Y/n found himself in a field of crimson flames, he looked around wondering where he was. He doesn't feel any heat from the flames, but felt empowered by them. He heard a roar the shook the ground around him, a pillar of crimson fire erupted a few feet away from him. In the pillar of was a dragonic figure was seen, the flames died down to reveal a large red and fearsome dragon who looked at him.

"Welcome to your mind, partner"

"Partner?" 

"Indeed, i am the dragon that is sealed within your sacred gear, i am the dragon that strikes fear across the three factions, i'm Dragonic Overlord!" The dragon roared as pillars of flames erupted around them."

"So your the reason i was able to use those flames against Yuma?" Y/n asked.

"Indeed, as my partner, you can control fire as however you please. You are also immune to flames and can devour fire from other sources to increase the power of your own." Overlord explained. " When you saw your friend be struck down by that fallen angel, your anger caused the wing of apocalypse to awaken,a sacred gear needs a catalyst to awaken, in this case, your rage at the fallen angel."

"The wings of apocalypse, is that the name of my sacred gear." Y/n asked with Overlord nodding.

Y/n began to fade. "Looks like your waking up, i'll talk to you later"

Y/n opened his eyes to find himself in his room, he sat up wondering if it was a dream. "No partner, it wasn't a dream." Overlord said from his head causing Y/n to jump. " You have school soon, you better hurry  or you'll be late."

With that, Y/n hurried up and got ready. When he reached Kouh, he saw Issei trying to convince his friends that he had a girlfriend but they didn't believe him as they won't remember.

Y/n remembered Rias telling him that Yuma had mostly likely erased the memories of the humans to cover her tracks. Y/n then hurried to class before the moronic duo could begin their perverted talk.

After school was over, Y/n followed Issei from afar, not wanting another attack to happen. And sure enough, a male fallen angel appeared and attacked Issei. But Y/n wasn't going to allow Issei to die again.

Y/n created a ball of fire before tossing it at the fallen with high speeds, the fallen managed to move but was nicked in one of his wings. Y/n keeps tossing fire balls to drive the fallen away, the crow managed to get away , but not before Y/n managed to nail the crow the rear.

Y/n then heard clapping, he turned around to see Rias and the others.

"Excellent work on driving that fallen angel away Y/n." Rias praised. " Sorry that we didn't step in, but i wanted to see what you can do."

"Is Issei alright?"

"He'll alive, but is injured." Akeno said checking the other pawn .

"I can help with that."

Before they could ask Y/n what he meant, Y/n pulled out a octagonal shaped talisman with a horse symbol on it. Y/n then placed it on Issei's chest,a light shined over the talisman before Issei's body began to heal rapidly to the surprise of the others.

After sending Issei home, Y/n and the others return to to the club room where he explained about his sacred gear and the twelve talismans.

Rias was pleased when she heard about what Y/n's scared gear is, knowing the seven pawns she used on him was well worth it and it can help her greatly with a problem that has hunted her for years now.

The next day

After school, Y/n brought Issei to the ORC with Rias's request where he was explained everything, but with Issei being Issei, he only paid attention about what happens if he gets promoted to high class (Idiot). 

After failing to summon his sacred gear, both pawns went to pass out flyers. After they were done, they returned to the ORC.

 After explaining the reason they were handing out flyers, Rias sent Issei out on one of Koneko's summons since she was double booked.... only to discover he can't teleport, having the magic reserves worst then a devil child's. What's worst is that he forgot to make the pact as his client doesn't believe he's a devil.

Timeskip to the next day

As Y/n was walking to school, he bumped into someone, causing the other person to fall to the ground.

"Sorry about that.... Asia?" Y/n began to apologize before he saw who he had bumped into.

"Y/n?" The now named Asia asked. She then launched herself at him for a hug that he returned, both happy to see an old friend again.

"So Asia, what are you going in Kouh?" Y/n asked his old friend.

"I was transferred to the church in Kouh." She explained.

"Asia...the church has been abandoned for years now." 

"But i'm sure i was transferred here."

Feeling something is off, Y/n brought Asia to his home, he then quickly jogged to school since he still had time. But to his surprise, Yuma in her fallen angel form appeared before him.

"You have thirty seconds to scram before i deep fry your rear."  Y/n threatened as he created a fire ball in his right hand, he was lucky at the park he was traveling at had no humans at the area at moment.

To his surprise, she held up her hands in surrender. "Look, i'm not here to fight wielder of the wings of apocalypse, i came here to warn you about Dohnaseek's plan, the male fallen you encountered a few days ago."

