Barbara was a self-proclaimed good girl. Perfect grades, perfect looks. Her dad was a detective for bat's sake. So what was she doing out in Gotham's worst neighbourhoods, dressed in black, her mouth and nose covered?

Barbara still couldn't get over the fact that Dick Grayson, her best friend, was Robin. The Robin. It was still bugging her in the back of her head a week later. It was so unfair that he got to go out every night and take down villains, and she was stuck at home, doing algebra homework. So she devised a plan.

She had hacked the G.C.P.D mainframe. Barbara saw a lead on two-face. Bruce and Dick would be there, she knew it. Now was her chance.

Barbara was on the roof of an abandoned ware-house. It was nearly one in the morning when the Bats showed up. Just like she predicted, they were both in a tight fix. When none of Two-Face's goons were looking, she silently lowered herself inside. Before the Bats or Two-Face saw her, she had taken down all his minions.

"Step away, little girl, and no one gets hurt." Barbara smirked, although no one could see it. Two-Face pointed a gun at her.

"You seem pretty confident about that." She said, slamming her fist into his non-burned side of his face. Two-Face gripped his cheek.

"Who is she?" Bruce pondered to himself, as he tried to untie the ropes around the chair. Dick smiled. He had a hunch.

Just as the Dynamic Duo got themselves, free, Barbara had already knocked out Two-Face.

"Who are you?" Bruce said in his Batman growl. Barbara grabbed a piece of paper from her pocket, scribbled something on it, and stuck it to Bruce's chest, before running out of there, pausing at the door, saluting Dick. Yep. Definitely Babs. Dick thought.
"I'm Batgirl." Bruce read aloud. "Any idea who she is?"

"Uh, doy!" Dick laughed. "It's Babs!" Under his cowl, Bruce frowned.
"Gordon? You're friend? We're going to have to tell the Commissioner."

"No! C'mon! Can't we just let her join our 'club'?" Dick pleaded.

"The less people who know who we are, the better."
"Oh, about that...she already knows." Bruce's eyes narrowed. This is when I die. Dick thought. Then Bruce relaxed his face.
"Fine. But she better be prepared to train everyday." Bruce said, before doing his 'disappearing' act. Before Dick followed, he did a 'snoopy happy dance' in his head.
