Early in the morning, Y/n was on his bed sleeping. He was turning in his sleep as he was having a weird dream.

Y/n's dream

Y/n saw six powerful dragons rampaging though the land, all six have different appearances but all share the same symbol. All six then turned to his direction.

Replace Chronojet with Y/n

They let out a roar as Y/n woke up with a start, he then looked at his clock to see it's only seven in the morning.

"What the hell was that?" Y/n thought while trying to calm down.

"Something wrong partner?" Overlord asked from his mind.

"It's just a weird dream Overlord. But it felt so ... real."

"Oh? Describe this dream to me."

Y/n described the dream to Overload

" Does that symbol they share look like a six prong star?"

"Yeah, in different colors and locations on the body,"

"Zeroth dragon..."

"You know what they are?"

"Their called the Zeroth dragons, six dragons that was created by the dragon deity of destruction, Gyze. Created for only one purpose, to destroy everything. But they were defeated and sealed away by Gyze's counterpart, Harmonics Messiah."

"Why would i dream about them?"

"Messiah did once say someone will one day wield their powers without destroying everything, that maybe you."

"Whatever the case, it's too early, i'm going back to sleep."

Timeskip

Hours later, the three newest members of the ORC was about to go on flyer duty, but was stopped by Rias.

"Hold on you three, you'll be glad to know that your flyer days are over. I think it's time for you three to gain a familiar." Rias said.

She explained that familiars are creatures that a devil can summon for various tasks such as handing out flyers. She then summoned a bat like creature that can transform into a girl, Issei recognized her as the one that gave him a flyer during his fake date. Akeno summoned a imp, Koneko a white cat and Kiba an eagle.

Before anything else,a knock on the door was heard. Soon the student council entered. 

"Who are they?"Asia asked Y/n. 

"Their the student council and the one leading them is their president Sona Shitori . Something tells me this isn't a casual visit."

Rias confirmed that Sona is also a devil and the heiress of the Stiri household and the student council is her peerage. Suddenly the only male member of the council began to insult them, boasting about the superiority of the Stiri's. This annoyed Y/n enough for him to act.

"Hey Overlord, mind helping me putting him in his place?" Y/n thought to his partner.

"What do you have in mind partner?" Overload asked curious, knowing about his partner's creative mind. After explaining his plan, Overload agreed. Y/n then walked up to the idiot and before he to react grabbed him by the neck.  Y/n then let out a dragon like roar to his face, causing any words the idiot had to die in his throat. Y/n then spoke in a mix of his and Overload's voices.

"Listen here and listen well runt, i don't give a flying (Bleep) about which house is superior , but if you insist on trying to flaunt your none existence superiority in front of me again, Sona will find herself a few pawns short, capisce!?"

He could only nod while sweating buckets, scared out of his mind. Y/n then let go of his neck, causing him to hide behind one of his fellow pieces in fear.

Issei, who was arguing with the idiot flinched at Y/n threw a sharp look at him. 

"And you! Will you be more mature for once? Do not sink to his level!"

Y/n then sat back down with a huff, he would have looked more intimidating, if Koneko hadn't sat on his lap and her familiar jumped on his head.

Akeno was blushing at Y/n's act of superiority, feeling herself being turned on by the aura he let out while threatening the pawn.

After finding out Sona's peerage was also going to the familiar forest where they can get familiar, this was a problem since the familiar master only accepted one family at the time. Sona proposed a contest to see gets to go. And to most of the ORC's surprise , the challenge was a chess match between her and Y/n. As the match went on, the two had a casual chat.

"So Y/n, how does it feel , being and Rias's peerage?" Sona asked, having known him before he was made a devil.

"It's been interesting to say least." Y/n said as he moved a piece.

"I would like to apologize for Saji, he's still young and has much to learn." She apologized as she moved a piece.

"Its fine, but put him on a leash next time. You never know if he'll bite off more then he can chew."Y/n said as he moved a piece. Said pawn flinched, having just learned the lesson the hard way.

The match went on for a few more minutes until....

"Checkmate."

Sona and most of the others were stunted to see that Y/n has indeed has Sona in checkmate.

"Good game Sona, pretty sure i won by pure luck though."

"Well, a deal is a deal. We'll allow you to go to the familiar forest." Sona said with a slight cough.

As the ORC prepared to leave, Sona stared at the chess broad for a bit.

"I lost to Y/n, it isn't really that bad." Sona though with a slight blush. 

After the ORC arrived at the familiar forest, they meet the familiar master who looks like a older Ash Ketchum that speaks in rhymes much to Y/n's annoyance.

Soon Y/n felt a voice from somewhere, telling him to follow. Y/n spread his wings to follow the voice, he soon found himself at a lake. A female figure soon rose from it,she gave Y/n a gentle smile. 

