Chapter Four

(A/N): So there are two parts of this chapter. One is The Arrival which (Y/N)'s father arrived from a business trip and her brother from a camping trip with his friends. While Shirtless Princes is the second part which (Y/N) saw Arthur Kirkland, and Alfred Jones doing their workout session while they're shirtless at the gym. Unfortunately, she isn't lucky that she didn't saw Ludwig shirtless.

At Alfred's room...

Alfred's POV

I locked myself in my own room and I'm not in the mood to linger around the palace or even at the garden. Why in the world did I kissed her?! Is it because of her soft pink lips? Or it because of the ice cream on the corner of her lips?

"I'm too embarrassed to just show up to them and talk about the kiss I made with (Y/N) a bit ago." I squeezed my pillow tightly.

I should make an apology letter to (Y/N) as soon as her fever gets normal, or I should apologize to her face to face.

From the moment I saw her at the ceremony yesterday, I remembered the time I kissed the back of her hand, I realized that my heart was beating so fast that my blood pressure would go up at any moment.

I even know that she likes me because of the rumors I heard. Why? Every time I stare at her beautiful (E/C) eyes, my heart skips a beat and my cheeks always heat up when she's close to me. Is this...fate?

I climbed out of my bed and went to the bathroom for a shower to release my thoughts about the girl I like.

I went out of the shower room with my golden blue bathrobe around me. I still can't get over the kiss. When I kissed her, her lips tasted like (F/F) and I can still taste it every time I lick my lip. It was...sweet.

Arthur's POV

This can't be possible, he has a liking to my (Y/N). He even kissed her or just my imagination but even though I treated him like a brother, I don't want to let him take her away from me.

I love (Y/N)...

So much...

"Hello? Are you there?" A hand waved literally in front of me. I slapped it way, causing a French person to flinch.

"Stop doing that."

"Wait, what's wrong with you lately? You've been acting like a madman since you heard Alfred said that he kissed (Y/N)." Francis points a spoon at me while sipping his red wine. "You do know that (Y/N) likes Alfred and not you?"

I paused.

"Yes, I do know about that." I went to the balcony and exhaled deeply. "But why? Why him? What does Alfred have that I don't have?"

"The ATTITUDE." I heard Ludwig say in a philosophical voice. "That's your problem."

"You've been always a sharp tongue to anyone until you met (Y/N). Since the day you saw her, you've been so kind and careful of your words. Even to her." The Japanese said as he polish his ancient vase.

"Wait a sec-aru, if Alfred likes her, and you like her-aru, that means..." Wang says while balancing on a large stick.

"You're right, Yao. It's a "Love Triangle"." Ivan said between light squeals and chuckles.

"How is that possible?" I ask.

"Let me explain." Francis cleared his throat before explaining. "Love Triangle is a kind of relationship when two boys love the same girl or two girls love the same boy and they will fight each other to win the girl/boy's heart."

"So, do I need to fight him to win her heart?" I ask as I shrug.

"No, no. Not literally, that 'fight' is just like a challenge. You can show off, treat her on a date, go somewhere, and so on without him noticing you." 

"You mean courtship?"

"Probably like that."

This means war, ALFRED.

Your POV

Your mom went inside with a bowl of (F/S) on her hands. Even it was hot, she didn't mind it, though.

"Here, your favorite soup for my little princess."

"Thanks Mom."

"Better eat it before it gets cold. I don't want your fever get worse."
You quickly ate it until it's empty, causing you to burp loudly. Oops.

Your sister barged into your room and said, "What was that?!"

"I burped." You began to laugh and a burp could be heard again. LOUD. "Excuse me."

"Bless you."

After hours of sleeping, your fever was gone and your condition is back to normal. You picked the wet and warm towel on your forehead and placed it on the small basin as you got up from bed.

You heard snoring and looked who it was...

(S/N) sleeping in a spiderlike position.

"Still sleepyhead as always." You chuckled and stood up as you looked at the time on the clock.

9:00 pm?!

You rushed to the kitchen and saw your mum preparing (F/f), instead of jump scaring her, you just showed up.

"(Y/N), I have something to tell you." She walks up to you and held your two cold hands. "It's about your father and your brother."

You miss your father and your brother so much. You wanted to see them so bad but there are no chances.

