One of the chambers in the Dragon's Maw caves was a disorganized chaos. Moonbeam was doing her best to fend off the oncoming AncientClaws. While the AncientClaws were old, there was five of them, and they were selected for the message to Queen Snowpaw because they were skilled in their abilities, and were some of the youngest AncientClaws. Moonbeam, however, was still a trainee, and only a single cat.
The PulseClaw stood behind the other cats, constantly firing at Moonbeam, who had to duck and dodge. The PlantClaw had started to wrap the branches of the small bush around Moonbeam's legs, but Moonbeam created a small storm and used lightning to burn the bush dead. No PlantClaw could heal that, so the PlantClaw quickly tried to grow a tree into the cave, but his power didn't work from that distance, so he turned to the small weeds that grew in the cave, which Moonbeam easily avoided. The InfernoClaw appeared to have the foot high wall of fire skill, so he guarded the exit to the cave, which Moonbeam could easily jump, even though probaly singing her fur in the progress, but then it was already black. The TsunamiClaw was having no luck at all. At first she tried using the small puddles of water as the start for tsunamis, but there was not enough water to harm Moonbeam other than disturbing the surface of the water. The PlantClaw, seeing this, tried to release the moisture from the cave mosses, but to no avail.
The two cats launched themselvves at Moonbeam, momentarily stunned by this sudden action. This allowed time for one of the electric bolts to hit Moonbeam, rooting her in place for a second. The TsunamiClaw gave a swift blow to Moonbeam's head, knocking her out cold.
