Barbara watched as Dick and Bruce were taking down bad-guys. Bruce had told her it was strictly a 'don't intervene or you're out' kind of patrol for her. She was sitting on top of a crate. She couldn't even yell out "Duck!" or "Behind you!". This sucks, Barbara thought, keeping her cape around her shoulders.
Unlike Dick, who, according to Bruce, had helped, and was originally forbidden from being Robin, Barbara managed to keep herself from intervening. Barely. She sighed in the newly expanded bat-mobile.
"So, is it going to be like this every night?"
"No. Tomorrow you can fight one villain. Underline one." Bruce said, still in his batman voice.
"Sheesh." Barbara muttered. "Serious much?"
"I heard that."
"You were meant to." Barbara said sassily. Damn. Dick thought. Barbara was the only person I've ever heard sass Bruce Wayne, let alone the Batman. Besides super-villains.

"Hey, you did good out there." Dick said, after he and Barbara had changed into normal clothes. Babs made a snorting sound.
"Doing what? Commentating? Come on, I took down the Batman!"
"Don't worry, it'll get better."
"No kidding. I saw the way you took down those thugs." Dick blushed again. How did she do to him with every word she said? "So, when do I get to meet the mystery 'Team'?"
"Well, the way you're going, probably in a few months. But I can't tell you who-"
"Aqualad, SuperBoy, Kid Flash, Miss Martian, Artemis, You." Barbara interuppted. "Soon to join: Lagoon Boy, Wondergirl, BumbleBee, Rocket, and...me." Dick looked at her, shocked.
"The WatchTower uses the same computer system as the BatCave." She said, shrugging.
"And you've hacked into the BatComputer?"
"What? If Bruce didn't want me to, he should've put in more firewalls when the smartest person in Gotham Academy joined his team." Barbara justified.
"You're the smartest in GA?"
"I have a plaque."
"Where is it?"
"My dad's office."
"And how many firewalls were in the system?"
"Five."
"I'll bring it up with Bruce." Dick sighed, laughing and pinching the bridge of his nose.
