We were at the head of the battle, and there was a huge opening to the castle. I run forward, blasting away anyone who tried to stop me. This also created a small path for the rebellion and a few made it through.
Breeze rushes up to me
"We can't afford to lose this opportunity. We have to defeat Lucifer."
"I need to defeat Lucifer."
She nods.
"Don't die."
I don't say anything as she runs off to another part of the battle.
"Just find Lucifer."

I ran around his castle and took out some guards in the process. I didn't know where he was, but I had a sneaking suspicion he would be in the throne room, waiting for me.
Turns out I was right.

I kick open the doors and see him sitting on a black throne. He sighs at my arrival and stands up.
"You know I don't want to do this."
"Do I?"
"I don't want to kill anyone else in my family."
"You made the choice to kill your daughter. I won't give you my pity."
I see the anger in his eyes.
"How was I supposed to know she was my daughter?"
"You never had to kill. Now I have to stop you."
I shoot a beam of light at him, which he easily dodges.
"Is that the best you can do?"
I grit my teeth and keep summoning attack after attack.
"You're just a child. I can destroy you with a flick of my hand."
I don't say anything and keep creating attacks, a few hit although they didn't seem to do much.
"I AM A GOD! YOU CAN'T IMAGINE MY POWER!"
He summons a wave of darkness which slams me into a wall.
"You will never be a god."
I summon multiple beams of water that start attacking him from different angles.
"Granddaughter, that's where you are wrong. You could be a goddess at my side. We could rule the world together. You could be my successor."
I create a gust of wind to sweep me over to him, then immediately slap him across the face.
"I will never be like you."
I power up a attack but he was faster and creates a beam of darkness that makes me fly across the room. I smash through the doors and fall limp against the floor.
"Then I must have to kill you. I'm very sorry for this."
I brace myself for a attack, and wait for death.
This is it. I'm going to die. I'm so sorry guys. I wasn't strong enough. Don't forget me, please.

Just then Thanatos teleports me away to everyone else.
"We're losing this battle, the rebellion can't hold on. We're done for."
"You can't think like that! We can still fight!"
Dani was passionate but he had to know that he was lying.
"We're all as good as dead. We can't run forever."
An uneasy silence falls over as before Thanatos speaks.
"I have a plan."
Dani perks up.
"What is it?"
"I've said before that I can go anywhere with enough energy. You guys don't understand how far I can really go."
"You can go across Etheria with no problem. Right?"
We look at him in confusion.
"A long time ago, I teleported as far as I could go. I landed somewhere strange and different. But still good."
We didn't understand at the time, we did now.
"I traveled to a different world. It's like ours, but with no magic. I was stuck there for give years before I got zapped back to our world."
Chelsy stands up.
"Even if we did believe you, that would waste too much of your energy. You could die. Also, we don't want to be stuck in a different world for five years."
"It's the only way."
"No it's not!"
Her eyes were brimmed with tears.
"I'm not losing you!"
"I can't lose any of you to Lucifer."
"We can find a way. I can't let you die."
"I won't die."
"You can't promise that!"
"I know... but I have to believe I'm stronger than I think."
"Thanatos... don't leave me."
"I have to. I'm staying in Etheria. I have to have enough energy to teleport all of you."
Chelsy looked even angrier.
"NO! I am not letting you do this. I'm not letting you die alone, I'M NOT LETTING YOU DIE AT ALL!"
She shook as tears fell down her face.
"Chelsy, I'm so sorry."
He grabs all of us and he starts to teleport. We could see ourselves fading away.
"THANATOS!"
Chelsy tried to free from his grasp but he held on.
He kissed her then let go.
"I'm sorry guys."
We saw him collapse to the ground before we were in a entirely new place.
