"Well Mackenzie it seems that this is just an allergic reaction." Horace said, holding a clipboard in his hand.

"Well, how can that be I'm not allergic to anything?" Mac protested. She then sneezed and itched her nose.

"Well it could be that you two are developing a new weakness and I think I know what it is." He stood there. Everybody looked at him for answers. "And..." Oliver said to speed the process along. "Oh right" Horace said, realizing his mistake. "I believe the new weakness is platainium."

"Uh, Horace, I think you mean platinum." Oliver states very smartly.

"No Oliver I mean platainium. It's a metal that is very rare. You can only find it in certain places like the desert or Area 49."

"Wait wait wait. Area 49? Is that where they house aliens?" Kaz asks mystified.

"No it's a dance club down on East Brooklyn Street. Quite a lovely place with a great view of bridges." Horace says, mystified. "Anyways. It was used in the 1980s to build factories but they stopped using it once they realized that it had horrible reactions to the earth and the environment.  But barely any of those factories still exist so you should be fine." Horace continued, "Here." He inserted a shot into Mackenzie and Zachary's neck. "That'll take care of the little that you have in you."

"Thanks Uncle Horace." Zach said. Horace nodded and walked off. Oliver and Kaz followed and Alan went into the rec. room. Zach turns to Mac "So you just about ready to go?"

"Yeah, just let me go to the restroom." Mackenzie walked off and Alan came back in.

"Hey Zach I was wondering if I could talk to you?"

"Uh, sure, why not." Zach said hesitantly.

"Well I was wondering if you knew anything about our grandfather. The one who could shapeshift into animals?" Zach was processing the idea when he realized who it was. "Oh yeah. Gramps, on dads' side I think." he said.

"What do you mean? Dads' a normo how could his father have had superpowers?" At that moment Mackenzie walked in and overheard the conversation. Her eyes widened in horror and realisation and she quickly walked over and interrupted Zach as he was about ot start. "You know Alan that is a great question" she said, "but we have to go. I just got an alert that Metallicia is planning on collapsing a bridge. " Mac said and put on a smile. "Who's Metallicia?" Alan asked. "Another great question. Um, she is a new supervillain who can,,,control metal and...stuff. And we have to go stop her." Mac said hesitantly.

"Well, how come I haven't heard of her?" Alan persisted.

"You haven't heard of Metallicia? Well that means....that.....you have not been caught up on your studies. I'll leave you to go study her in...the rec. room." Mac said and started pushing Alan into the rec room. "Bye it's been great seeing you. I'll come by soon. Bye." she pushed Alan through the door.

"What was that all about?" Zach asked. Mackenzie motions for him to follow as she de-suited. When they were outside of mighty med on the street she began to talk again, "Don't you remember Alan doesn't know. He thinks our Dad is a normo. "

"Oh right!" Zachary said and face palmed himself. He didn't realize the man that had just started following them and neither did Mackenzie. "Just remember next time" she started, "we're the children of Optimo, if that slips there would be big trouble." The figure behind them approaches them and drops a $20 bill. "Excuse me sir. You dropped this." Mac says and tries to get his attention. He keeps walking further and further away, Mac and Zach persistantly follow. The figure then disappears into an old looking building. Mackenzie and Zachary follow the man in. Once inside it is dark. They can't see anything. "Where are we?" Zach asks. "MY LAIR!!!!" A deep voice, that makes them jump, responds. They realized too late that it was a trap set by  a faceless villain. They were locked in a dark room with no clue where they were or who this villain was.