"The lady of the lake.." Overlord said in surprise

"You mean the one the England legends? The one that..."

"That gave king Arthur Excalibur? Indeed i am." She said snapping Y/n out of his thoughts.

"I-it's a honor to meet you."

"Please, call me Vivian. I called you here to ask a request of you."

"A request?"

"Indeed, i present you with this blade, Excalibur ruler." She said as she held out a sword to him.

"Excalibur ruler?" Y/n asked confused.

"Excalibur was broken into seven pieces during the war, the fragments are reforged into seven new blades, the blade you see before you is the strongest of the seven. Having the ability to command anything the wielder wishes ."

"Indeed, i foreseen that Excalibur will be complete once more in the near future and i would like you to be the one to do it."

"W-why me? I'm a devil, i won't be able to go near it let alone complete it."

"A reborn devil is able to wield a holy sword if they they have a affinity for it while their still human." Overlord explained. "Seeing she's entrusting you with the task, it means that you have one." 

Y/n hesitantly reached for the holy sword, and to his surprise it didn't burn him.

"If you say i'll be the one to reforge the true Excalibur,  then i'll do my best to live up to you expectations."

"It's all i ask, farewell."

After Vivian returned to her lake, Y/n stores his new blade using a magic Overload taught him called requip. As he took flight once more, he was drawn by a power source. He landed in a temple and there he saw two a large crystals on two pedestals . 

"The Adamant orb and Lustrous orb..." Overlord said in surprise 

"You know what they are?"

"Their two artifacts that can enhance the powers of two very powerful dragons. Dialga and Palkia , the dragons of time and space. Rumors say the orbs can summon the dragon they enhance." Overlord explained. "They might have hidden the orbs here to keep them away from greedy hands."

"Okay, but what drew me here?"

"I'm not too sure myself..." 

Y/n's eyes glowed blue and pink slightly before he began to walk to the orbs.

"What's this? Oi, snap out of it partner." Overlord said when he felt Y/n wasn't responding.  

Y/n then touched the orbs, causing them to glow blue/pink, suddenly two portals one blue the other pink opened. Two dragons then emerged from them.

"So this is the human that the orbs chose? " The blue dragon said.

"So young, yet full of potential." the pink dragon said.

Y/n then snapped out of it before stepping back from the two dragons with a slight gulp.

A magic circle appear bellow all three as a contact was made.

"We are now your familiars, do not disappoint us in the future young one." They said in union before opening a portal and leaving.

".... That was something.." Y/n said not knowing what else to say.

"Indeed."

Y/n then flew back to the others, only to see... the girls covered in slime that was melting their clothes?  Kiba was blinded by the slime while Issei was just staring.  (Typical)

Y/n gave a strong flap of his wings, sending out a wave of fire. When it reached the others, the flames only burned away the slimes , leaving the others unharmed.

Y/n then gave his fellow pawn a solid punch to the face before he complained about the slimes destruction knocking him out as Rias and Akeno summoned clothes for themselves Koneko and Asia.

A small blue dragon flew to Asia and snuggled with her, choosing her has his master. When he saw Y/n, he began to spark. But a sharp look and a quick image of Overlord over Y/n quickly changed his mind, recognizing Y/n as an alpha.

After Asia made contact with her new familiar who she named Rai. they all returned to the club room.

Timeskip

As Y/n was at home relaxing, a fire ball suddenly hit Y/n's room. Blowing up half his house, when it died down, it revealed a unharmed Y/n who was annoyed. He then spreads his wings to confront the idiot who did this.

"Oh you survived? No matter Riser will-" 

The now named Riser could't finish his sentence as Y/n punched him in the face and sent him back a few feet.

"A Phenex. A devil clan that has similar abilities as a phoenix."  Overlord informed.

"So he's immortal? Great, just great.

"No, his healing has a limit and his mind isn't immortal. The best way to beat him without causing collateral damage is to break him mentally."

As Y/n was talking to Ovelord, Riser was pointlessly throwing fireballs at him. Each one making a small blast, but was ultimately useless. 

"Riser will not be ignored!" The arrogant devil roared as he let out a large stream of fire. 

Y/n merely flew though the flames before grabbing Riser by the head, the both of them then was surrounded by crimson  flames before they shot of like a red shooting star,

At the ORC

Rias was currently with Akeno talking to a few other people when suddenly..... 

Boom!!!!

They went outside to see Y/n holding Riser by the head in a crater.

"Brother?!"  A blond haired girls said when she saw this.

"Alright pal, you have ten seconds to explain why did you attack me and blow up half my house like that." Y/n growled.

"Riser has heard a low class devil has the wings of apocalypse, a sacred gear that gives it's user complete mastery over fire, Riser will not accept there's anyone that has better mastery over_" Riser said before Y/n slammed his head to the ground.