"What is it?"

"They're coming back. Your father and your brother is coming back."

Tears fell from your eyes.

"When? When will they come back?"

"Tomorrow morning. Don't tell your sister about this." You nodded. "Now eat your dinner, but not too much."

"Okay Mum."

"That's my girl." She hugged you tightly and soon pulled away as she went off to her room.

You finished eating your 'dinner' and you were about to back to your room when a knock on the door could be heard.

"Knocking this late at night?!" You muttered and decided to open the door without checking who's the knocker of it.

You did open the door and saw the tall German prince standing before you, still wearing his royal outfit. His illuminating icy blue eyes piercing into yours.

You snapped back into reality. "Y-Your Highness— I mean, Ludwig. What brings you here this late at night?" You ask as you bow at him.

He looks away and rubbed the back of his neck as his cheeks slowly became pink.

"Um...would you...like to...see the stars? Where we met?" His cheeks became a bit redder than before.

"I'd love to but, what about my mum and my sister?"

"D-Don't worry, I've sent some guards to protect them. Now c-come with me or I'll change my mind." He stutters, his cheeks became crimson red.

His muscular hand clutched your wrist lightly as you walk towards the path to the small hill where you and Ludwig first met.

While walking, you saw a firefly floating around you and it landed on your raised hand. Not a minute later, tons of fireflies started to float with their bulbs lit.

"Wow. How romantic! I've never seen these fireflies this many!" Ludwig looks at you as you smile, making the German's face go red as a tomato. You began walking again, he didn't even let go of your hand. You realized what's going on so you speak up.

"Ludwig, do you have a liking to me? Every time I'm around you, you always seemed to be flustered."

His eyes widen, "Y-Yes. No! I mean, yes but no!" He sighed. "I just...I like you...more than a friend."

Your eyes widen at his statement. You couldn't believe what you just heard. He...likes you?

"I just wanted to be friends with you. Every person I see they said I look scary even when I look at their eyes. But when the first time my eyes met yours, my heart suddenly fluttered. How do you stir these feelings inside of me? Did you...cast a spell on me?" He asks as held his hands onto yours as he looks deeply into your eyes.

"I...don't know what to say." You look down. You felt your head going upwards and saw those hypnotizing blue eyes again which made you melt.

"It's okay if you don't want to answer...but, we're still friends right?" The German smiled as you nod, making your cheeks turn pink which he didn't notice.

He looked around and the glowing fireflies were gone.

"I'll walk you home, you're probably tired by now." His hand again held yours, commencing an HHWW mode, again.

The two of you arrived at your house and the German prince lets go of your hand and said, "I should get going," You were about to enter your house when "But first...can you kiss me as... 'See you tomorrow'?" He asks shyly.

'He's kinda cute when he's shy.'

You walked towards him and stood up using your toes and kissed his cheek, resulting in an instant RED spreading on his face.

"Sweet dreams, Ludwig." You say as you went inside. The German and his guards holding a torch soon walked away.

You closed the door behind you and a shriek could be heard from behind you.

"So, how is it like being with Prince Ludwig? Did he propose to you?" It was your mum squealing as she shakes your sister nonstop.

Poor (S/N).

"You...saw that?!" You widen your eyes and your cheeks flared.

"All of it!"

"Let's talk about this tomorrow." You yawned and went to your own room while your mum and your sister went to their room with happiness on their faces.

Tonight was very sudden. First, your father and brother are going back from an expedition or something. Second, which is the German who confessed his feelings but you didn't accept it, yet. You still have to decide who are going to choose.

"*Sigh*Today is my lucky day. Better wake up early to water my plants." You say and drifted off to sleep.

Ludwig's POV

"You can go now." And then the two guards behind me walked away and opened the giant door of the dining area.

"Ludwig! Where were you? We've been looking everywhere for you!" Kiku exclaimed, causing everyone, icluding the King and the Queen to look at my direction.

"I just went to the garden for some fresh air." I lied. I hope they're buying it.

"It's okay, at least you exhaled all of your negative energy. Come join us." The Queen offered.

"Sorry, your Majesty. I'm still full." I say, "If you excuse me." I bowed then walked past them as I went upstairs then towards my room.

