Chapter 13
Chapter 13: Series of unexpected feelings?
I put on my black mask with a silver design around it. I adjusted it over my eyes. I walked inside happy to see the person at the gate was busy having pastries. I smirked as my eyes scanned to place for a curtain brunette in a black gown. I looked around as I followed a few guys stare who were being dragged by his date but his eyes stayed glued on the brunette in black dress.
I rushed towards her, pushing away the urge to killing every single one of the guys who were staring at her. She was standing along, deep in thought. By the look on her face, she wasn't thinking about anything good. She looked like she is gonna cry any minute.
I slowed my pace, but Christina didn't seem to notice me yet. I sighed as I jogged towards her and grabbed her hand as I dragged her into dance. I could feel people glaring at the back of my head, I just smirked at myself.
"Noah..." I heard Christina say, I turned around and looked at her. I remember, I told her she was looking pretty before she left the apartment. Scratch that, she was looked breathtaking. I don't blame those guys for staring at Christina, I would have done the same thing but it doesn't matter. Cause I get to dance with her.
"Let's dance!" I yelled over the loud music as my blue eyes stared at her chocolate brown once. My eyes didn't leave hers as he both danced around the dance floor. Mel and Reese seemed to notice their best friends dancing but we were too busy to notice them. We were in our world.
"Noah what are you doing here!?" Christina asked over the music.
"What does it look like I am doing!? I am dancing." I said. "Did you expect me to watch 'Supernaturals' after knowing you are going to cry your eyes out for being without a date."
"I wasn't gonna cry my eyes out!" Christina yelled at I just laughed at her.
"Well, you were about to cry about something and we will talk about that later. For now let's dance" I said as Christina smiled, a smile I miss seeing.
The dance carried on and the song changed one after another. We did mistakes while dancing but it didn't matter to either of us. All it mattered that she was enjoying.
"Thank you," Christina said as I just only smiled at her.
I suddenly remember my conversation with Kylar a few days ago.
"I heard Christina is going with Theo, to the party," Kylar said as he pilled his banana.
"So what am I supposed to do?" I said I sipped my coffee.
"How dense are you?" Kylar asked as I looked at him.
"Aren't you the one who said that 'he will make everything right for Christina'," Kylar said?
"I am trying! And if you are so worried about Christina's date then you go yourself!" I said.
"Well, Noah Robert Grey if you don't go as Christina's date, I will throw you into a closet and kept you locked up here for your whole life!" Kylar smiled.
"The threat is quite lame but coming from you, I don't wanna test it," I muttered then suddenly I realized.
"How do you know my middle name!?" I yelled.
"I know everything Noah, everything." He said as I just looked at Kylar weirdly.
After the dance, Christina and I walked back as Mel and Reese came towards us. Kylar also showed up as well.
"Look who showed up!" Reese said as I just glared at my friend.
"I would like to continue this conversation later," I whispered to Reese who just gives me a knowing look.
Mel was bugging Christina like they always did. "So are you and Noah a thing yet?"
"Mel!? What the heck! Never!" Christina said as she waved her hand.
"We are technically betting on you guys," Reese chuckled.
"What? You better not Reese Elian!" Christina yelled at him and he laughed.
"How long do you plan to stay here?" I asked.
"Not sure, as long the party stays," Mel answered.
"What about you?" I turned towards Christina.
"We can leave if you want to, its dance is over and I think that's it, see you later." I took Christina's hand as we walked out. Her hands were small compared to mine. Our fingers were intertwined together, fitting in like a piece of a puzzle.
"Noah," Christina said as she points at our hands with her free one.
"Oh," I said as I let her go. I took my mask off and she took hers.
"Do you wanna head home or someplace else?" I asked.
"Well, I came with Theo so I don't have my car with me." She told me.
"All I want to go somewhere else! But where?" She asked as I chuckled.
"Very well, Christina Adair. Get ready to be surprised." I smirked at her as we both climbed into my car.

I stopped the car, as both Christina and I walked out. She started at the place in awe. We were far from the city, the lighting in the city looks so small. The stars were shining in the sky. There were not at many stars up there but it looked pretty. The road we were on was the road leading out of the city. A few cars came in and went out otherwise the place was empty. Either side of the road was a widow.
"It's so pretty," Christina said.
"Yeah it's beautiful as you," I said as Christina laughed.
"Flirty, aren't we tonight?" She said as I chuckled.
"It's your fault for looking pretty," I said as we walked around staring at the night sky.
"Sorry, I should have looked ugly" Christina laughed.
"Nah, I like you this way better," I said. "Ready for the next place?"
"There is more?" She asked.
"Just one more place before we go home," I said as we get into the car once more.

We drove into the city once more as we stopped in front of a park. We got out of the car as she looked at me with a confused look.
We walked inside as I led the way, at the center of the park was a lake. The park mostly stays crowded in the day times, but now it's empty. The tall trees here and there make the place look scary in the darkness. We stopped in front of the lake as Christina leaned on the railing surrounding it.
"The place is pretty and spooky as well," Christina said.
"Are you here to tell me you are a werewolf or something?" Christina asked as I just looked at her.
"Sorry to disappoint you, I am not a werewolf," I said as Christina faked sadness.
"Vampire?" Christina asked again as I laughed.
"Nope, just a human," I said.
"That sucks," she said as I agreed with her.
"So you like a children's park," she said as I stared at the lake.
"Nah, just the lake," I said as I watched my reflection on the dark water move as the water repels.
"Reese told me something about you being the only child in the family," she said as I looked at her. Why did Reese end up talking about shit like that?
"Yeah, they got divorced and I ended up living with my mom, she is a nice person though she can be scary sometimes," I said.
"Oh, I would love to meet someone who can make Noah Grey scared" Christina laughed.
"Please don't. She will probably think that you are the imaginary girlfriend I always tell her about and end up doing wedding plans." I stared at her in complete horror at the horrific scenario.
"So your imaginary girlfriend looks like me?" She asked.
"I never said that, she is just a type of girl with everything good," I said.
"So she doesn't know about the 'no-strings-attached thing'?" She asked.
"Never! I don't wanna die young. I am way too pretty to die young!" I said mimicking the voice of an excited teenage girl.
"Shut up you blond olf" Christina laughed as I just chuckled.
"It's fun to have normal conversations with you, but having to spend the rest of my life with you is a terrible nightmare." She said as I laughed.
"Christina, are you happy?" I asked looking at her.
"I am, why do you ask No--"
"Christina?" A voice called from behind us as we turned to see a guy of the same height as I am a brown hair and brown eyes similar to Christina's eyes. He had a brown paid suit on as if he just walked out of a business meeting.
"JAZ!?" Christian yelled as she turned around and looked at the person who was now standing in front of us.
"Who are you to Christina?" He asked me, completely ignoring Christina.
"I am her r---"
"He is my boyfriend!" She yelled.
I am her WHAT!?