"That's why you attacked me!? You attacked me, destroyed my home and could have harmed my housemate if she wasn't somewhere else at the moment... OVER YOUR PRIDE!?" Y/n roared.

Y/n then let out a blast of crimson flames  at Riser who screamed, he then used the power ox and rabbit talisman  then beat the arrogant fool to the ground in rapid fire flame covered punches, causing the crater to become deeper from the force.

At the sidelines, the others were surprised on how badly the Phenex heir was being beaten down. Riser's sister was getting worried that he might be killed.

After slamming both his fist on Riser's beaten body, Y/n took flight and began charging a condensed ball of fire.  He was about to fire it, but Riser's stepped between them with her arms spread out.

"Please stop, he's had enough!" She cried.

Narrowing his eyes, Y/n spoke in a mix of his and Overloads voice. "Why do you defend him? He attacked me, destroyed my home and nearly harming my housemate if she wasn't elsewhere, and you expect me to show him mercy?"

She flinched but stood her ground. "I know he's a arrogant  and prideful fool, but he's still my brother! If i haven't stepped in i could have lost him!"

Y/n's eyes soften as he heard that, he dispelled his attack. He then landed in front of her.

"You stood up for him even it means you could have be harmed , i can see you truly care for him. If you ask me, your the much better candidate as heir."

This caused her to blush slightly before turning to check on her brother.

Y/n then noticed the others around him, before taking a double take at the maid among them.

"Is something the matter?" The maid Y/n took a double take on asked.

"No, but you look strikingly similar  to someone i know, if i wasn't aware she was a only child i would have thought you two were sisters."

Y/n pulled out a photo as the others curiously came over, when they saw the said someone, they could't help but agree that the two do look like sisters  but with some minor differences.

"Y/n, speaking of sisters,  i would like you to meet mine, Mio Gremory."

"Nice you meet you." Mio greeted.

"Nice to meet you two." Y/n greeted back.

"Next to her is her queen, Maria." 

"Nice to meet to you, your such a man to show such dominates over someone like Riser like_" Maria said before Mio grabbed her head tightly.

"Enough Maria, if you continue that sentence i'll kill you a hundred times!"

Rias cough slightly before continuing "The girl that stopped you is Ravel."

Y/n looked at Ravel for a bit before returning his attention to Rias.

"And this is Grayfia, my brothers queen."

Grayfia bowed slightly and Y/n returned it.

"Originally, i have come to discuss lord Riser's engagement to Lady Rias and Lady Mio."Grayfia said.

"Engaged!?"

"Indeed, but what lord Riser has done is unacceptable. I will take lord Riser home. Whether or not the engagement will continue is unconfirmed."

After she took Riser and Ravel back with her, Y/n and the Gremory sisters chatted in the club room. Rias had kept the engagement a secret to him, Issei and Asia is because she felt she didn't want them to be pressured by this. She wanted a way out of the engagement for years and was scared when time was running short. 

Y/n could only hug his king, understanding her fears and not blaming her wanting the engagement to be broken. Now, all they could do is wait.

Timeskip

"Yawn......" 

Y/n stretched his limbs as he woke up, he then noticed his room is not only repaired, but was much larger. He then noticed someone was beside him, he turned to see... A naked Rias!?

When she woke up and saw Y/n, she jumped up and pulled him in a tight hug. She explains that Riser's actions has caused the engagement has been broken. Causing her and Mio to be free, and with the news that the wielder of the wings of apocalypse is protecting her, no one else dares to try.

Riser was also declared not fit to be heir and was striped of the title, plus the beating he got had scared him for live and he too afraid to even leave his room. As a apology for his action, the Phenex family has given Y/n a mansion to replace his destroyed home and since RIser is refusing to even leave his room, his peerage was given to Y/n.

"Wait what? His peerage is even to me? How does that work?"

"Normally when a reborn devil is promoted to high class, their pieces are replaced by a king piece. But your a exception to this as your still my pawn while being a king at the same time." Rias explained.

"Huh? Is this even allowed?" Y/n asked shocked.

"Being the sister of a devil king has it's benefits. This is my brothers way to say thank you for freeing me." Rias winked.

Soon they went to Y/n's new living room and saw the others, there, Mio introduced her other peerage members. Her rooks Zest and Chisato, her only bishop and Maria's mom Shelia and her two only pawns, Rem and Ram. Both taking two mutated pawns.  Y/n's new peerage will arrive the next day as their currently packing their things and will arrive soon.

"Hn, not a dull moment with these devils is it?" Overlord said to Y/n.

"Indeed it isn't, but what's makes them fun to be around." Y/n thought.

As Y/n chatted with Mio's peerage and his first, he could only wonder that the future holds.

Done and done, last chapter of 2021 and the longest chapter i wrote to date. Next time, Y/n will get to know his new peerage and Y/n will meet a few old friends. What do i mean? Read to find out.
