Six days have passed

Thorin's POV

I was walking in one of the gardens of Rivendell, strange huh? I never thought I would ever walk through a garden on my own accord. But I had to get my mind off things, so a walk on the garden seemed like a good idea..... at the time.

I couldn't help but think of her every time I looked at a flower. Gandalf had said she wrote a book about flowers, explaining what mood they stimulate and what they mean. She even had the book in her pack, Gandalf gave it to me to read.

She explained the smells and colors perfectly. If you closed your eyes and someone read the book to you, then you could actually smell and see the flower in your mind. The one she seamed to go on and on about were Orchids. So I assumed it was her favorite flower.

Gandalf had also given me another book to read, it was about Skin-Changer Courting. A very interesting book I may add. I then realized after reading it that she had started the Courting by giving me the rabbits.

I'm glad I took the kill, but I am not glad of keeping what I feel for her bottled up. I heard foot fall behind me, I turned to see my sister-sons running up to me.

"Uncle!!" They yelled.

"Yes?" I asked with a raised brow,

"Sh-She's waking!" I froze for a moment before running past them.

Kili's POV

A few minutes before the brothers run to the Garden

"She was always spazing out in some kind of way." I said with a slight chuckle as I looked at Zena. Fili chuckled too,

"Yea. Remember when we camped in that forest clearing and no one could find her?" I smiled some,

"Heh, yea... It was hilarious when we heard her shout: 'Leroy Jenkins' before tackling Bilbo to the ground." I said with a laugh.

"Not funny, it hurt a lot." Bilbo said from by the window. I thought I saw Zena move some out of the corner of my eye, but I figured it was just my mind playing tricks.

"When do you think she'll wake?" Bilbo asked as he turned to look at me and my brother. I looked at Zena and this time I saw her eyes move behind her lids, meaning she was about to wake. Fili and Bilbo saw this as well, our suspicions were confirmed when she made a small noise. Fili and I bolted from the room,

"Go get Lord Elrond and the others!" We both yelled to Bilbo before disappearing to find our uncle in the gardens.

General POV

Present

Zena let out a pained gasp when she felt the pain in her body, she felt like someone had taken her and threw her against a stone wall several times. She opened her eyes some and saw thirteen Dwarves, a Hobbit, a Wizard, and an Elf. She blinked to clear the rest of her vision, she went to go move her hand so she could rub her nose.... Only she couldn't move....

"Wh-Why can't I move??" She asked and looked at the people, she could move her head though.

"You are paralyzed from the shoulders down, you will be able to move again an hour from now." The Elf said in a warm voice.

"Do you know your name?" The Wizard asked in a deep tone. Zena licked her chapped lips,

"M-My name is Zenandra LeAnn Braveheart. I am 126 years old, born under the sign of the Serpent. The Serpent is stealthy, intelligent, crafty, and deadly, it should no be underestimated. I live in a small hut deep in the woods that are a little ways away from The Shire. You are Gandalf, my father, and you are Lord Elrond of Rivendell, my uncle. I am a Saber Tooth Cat Skin-Changer, a rare type of Skin-Changer. My biological mother is Aenel, meaning Bow in Elvish." She said and looked at the two men, they were genuinely shocked.

"Normally people who have been... gone......for as long as you have either don't come back, or have amnesia.' Elrond said. Gandalf waved his hand at the Elf,

"Do you know who they are?" Zena looked at the Dwarves and Hobbit as best she could.

"Yes. You are Dwalin and Balin, Nori, Ori and Dori, Bifur, Bofur and Bombur, Gloin and Oin." She looked at the Dwarves as she said their names. She looked at the remaining three Dwarves and Hobbit.

"You are Fili and Kili, Bilbo Baggins, and Thorin Oakenshield." She finished. Gandalf had an impressed face,

"And do you know why you were with them?" She nodded as best she could,

"Of course. You all are on a quest to reclaim Erabor from the Dragon Smaug. My Da asked me to come and you all needed a Burglar, which is why Master Baggins is here." She laid her head back down when her neck grew tired and looked at the ceiling,

"The last thing I remember is us stopping at a run down farm house, I went off in the woods when I caught a scent of a deer. I didn't catch it and I was walking back to the camp in disappointment when I heard yelling. I climbed a tree to see what was going on and... I remember nothing after that." She said quietly and closed her eyes. Gandalf looked at everyone and then back at Zena.

"Do you remember having a relationship with anyone?" Elrond asked, hoping he would get the answer he was expecting.

"Of course. I had a good friendship with everyone, but mine with you, Dwalin, isn't all there." She said and looked at said Dwarf with her usual goofy grin.

"Is that all, Zena?" Elrond asked and moved to the side of the bed so she could look at him without raising her head. She stared up at him,

"I mean, I was hoping for a certain Dwarf to confess since it was obvious to everyone." She said and moved her head some, but only Elrond knew she was motioning to Thorin. Elrond chuckled,

"Always with the Riddles."

"Oh that wasn't a riddle, Uncle. If you want a Riddle, then come back later." She yawned, "Because I'm tired all of a sudden."

Elrond nodded,

"T'is normal. Sleep well." He said before motioning everyone out. Thorin began to follow, but Elrond shook his head before shutting the door. Leaving Thorin and Zena alone.

"You smell like Orchids... I love Orchids..." Zena said before falling asleep. Thorin smiled softly before sitting in the chair next to her bed and picked up the book she wrote on flowers. He opened the book and started reading from where he left off at.
