Good news and bad news. Good news, I did not get knocked out. Bad news is that Moonbeam had snuck up on me and was now laughing hysterically in my face, rolling on the ground with no signs of stopping. Five minutes later, when Moonbeam was out of breath and panting, calmly stated,
"I am done now. Oh, and hi, Firestorm."
"How did you know that I was here?" a mystified Firestorm padded out of the undergrowth.
"You should know by now not to try that on me. Also, you kind of singed the leaves as you were walking making a crinkly noise."
"Oh."
"How is life in the PulseClaws going for you?"
"Well, Joltingbolt looks at me with a peculiar glare, and the PulseClaws are offering a reward for the cat to bring my head to them, preferably with no body attatched. The usual. Anyways, what is happpening in the InfernoClaws? Your tribe is so secluded no one knows if they are non existent or thriving."
"We are doing fine. And yes each cat seems to live in an alternate universe they are so secluded."
This was the only way I could survive being in the worst tribe if you are a white furred cat living on Elemental Island. We all met by pure luck when we were all hunting solo at the same time where the StormClaw, InfernoClaw, and PulseClaw borders met. We talked, and then decided to meet on the new moon to avoid being caught. No tribe allowed unathourized cats out of camp at night, and no friendly unofficial meetings with members from other tribes was allowed, no way.
"We better get going. The moon is sinking, and we don't want to get caught. Next new moon?"
"I thought that was just engraved in my routine that was happening we have been meeting for so long," Moonbeam rolled her eyes.
"I wish we could meet more often." Firestorm ignored Moonbeam. "Oh well."
We all said are good byes as I dreaded what the next day had in store. I slowly slunk back to my sleeping hollow, looking like had been sleeping all night soundly as I watched the sun rise and the sky turned blood red.
