Piper

"This party is awesome!"  Jason shouted over the noise.

Piper had to admit, she did agree. Parties were probably the best thing about high school. Drinks, boys, food, music, and of course, friends. Except, her friends weren't as into it. Percy and Annabeth sat in the far end of the room, the most rebellious thing they did all night; making out. Piper almost laughed out how pathetic they were.

"Live a little, huh" her boyfriend slurred.

She wanted to use that as an example. Uptight, mature, good boy Jason Grace was drunker Cooter Brown. Even Hazel and Frank were getting lit.

"Whatever," Annabeth started, standing up. "We're gonna leave now before drunk drivers get out."

Good point.

"Good point," Jason shrugged, as if reading my mind, "See you guys at school Monday."

Percy nodded at them with a stupid grin, then the couple headed out the door.

Suddenly a feeling of dread washed over Piper. She felt like something terrible was going to happen. And that usually meant there was.

At about one in the morning, Piper got a call from Annabeth.

"Who is it?" Leo asked, smelling vaguely of alcohol.

"Annabeth," she answered, picking up the phone.

"Piper," her best friend sobbed into the phone.

"Annaneth, what's the matter?" she asked frantically, waving Jason, Hazel, and Frank over.

"Piper please come I need help!"

"Annabeth where are you?"

"Marilyn street, please hurry"

"What's the matter?"

"It's Percy." she screamed, breathing heavily

Pipers heart stopped. Percy had been going through a lot at the time, and it could've been anything. A suicide attempt, seizure, anything. There wasn't any time to waste.

"Annabeth just stay on with me okay," Piper told her calmly, "Jason, Hazel, Frank, Leo. Get your stuff we're leaving."

"Why?" Leo asked, swaying slightly.

Not now, Leo, she thought. He couldn't have been drunk at a time like that.

"It's Annabeth and Percy," she told him, "Something happened to them, lets go."

They piled into Piper's car After 20 minutes of looking, we found a horrific scene. 2 cars. One crashed into the other. That other, was flipped and crashed in the driver's seat. And that car was a dark blue Prius. The car given to Percy and Annabeth by Percy's mom. "Gods that's..." The words seemed to be stuck in my throat. " We need to get them" Frank said and we all got out. "Annabeth are you in there" I yelled. "Percy, you there" Jason called. Hazel went to the other car and mouthed to us"drunk driver". Holy Hera they... But.... Gods life sucks. "Piper is that you" Annabeth said still crying. "Yeah Annabeth are you ok". "Yeah but... Percy" and then she broke into tears again. "Leo call 911" I said. Now that he was just a little tipsy he listened.

5 minutes later, ambulances and fire trucks, and all that other stuff were there. Two fire men picked up the car and I pretty much broke down from there. Annabeth had a huge gash on her cheek that was bleeding, A LOT. Her arm was also bent in a unnatural angle. But Percy...Gods Percy. He had cuts all over his body. Huge gashes that were bleeding, and wouldn't stop. His eyes were closed, and he had a twisted leg. I mean TWISTED in the wrong direction. Also, he had a bar through his shoulder, so close to his heart. I just had tears coming out of my eyes.

Jason POV

"Percy" I said to myself barely audible. You know, I always thought he would die in battle. Not like this. This Police officer was not letting us pass, and I wanted to run him through with my gladius. A nurse was talking to Annabeth, while stitching up her cheek. I tried calling Percy's parents, but they were in Greece for the next 2 months. The other guy who crashed into them was being arrested for drunk driving. See now him, I would kill him with my hands. That bitch. Percy was put on a gurney. I think thats what its called. I'm a boy DEMIGOD, and not Athena, don't judge me. Then, he was gone. When that idiot finally let us move, we ran straight to Annabeth. "Oh, Annabeth, what HAPPENED" Hazel said. She started crying again.

When she stopped, she started talking, but it was very quiet. "We were d-driving home, a-and I had my phone in the backseat ( A phone by Leo, so demigods can use).Behind P-percy's seat. And it started to ring. So we pulled over, and he turned to get it. Then we heard t-this noise. And then, everything went black. A-and hurt. And I heard a n-noise. A scream. But not f-from me" And she started crying again. Frank walked over to a paramedic and asked "Is Percy going to be ok"

"I'm going to be honest, we don't know. I have just been told he woke up on the ambulance, but cannot move anything. Probably a temporary paralysis. But, he was calmer than others. Not freaking out, like he'd been through this before" she said. "Something like this" Annabeth muttered. "Lets go to the  hospital" Piper suggested. "Ok, Ok" Leo said. Now he was actually alive.

Annabeth POV

When we arrived at the hospital, we had to wait 2 hours before we could see Percy. Gods, my cheek hurts. I wasn't allowed to touch it for 3 WHOLE days. Damn my ADHD. I wanna touch it. Finally after 2 hours that seemed like an eternity, we were allowed to see Percy. The rest wanted me to go alone first, thank the gods."Room 598" the Woman at the front desk said. 595, 596, 597, 598. "Ok" I muttered to myself. I took a deep breath, and walked in.

I had to contain myself from screaming when I got in. Percy had wires in almont every part of his body. He wasn't wearing a shirt, because there were more wires. "Hey Annabeth, when your done staring, can I have a nice big hug" A voice croaked. Percy. "Oh, Percy, I missed you" I said. "I don't think I was gone that long" he said. I went over and helped him sit up. "Annabeth" he said. "Your cheek, is it Ok". "Your asking if I'm ok, Seaweed Brain". "Yes, I am" he said defiantly. I leaned in and kissed him. A long, meaningful kiss.

It was interrupted by a knock on the door. "Can we come in" Hazels voice called. "Yeah" I said. I looked at the clock on the wall. 4:00 am. What the Hades. The rest walked in, and tried not to stare at Percy. "You guys, you are failing. I know your staring at me" Percy said. His voice sounded raspy, and... broken.

"Sorry Perce" Leo said. "No problem, but Hey guys, can I ask a question" Percy said. "Yeah, shoot" Jason told him. "Can I sleep". "You ACTUALLY want to sleep" I said. But he was already asleep. "Well, I'm going to stay here, you guys go" I told them. "Alright, I'll..um..tell the school.." Jason started. "I'll be there tomorrow, Percy won't" I told him. "Ok, bye".

A nurse walked in and gestured me outside. "Hi, I'm Allison, Percy's nurse. Since you were the only person in there I just assumed..."

"Yeah, I'm his girlfriend"

"Ok, I just wanted to tell you that Percy has temporary paralysis, along with a collapsed lung, which could lead to pneumonia. He also lost a lot of blood, which means he will need a blood transfusion. We called his parents and let them know, and they said to let a girl named Annabeth know most of the details"

"I'm Annabeth". Gods. What did Seaweed Brain do to himself. "Ok, well I'll leave you, have a good night" she said, then walked away. I went back in the room. 5:34. Just 6 hours ago, we were at a party. This all started with a party. Gods damn the guy who caused this.

So how was this. I promise you fangirls I will NOT Kill Percy. I mean, I'm evil, but I love Percabeth. I can't kill 1/2 of Percabeth.
