"I totally love living by the sea, it let's me see so many diffewrent cwreatuwres that live under the water. Sometimes I wish that I... hey! What's that?"

Zuma had been swimming in the bay and thinking to himself when a shining object caught his eye. Upon a closer inspection, the item turned out to be a necklace; and it just so happened, that this necklace had a tooth on it.

"Dude!" Zuma thought excitedly. "This is the awsomest necklace ever! I'm totally keeping it. I bet Candy will love seeing me wear this." He placed the necklace in his pup-pack's pocket and swam to shore.

Zuma took a quick glance at the sun's height in the sky and figured it was nearing six o'clock.

"Aw, man. Well, no mowre suwrfing, then. I'd better head home for dinner."

He had only walked a few steps when he wondered aloud and to himself.

"If only I could fly, like without my flight pack, then I'd have a little mowre suwrfing time."

No sooner had he said that, he felt something pushing his back against his uniform. He unzipped his vestand was shocked by what he saw. Two large wings now protruded from his shoulder blades, making him look like a magical creature.

"Wow! Whewre did those come fwrom? Oh well, wait 'til Evewrest and Wocky get a load of these."

Zuma hurried home to show off the new wings, but stopped when he noticed that his tail seemed... heavier? He looked and saw that it was heavier and thicker as well; plus, less furry. Now his mood went from joyful to panicked. What was going on? Why was his puppy body changing? As he pondered these and many other questions, his paws began aching and swelling. Before Zuma even knew what was happening, he was lifted into the air, then he grew bigger, and bigger, and bigger. After a few seconds, the little pup was nowhere to be seen. Rather, a huge beast flew in the direction of the Lookout; a large dragon with orange and blue scales who looked hungry.
