Chapter 14
[King's POV]
Days passed peacefully, It's as if the war already ended. Or so I thought until now. Today, I was about to bring Kuro her food, so I knocked thrice and wait for a response.
After waiting for a while, I decided to just open the door to check what was wrong. What I didn't expect is a broken window, and Kuro's disappearance.
I floated quickly down stairs, calling Captain as I floated down. He hummed at me in response.
"Kuro.... she is gone." I said as the sins present widens their eyes as Meliodas quickly ran upstairs pushing those in his ways, his face shows worry.
He slowed his pace in front of the opened door. Looking at her room, looking every angle for a single trace of Kuro.
"Did she remember? No. If she did, knowing Kuro, she would atleast left an aggresive note. So she was kidnapped!?" I said to my self as I looked at Meliodas's eyes.
"True. She would do that or atleast cause some trouble. It's Kuro we are talking about. So she was kidnapped? By who?" Captain said as he thinks to himself. His face then shows shock as he seem to know who the kidnapper is.
"It can't be them, right? Why would they want Kuro?" I asked, finally understanding what his look means.
Captain shook his head even more. "Even though she lost her memories, she still have humongous power. She just doesn't know how to use it."
"..." I stay in silence then spoke up. "We must take her back! What if they hurt her or even worse, kill her?" I said panicking.
"Calm down, he won't let them kill her." Captain said as I quickly responded with a question, "He?" I asked but he stayed in silence.
"Anyway, we can't take her back now. Our power against them has too much difference. We wouldn't stand a chance." He said, way too calm for a person who got his sister kidnapped.
"Why are you so calm about this? I knew it. You don't even care about her, do you? You just don't know the pain of losing a sister." I said clicking my tongue as I looked at him with distaste and floated away.
"Wait." He said, pulling my hand. I turned around as I said coldly, "What?". "Where are you going? You can't be thinking of saving her?" He said as my blood boiled and I lost my cool.
"So what if I am? Aren't you supposed to do the same. Meliodas, You are her brother." I said, glaring him as I pulled my hands out.
I floated away, but stopped as I hear a scream, "Do you really think I don't want to save her too!?" Captain said in frustation as I turned around to see him clenching his fist tightly and tears falling slowly. His body shivering.
"Do you really think I don't care? I do.. I really do." He said softly as he clenched his fist tighter.
"So why?" I asked in frustation and clenched my fist in anger. My eyes slanted, glaring at him with anger shown in them.
"Because it is a trap! We all will die. I know they might hurt her. But, I know they won't kill her. Even though, I am her brother. I am also your captain. I can't just lead us to disaster out of spontaneous feelings." He said as more tears falling from his cheeks to the ground.
"Geez. I thought I am supposed to be the crybaby here." I said scratching my neck, feeling a bit guilty as my glare softened.
"I know you are worried for her, thank you. But, I know she will be alright. He wouldn't dare to hurt nor kill her. The problem is just the others, but they won't disobey his orders." He said with, making me want to believe him.
"She is okay. Let's just believe that. We need to get her back. But, we have to get stronger first. Tomorrow we are going to the druids again to train. I know it's hard for you, who is close to her. It's hard for me too, to act as if nothing has happened. But we need to focus on training, so we could take her back." He added.
His body posture straightened up as he looked stern, his cheeks stained from his tears, but he ignored it and stared right at my eyes.
"Fine, I will believe you for now." I said sternly as I stopped floating towards the window and turned back to my room to rest.

"You haven't eaten breakfast, right? Here, some food." The black haired guy said as he handed me a plate of fried rice.
I took the plate hesitantly. Those guys suddenly broke the window and just knocked me out. The moment I woke up, I was no longer in my room.
"Um.. where am I? Who are you?" I asked to the guy, my voice shaking and I can tell my vision becoming blurry from tears slowly filling my eyes. My body kept shaking.
I looked down, scared of whatever face he is making. Scared of whatever he is doing, his hands went in my vision and cupped my cheeks.
"Did you really forget? About everything?" He said, tilting my head so my eyes locked with his. His eyes also watery, actually I think he is crying, but I don't think it is because of fear.
My instinct told me to stay away from him. Far, far away. To take this as a chance and run away. But, when I saw his eyes full of sadness, his sad frown.
I couldn't help it but felt pity and worry. "... Uhm. Are you okay?" I asked full of worry, my fear and anxiety washed away.
"You did... You forgot everything. Didn't you?" He said, crying louder and louder. I peeked over his shoulder to see more people, whose faces seems awfully familiar.
I guess I know them all? All of their faces and his voice sounds so familiar. But I just couldn't put my finger on it.
"I knew you guys? Who are you all to me?" I asked, curious as I looked back at him. "And no.. I am sorry. I forgot. I am so sorry.. Don't cry." I added as tears still flow.
"Don't cry. I am sorry.." I said as I wiped his tears. "S-M-I-L-E," I said as I used my finger as I forms my lips to a wide smile.
"Smile.." He repeated as he tried to smile. But what formed is a stiff smile, as if a pixelated one. Burst of laughs escaped my small mouth.
"Pfft! You look like a robot! No-I think a robot can smile even better!" I exclaimed. He, who heard it then chuckled along with me. I felt relieved that he finally stopped crying.

"So, basically you forgot every thing. Like, every thing?" He asked, to make sure.
"Yep! I just remember my name, nothing else." I said cheerfuly, feeling no longer hatred, because he seemed to be friendly.
He suddenly hugged me as my eyes widens in shock. I felt tears on my shirt, I let out a sigh and hugged him back as I rubbed his back gently.
"It's okay.. I am here," I said gently as I continued rubbed his back in a random pattern. I felt him cry even louder, I don't know why, but this seems kinda familiar.
'Meh... My memories aren't really important right now. Actually, I am okay not having any memories.' I thought as I shrugged off my previous thought.