When I got there, I went to my study table and wrote my daily essay or should I say...DIARY on a piece of paper on my notebook with a feather pen.

Dear Diary,

Today, I confessed my feelings to a girl named (Y/N) and I'm so happy about it but she needs to think about it because she's not ready for this kind of relationship. But the problem is, I have two rivals. One, a British prince named Arthur Kirkland and the other, an American prince named Alfred Jones will be my rivals. How can I win (Y/N)'s heart when these two h*es are on the way? I feel jealous.

After I wrote my daily essay, I hid my notebook under my pillow to prevent someone from looking at the contents inside.

I sighed happily, "I wish (Y/N) will accept my confession." I flopped down on my bed and drifted off to sleep.

*RING!*

I pressed the button on my alarm clock as I sat up on my bed. My hair was a mess and a drool started falling from my mouth, I picked up a piece of tissue from my dresser and wiped the drool out of my face.

"Yuck." I muttered as I glance at my alarm clock...

7:00 am.

"Still as usual." I rubbed my eyes and got up from bed. I lifted my shirt up. "Hm, I need a workout at the gym." I changed my clothes onto a casual one.

Black muscle shirt and a pair of my military shorts above the knee.

Remember... It's a modern day story.

I put some deodorant on so I don't smell terrible around the villagers. I grabbed my jacket and wore it in case it's very cold outside. I went to the dining area and saw the King and Queen only eating.

I guess the others are still sleeping.

"Oh, Ludwig. Still early as usual." The king said as he took a sip of his coffee.

"Sorry to interrupt, your Majesties but I'm in a hurry, so if you excuse me." I bowed and went off.

"Looks like he's going somewhere for fresh air, probably?" - Queen

"I like the way you think." - King

"Oh you~" The Queen giggled as they continued to eat their early breakfast.

When I got out of the palace building, I started to warm up by jogging and went through the opened gate. I jog past some bushes and I found an apple tree then my stomach grumbled.

I easily reached an apple and took a bite of it.

"I'll eat this while I jog to the gym." I mumble and started jogging again.

Your POV

You finished eating your Blueberry pancakes and so your mum and your sister. You heard the door being knocked by something or someone.

"Must be your father and brother."

"Really mum?"

"I don't know. Go open it."

You ran to the door and peeked at the hole. You were right. You quickly opened it and hugged them tightly.

"Father! Brother! I miss you so much!" There are tears falling from your eyes. Soon, (S/N) joined the hug.

"My daughters, I miss you two, so much." Your father hugged back, you soon pulled away and hugged your brother tightly.

"My beautiful sisters!" He giggled as he hugs you back and soon pulled away.

They went inside with their sleepy looks and fell onto the couch.

"Mum, I forgot. I still need to water my flowers and plants."

"Okay, sweetie."

While you're watering your plants using your gardening dress and a gardening hat on your head, you heard loud squealing and you went out of the garden.

You were a bit irritated at the girls who were squealing that loud so you plugged your headphones and turned the music full blast. You liked the track you chose.

You felt yourself being shaken like crazy and you saw Ruby made a toothy grin on her face and said,

"(Y/N)! You won't believe this!" She pulls you by the arm and you have no choice but to follow her.

You went through the crowd of screaming women and when you found the source why the heck are they screaming it's because of a certain German with sleek blond hair walking towards the gym beside the convenience store three blocks away from your house.

Why would he go to a gym when he has his own gym? Wait, his room is neither a gym nor a yoga place.

He was about to walk in when he saw you standing between the crowd of women and you flushed red.

'Oh my GOD! He's so hot as hell!'

He tilted his head in confusion. The more closer he walks towards you, the louder the screams they made. You would've fainted by now...from his masculinity and his hotness.

Ludwig was now standing in front of you.

"H-Hi (Y/N). D-Did you sleep well? I-I hope you did." He laughed nervously as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Hm. Thank you for showing me the fireflies. I really love it." You look down to hide your tomato face. You look up again and said, "Say, why are you here? Are you walking around the village?"

"Oh, I was about to enter the gym when I saw your beautiful face. That's all." He looks away making your cheeks heated up.

'Why did he complemented me all of a sudden?! But his body is so DANG!'

"I gotta do my workout. See you later, (Y/N)." He waves a hand as he went inside.