"Explain." Y/n demanded.

"That nun you have in your care, he plans to extract her sacred gear."

Y/n was shocked, before it turned into anger, the air around them grew hot in responds to his anger, as the extraction of a sacred gear would mean death to the host. "And your telling me why?" Y/n growled.

"After i barely escaped being fried the other day, i contacted my leader Azazel to learn about your sacred gear, that's when i learned that we were supposed to observe  and only kill if  he lost control. He then informed me about your gear and was shock yet excited when he learned of you wield a gear that no one as wielded before."

"Is what she saying true?" Y/n thought to Overlord.

"It's true, your my current and only partner."  Overlord confirmed.

"This made me realize me and my other teammates were tricked as we remembered lord Azazel more interested in sacred gear research then starting trouble with with the devils." She explains. "We suspect he's working with a warmonger that was gone rouge."

Y/n put of the flames on his hands. "Is Asia being targeted because she's human?"

Yuma nodded which caused  Y/n to hum. 

"I think i know how to throw a monkey wrench on his plans, you and comrades better return to your leader."

"Right, my real name is Raynare by the way." The now named Raynare said before she left.

After reaching school in time with the help of the rabbit talisman, after classes Y/n met with Rias to explain the situation to her.

"Hm... i see, so by turning Asia into a devil, the fallen can no longer touch her." Rias hummed. 

"That's right, Asia is too innocent to go though what the crow has planned for her,and you'll get a healer due to her gear." Y/n said all but begged his king.

"Even if i do turn her into a devil, what will we do about Dohnaseek and the rouge exorcists?"

"I have that covered, just leave it to me. Overlord and i deal will them with one shot."

"Alright, i leave it to you, but don't go too far okay?" Rias said hugging Y/n. "I can't bare the thought of you hurt."

"Thank you Rias, you won't regret it,i promise."

They then teleport to Y/n's home to explain the situation to her, she agreed to become a devil to stay close to Y/n and make more friends. Asia was now Rias's second bishop.

At night, Y/n was flying above the abandoned church with his gear out. He got a message from his phone, it was from Raynare. Saying Dohnaseek and all the rouge exorcists were in the abandoned church and they returned to their leader.

"Focus partner, fire is a wild and unpredictable element. It's breaths like we do and grows, if you lose focus , it'll spread out of control and destroy everything around you. Overlord instructed.

Y/n listened to his partner, focusing , the flames gathered in front of his outstretched arms, forming a sphere of flames with two rings of fire surrounding it. He then fires it at the abandoned church which explodes on impact causing a explosion. 

"It's a good thing Akeno put up barriers around the area so no one will notice this." Y/n thought.

"You!" A half fried Dohnaseek yelled as he barely flew to Y/n.

"Still alive? Surprising."

"Even if you kill me, Raynare and the others will_"

"They're long gone." Y/n interrupted him." They found out you tricked them and sold you out, Asia is now a devil under the Gremory household, your former comrades abandoned you and your  going to die."

"This can't be..."

"Sorry, not sorry, now disappear!" Y/n said unapologetic before throwing a basketball size ball of fire which exploded, reducing the fallen to a bunch of black feather that burned away before they even got near the ground.

Y/n sighed in relieve as it was all over, hen then flew back to the ORC. Before he landed, he saw something spying on the others though the window. Y/n focused his flames to his index finger, before firing it like a bullet, taking out what was spying on his friends.

After joining his friends with celebrating Asia joining them, Y/n decided to tell Rias about the spy that was watching them. She didn't look pleased when she heard about it, but told him not to worry about it.

Timeskip

The next day after classes, Y/n was at the ORC eating some sweets with Koneko on his lap. The rook had begun to sit of his lap when he joined, and she refused to move when asked to much to to the annoyance of Rias and Akeno.

Issei was glaring at Y/n with jealously as he had a school mascot on his lap,but looked away when Y/n shot him a annoyed glare.

Asia had moved in with him which he didn't mind, but since she was enrolled in Kouh and was in the same class as him and Issei, many males students had been on his case when she innocently told them she was living them him. 

And much to his embarrassment, their female classmates had asked Asia for a picture of him shirtless they know they were living together, Fortunately, Y/n was able to get Asia out of there before things got awkward.

As the rest of the peerage arrived to the club room, Y/n could only wonder what the future holds for them.

Done and done, next time our heroes will meet with Sona Stiri and her peerage and compete with them for the chance to gain familiars.
