Evelyn Thomas the leader of the Fire community. "Are you ready Madelyn to get your powers?". I nodded I'm still very nervous. I walked over to the table that was in the middle of the room. I carefully looked at the crystal that was on a stand. It was Red and yellow mixed together. It looked really pretty. "Madelyn in order for you to get your powers you have to eat this Crystal and yes it's edible, after you eat the crystal you have to drink something hot like tea or coffee". I nodded. I grabbed a cup of Green Tea and sat back down. I feel nervous about this because everyone is staring at me. I pick up the Small Crystal and put it in my mouth and chew it slowly. The crystal doesn't taste good at all probably that's why they told us to drink something after we ate the crystal. When I finished the crystal and drank the Tea my body felt different. When I looked down I saw that I was glowing red. Everyone Gasped and I looked around confused. "Oh my god I can't believe it". Evelyn said. "What?! What is it?". I asked. "You're very special Madelyn". She said. I looked at her confused and she started to explain to me that I have really strong powers and that I'm made to be a Leader. I was shocked. When I was done I went back into the waiting room with my friends and then the next person was called which was Samara.

Samara's POV
When my name was called I froze. I'm nervous as hell because I'm not sure that I can handle all of this power I'm about to be given. When I walked into the room I saw everyone one from the Earth Element community. Then the leader Of The Community came in. I was sitting at the table when he came over and sat down this Light Green and Brown Crystal. "Hello Samara today you will be getting your powers and having these powers means having a big responsibility are you sure you can handle this?". He said. I nodded. "Samara would you like Tea Or Coffee?". "Uh Tea please". I said. He nodded and went to go make the tea. I wonder what powers I'm getting. He came back after being gone for about 2 minutes. I pick up the Crystal. Here We go I mentally say to myself and I put the crystal in my mouth.

Hey Guys sorry I haven't been active with this story in a while and I thought that I should at least post a chapter. This chapter will be split into Two parts and the next part will be up by at least Tomorrow morning or tonight it depends on how I'm feeling.
