Inside a classroom, Professor sycamore was teaching the class about english in poetry  lesson while reading a book holding single-handedly, speaking out from it.

The students where sitting down, typing the information and words from their teacher on the computer in front.

Serena glances at the teacher then computer. Soon, while she was typing, a message popped up on the computer screen.

She moves the mouse and clicked the message which was from Ash.

A red blush formed on her pale cheeks while seeing his name. As a matter of fact, she does have a crush on him when she first met him. She didn't know why she had these feeling, was it because he makes her happy or was it, he's better than Calem.

Serena reads the message without letting her teacher know.

The message from Ash said.

'how come i never c u drift'

Serena smiles, taking a quick glance behind and types. On the other hand, Ash looked at the computer, waiting for a reply until it came.

because you never ask.

Ash grins as he reads the message and types again.

Serena waited for a second then a message popped up but when she clicked it. It made her heart skip a beat, eyes widened in perfect circles, cheeks were now blushing madly when she read it.

So is it a date then, you and me.

She glances at professor Sycamore who still continues on with the lesson and types on the computer while her hands were shaking slightly in vibrant and heart beating as she types to her crush.

Ash waited for the reply until it popped up, it also made him smile when he read it.

Sure, it's a date.

Ash smiled widely.

The bell rang across the hallway. Both Ash and Serena head out the classroom and went straight to their homes, as they walk with both having a smile on their faces.

Time skip.

It was a cold night in the city of Kalos. we now set over to a shop, well it does look like it.

Inside were vending machined that had different items to buy. At the table area, Serena was sitting comfortably beside Ash, both eating their snack.

Ash takes lots of bites, really loving the food while Serena is the same but slowly; there were people walking by smiling at the two, there was even some loving compliments which made Serena blush madly.

"It's actually not bad" he replied, looking at Serena "I didn't even have to put ketchup on it" he added, which made Serena smile giving out a little giggle.

They kept on talking for some minuets, until Ash questioned.

"So tell me, where do you live" he questioned, grabbing a fizzy drink and takes a sip.

"I live here" Serena answered, taking a bite from the food.

"No, where were you born" Ash questioned again. correct this time.

Serena nods in understand "well i used to live in Kanto before. But i moved" she replied which made Ash shock.

He didn't even see her in Kanto, and know she was born there, he wanted to ask some more question about her.

"you're born from Kanto" He said, incredulously.

Serena nods in agreement.

"Wow" Ash baffled "which city were you born"

"in a place called pallet town," she answered.

"i was born there"

At this, Serena's eyes widened in surprise.

"Really"

Ash nods" Yep. Me and my mom used to live there for couple of years untill my father left, making my parents split up when i was 5 years old and now,i came here to this place"

"Well thank-goodness your here" Serena Mumbled with a blush.

"Yep, after my father left. Me and my mom start to move around a lot mostly because of me," Ash respond, but when his eyes slid up to Serena's sapphires. He couldn't help but bore into them, he wanted to lie but couldn't so he told the truth instead. "Well, it was all cause of me" he truthfully told, making Serena smile a little.

"i kind a made myself an outsider, you know, without even thinking about it but i realized now, outside or insider, it doesn't really matter. all that is knowing what you really want and going after" he explained.

Serena nods in understand and stood up from the chair, pushing it slightly back.

"Come on" she spoke, offering Ash to get up who gave a puzzled look.

"What do you mean"

"i'm taking you to a drift" she said and walks off to her car which was a Mazda RX-7 with blue background and a little sportier.

Ash stood up from his seat and walks to the car with both entering inside.

Serena turned the engine one and starts driving on the road, heading towards the hill side.

Time skip

At Kalos hill, where the night was beginning to show as the moon gleamed on the wet road.

It was very quiet place where bushy trees were swaying from leaf to right with the cold breezing wind. Then, there were cars driving on the hill road as they drift perfectly through the corners then another, as the cars back wheels span around with water spitting out from it.

Inside the Mazda RX-7 was Serena driving on the driver seat with Ash on the passenger, looking straight ahead.

Serena turns the steering wheel left without hesitation just concentration. While moving the Mazda both her and Ash moved slightly the same turn.

The other cars that were on the hill did the same perfectly without mistakes or crashes although the road was wet to drift but it didn't mind them at all, what's important was the ease and pace.