"All right ladies, *clap clap* get out! Go home! Get lost! Shoo, shoo!" Ruby exclaimed as the crowd of ladies went off in annoyance.

Once they're gone, you sighed deeply in relief.

"Ruby, let's go inside without him noticing us."

"Sure! (S/N), go water the flowers and plants while we are watching Prince Ludwig's muscles."

"Again?!" (S/N) raised her voice in shock.

"I'll give you a lot of chocolate bars since you fast metabolism." You shrugged.

"Deal." And then your sister ran off.

You and Ruby went straight inside the gym to see Ludwig wearing earplugs connected to his phone and started to play his favorite music.

"Ludwig is so dreamy, right Ruby? Ruby?" You asked, she points a finger at someone. Your eyes widen.

Alfred and Arthur.

"What the?!" You muttered.

You never saw these two princes shirtless before. Alfred was doing a workout for the biceps and Arthur was doing a workout for the abdomen. Ludwig (who is not shirtless) used the treadmill first and started running on it.

"I'm sick of standing outside the gym. (Y/N), let's go inside for a better view of their sweaty bodies." You flushed even redder.

Ruby frowned and pushed you forcefully by the back. Because of her forceful push, you ended up tripping on the foot of an equipment and flew towards someone.

BAM!

"That hurts." You muttered and opened your eyes slowly to see an American with blond hair and lapis lazuli eyes whose face is inches apart from yours. You can feel his heart racing as his body made you melt.

Your eyes and his eyes widened and you quickly stood up, dusting your clothes.

"I-I'm so sorry, y-your Highness for bumping into you." You stuttered and look down in embarrassment.

(Y/N) looked up and she was standing in front of the sweaty bodies of the three princes.

Alfred noticed her heavy breathing and she's shaking because of her nervousness.

'Crap! What should I do? What should I do? What should I do?'

She can't hold it anymore.

"Excuse me, your Highnesses!" She instantly ran off leaving them confused.

"What's (Y/N) gotten into? She's extremely shy today." Arthur frowned and continued to use the equipment without glancing at Alfred.

When (Y/N) got out of the building, she immediately shook Ruby like crazy.

"Why the heck did you do that?!" She growled and Ruby only squealed.

"I'll set this picture as wallpaper." She snickered and started running away from her. (Y/N) knows what "picture" she said a second ago so she chased after her.

She's been chasing Ruby for about 30 minutes around the whole village and ended up panting heavily and she need to find water. Luckily, she found a tree and rested on the shadows. It was quite relieving but she is still thirsty and she desperately needed something to drink.

"Need something to drink? You must be thirsty." A man spoke with a bottle of water in his hands in front of her in a Russian accent.

Quickly, she snatched it and opened the lid and once the rim landed on her lips, she instantly emptied the full but now empty water bottle.

She looked up at Ivan whose face was a bit shocked of what she did. "Sorry... for... drinking... your... water, your Highness." She continued to pant again.

Ivan picked something from the pocket of his coat (even though the sunlight hits him) and placed it on her ear.

"A sunflower?"

"Da. For a beautiful flower like you."

Her cheeks flushed red at his statement. He leans forward and tucks her messy bangs on her ear as he takes a closer look on her (E/C) eyes. His right eye closed because of something shiny.

Out of eight princes, four of them likes (Y/N) including Ivan which she didn't know about it.

Her friend Ruby appeared out of the blue and saw her friend being kissed by the Russian prince. (Imagination alert!)

"Oh God, Lordy no!" She took about ten pictures of different angles. "Gotta send this to the others." She snickered and ran off.

Meanwhile~

Arthur and Alfred finished using their equipment while Ludwig was using the barbel as a workout for his chest and biceps. "I saw (Y/N) chasing Ruby, what happened?"

Alfred was now wearing a casual but comfortable shirt and a pair of pants while Arthur was wearing a white shirt and a pair of pants. They were carrying their own bags as they wiped their sweat away using their own towels.

"I don't know. But they're probably at the market, buying some goods." - Alfred

""They"? Who "they"?" - Arthur

"Feliciano, Kiku, and Ivan were the ones who will buy some goods for our picnic later. Is there a problem?"

The Brit shook his head slightly and continued to walk away.
