Diana's POV

We walked to a store selling jewelry and ancient materials. Although we had a lot, perks of being a goddess, Aurora still wanted one from this city.

We went inside. It was an ancient shop. It smelled like sandlewood and cinnamon. It had cream coloured floorboards, pictures and antique filled the walls. It was fresh and enticing. It made me want to stay in the same place forever.

Aurora squealed happily like a kid in a candy store. I shook my head at her behavior.

She started looking at all the items at display.

I turned around and looked at every item in the shop. Suddenly I heard a croaked voice.

"Are you searching for something ?" The old lady asked me.

"No. I was just looking around. " I said smiling at her. Suddenly she took hold of my hand and pulled me to the back of the store. Artemis and Aurora came with us.

She took us to a shelf at the corner of the room. There, I saw the most beautiful necklace. Of course I had many jewelry's but this one caught my eye. It was a sliver chain with a purple colored teardrop pendent. As soon as I wore it, it glowed. Must have been due to my powers. The lady also handed me a ring, it had a wolf with a blue stone.

Aurora got a cresant moon amulet which had a blue colored pearl. It was pretty. As she wore it, it shone brightly.

Artemis got a necklace which had a moonstone in it. It was also beautiful.

The lady saw us with the necklaces and smiled happily.

"This is the one. These pieces have been made by the goddess Theia. And it seemed that they always waited for their owner. Whenever people would wear it, it burned them. But seeing as it didn't work for you, you three are the owners. Finally they found you. " She said smiling.

We knew that Theia had made some jewelry especially for us, as we had helped her a few years back. But we didn't know that she had placed them on Earth.

We nodded and smiled at her.

"Thank you for showing these to us. " I said smiling.

After paying for the jewelry and some of the things that Aurora had brought, we left the shop. Esme was waiting for us outside the shop as she had been called by the royal guards before.

"So we will have to get going to the pack soon. What shall we do in the mean time?" Artemis asked.

"You guys could spend some more time here, or you could go to the pack now. There's no time limit for you to go there."

"Lets go to the pack right now. There's a lot of things to be done. " I said and nodded.

"We will see you after about a month, Esme. Take care. If you need something, call us. " Artemis said.

"Aye, aye. As if I haven't been taking care of myself for the past thousand years." She said rolling her eyes but with a playful tone in her voice.

"Bye, Esme." We said in unison and teleported to the forest which was near the pack.

Red Moon, here we come.

We looked and nodded at each other and walked towards the border of the pack.

Due to our powers, we had made it seem as if we were badly hurt. Our clothes were covered in mud, hair messed up, and dirt adorning our face with some scratches over our arms and legs. We had put a spell that would make us heal slowly.

As soon as we reached the border, some guards came out of their hiding and cornered us.

That was when we began our acting.

Aurora started crying. And even Artemis was having tears in her eyes.

The guards looked at each other and their eyes glassed over. They must be mindlinking the higher-ups.

The guards made us stand together near a tree. And soon, the beta of the pack, came near us.

“Who are you? ” He asked in his beta voice.

“W-We are from the Purple Moon pack, Sir. ” Artemis said stuttering and coughing in between.

The Purple Moon pack, was a pack that got annihilated just two days back and hence it helped us to pretend easily. But even if they don't believe, we could make them believe by Artemis's powers.

“What are your names?” He asked squinting his eyes.

“I am Diana, she is Aurora, and that is Artemis. ” I said pointing at the other two.

He nodded and spoke something to the others and asked them to take us to the packhouse.

The guards pushed us and made us walk to the packhouse. We were bare-feeted, but that didn't harm us, as we were bare-feeted most of the time. The soft brush of the grass against my feet makes me happy.

We reached the pack house after about forty five minutes. The sun was setting over the horizon, and I saw the people of the pack were walking back to their homes.

Each pack had their own market, and shops which helped them buy the necessary things without having to go to other places.

I could hear the whispers of the people. I can't understand how the king has not been notified of this pack. He should take actions for what this pack has been doing.

I could smell the dinner being prepared in the kitchen. And also the curiosity of the people who were looking at us with interest.

“You three are to wait here, till the Alpha has announced you as the pack members. Until then, stay here and don't move from the place. ” He said and walked outside.

As soon as he was out the door, I walked towards the kitchen with the other two following me.

“Did you see him? Ugh.. Arrogant bastard. I could castrate him in a single second. Are all the people here like that? ” Artemis said with disgust.

“I don't think so. But most of them are. ” I replied. We reached the kitchen and what we saw made us to halt near the door. We were shocked.

We saw some girls preparing food. Most of them had bruises over their face. And their hands were burned. They had blisters all over their hands.

Some had tears running down their face and they tried hard to not get their hands wet, which would make them suffer more pain.

“I am gonna kill them, now. Ana, just let me. ” Aurora said anger lacing each and every word which were spoken from her mouth.

“Mommy, please. I can't do this. Let me go. ” We heard a small girl say to her mother with tears in her eyes. She looked like a ten year old.

“Baby. You know that we have to work. Or else, you will be hurt, baby. Please, just one more. ” The mother said softly trying to make her child listen. The girl cried again and started peeling the vegetables. I nodded at Aurora. She went towards the little girl and started peeling the vegetables without the girl knowing anything.

Before one could blink, she had finished peeling all the vegetables. The little girl looked astonished.

“Mommy, the work is done. ” She said not believing her eyes, with surprise in her voice.

“How is it done so quickly? ” The mother also looked surprised. “But as it is done, you can go outside. But please stay away from the Alpha's sight.” She said and the girl ran away outside smiling happily.

We walked back to the living room and pretended as if we had been sitting there for a long time.

After about fifteen minutes the Alpha came in with the Beta and Gamma tailing behind him.

The man radiated power, and black Aura was surrounding him. Artemis looked at me for a second and then looked back at him.

Artemis and Aurora came closer to me and sat on each side. It was all an act to show that we were scared.

As if we could be scared of a lowly alpha. His power nowhere matched near to ours. Just Aurora alone could take out this entire pack and she was not a goddess. That was the power she was blessed with. And with the power of goddess which both Artemis and I had, we could wipe out a kingdom. And me, being the Goddess of Earth, I had more power here.

“So these are the girls, huh? ” He said smirking. “I am Alpha Lenox and this is my Beta Weston and Gamma Sirius.”

I nodded my head slowly.

“What are your ranks? ” He asked, raising one eyebrow.

“Omega. ” I said in a low voice. He smirked as if winning a great war.

“Alright. You both will be working in the kitchens. ” He said pointing at Artemis and Aurora. “And you will be cleaning the whole pack house. If you finish those works you can help in the kitchen.” We nodded silently.

Realize it boy.

You are signing YOUR death. You are doomed. I thought smiling inwardly.

Come on. Let's start the game. We are more than happy.
