AUTHOR'S NOTE!

Welcome to the casting of The Edgar Poe Club! I am so excited to get this underway, and I thank you all for so much good characters! It was difficult to choose between your characters (especially if you submitted more than one), and I am so glad I stuck with the original plan of seven characters ━ looking at me having a small cast! Unspeakable! Unheard of! Never seen before! I also wanted to make all the character's little bios (the one with the star next to them) as vague as possible, in ways that make them ALL suspicious, so you can guess along the characters of who the murderer could be!

Now, here are some things that you can keep in mind:

ONE ━ You are more than happy to have multiple love interests; if there is one thing I am known for, it's the tragic love in my apply books (see Escape the Night as an example━), so I can write love triangles, unrequited love, or just a wholesome relationship amid the horror, you name it, I will attempt it!

TWO ━ Your characters don't have to know each other! Give different options for their friendship status ━ did they meet at their first club meeting, or did they know each other? Were they even exes or worked together on a project? Were they one of the bystanders when they watched their prank unfold? Try to give me as much information as possible about your character's interactions with others, especially since relationships between characters are meaningful in this story ━ they are trying to detect who the murderer could be. It's essentially their own "Werewolf" situation! Also you can also add whether your character would be suspicious of that person if they were the murderer. This won't affect your relationship with the character. So you can be best friends with this character for example; it's just to help me see which betrayals I can make and who your character would suspect!

THREE ━ Be prepared for change! As the story progresses, there will be changes, and you are welcome to message me about things you want to add to your character or even what you think I could improve for your character! I am merely the writer, but you created the character! I love communication, so feel free to keep it up with me!

Most importantly, have fun! This story is a vast difference from the rest of my application books, significantly since my writing has improved, you will see a lot more difference in this book than the others. I will be timelining this book, such as incorporating flashbacks! I hope you enjoy this as much as I will, and let's get on with the acts of revenge :)