When Serena makes another turn, pulling the steering wheel to the right, she spoke out, letting her sapphire eyes focus on the night road.

"We used to come up here when we were kids, even before we could drive we'd cut class, sneak out, come up here and watch older kids drift" Serena replied before stepping on the pedal brake and pulls the e-brake handle down to third as she turns the steering wheel with pace and steps her foot on the pedal again with the mazda drifted through the corner with ease without crashing or stopping.

Ash watched her do the drift, he was astounded, he didn't know she could drift that well, also it was better than his drift technique.

"Things were different back then" Serena said.

Ash looks at her, away from the road while she drifts another corner with other cars drifting following.

"Once i got my license, i practically lived up here, back then, kids just drove what ever they had you know, we just made do. no one bothered us," she allocates, while drifting another tight corner with ease without rush or haste, then Ash spoke by watching her do the drift.

"The day i got my license is the day i got my first speeding ticket in kanto," he laughs making Serena let out a giggle "The day after that, i won my first race." he added

Serena made another turn while Ash spoke next "I beat this rich kid by three lengths. I got admit, it felt good" he finished. looking at Serena making another drift turn with a smile plastered on her face.

"it felt like..." Ash trailed off, he couldn't find the words to speak with too much words going through his mind until Serena interrupts.

"like everything else just disappears" she calmly said which made Ash look at her.

"No past, no future"

"No problems" Serena replied the last part of the sentence then pushes the e-brake to forth and looks at Ash "just the moment"

Ash looks at her and smiled as she drifts through a another corner with other cars doing the same turn. the moon shined behind the thick trees as we view the city where building had lights on with the sky fully dark.

With the moon up in the night sky with clouds covering it. Serena drives the Mazda near to Ash father's house and stops the car with the two resting their heads on the seat, letting their body relax with people walking by on the pathway putside. 

Serena felt happiness grew within her, having a great time with Ash who felt the same thing, going on a date and getting a drift from her.

Ash looked at her and smiled "Well, it's time for me go" he said

Serena looked at him and smiled " oh, ok" she replied, still wanted Ash to stay for a couple minutes or maybe longer.

While Ash was looking at her, well wasn't actually. He was looking straight into her sea-sapphire eyes that made him bore inside like being possessed that was controlling his body to move forwards.

Serena followed, leaning forwards, making their body inch closer and closer as she gazes into Ash's auburn eyes with cheeks turning red.

They moved their bodies from CM to inches away from their soft glistened lips, both heads tilted slightly, making it easier to move forward.

Ash was about to kiss Serena by getting up close, his breath flows to Serena's lips, closing their eyes and-.....

hoooooonk!

The two looked at each other, pausing their tracks from leaning forwards and turned their heads to see a bus honking as they were now blocking the drivers way.

Ash shook out the feeling and spoke "Well see ya"he rushed.

Quickly getting out of the car heading to the house while Serena watches him go, sadness swelled in. They were just close from kissing. But, why did her body move on it's own, she couldn't even control herself while she was gazing into Ash's eyes.

Serena slowly starts the engine and drives, speeding away from the quiet street. Ash takes a glance, watching the Mazda go out of sight and entered the house, sliding it open then closed.

Serena was heading towards the arcade, where she parked her car near the building and came out then locks the door.

she walks into arcade with doors slid open. there was still some people playing on the arcade machines, getting money and win prizes from the slots.

When she opens the backroom door and was about to head upstairs, when suddenly someone was in-front which made Serena spook in fright.

"Oh. Calem, you scared me" she said with a fake yet force smile, breathing out a sign of relief. However, when she saw Calem, he was not smiling back, only gave a straighten face with arms crossed, 

"Where did you go" he replied with emotionless tone.

Serena's eyebrows narrowed. why is her boyfriend asking this question, also she can't tell the truth about her so called date with Ash, instead she said "i went out....for some fresh air." she lied.

But Calem was not buying it. He walks closer to Serena and repeated "where did you go." inching closer to Serena's face  who steps back a little.

"i went out Calem" she finally spoke.

"With who" he said, wanted the truth to be spoken out.

"i-i went by myself" she said which made Calem curious then she spoke again "a-and with Dawn" she added. hoping he would buy it.

Calem gave a look and nods before walking away, moving his face and goes out to the door while Serena watches. she gave a sign of relief again, heading upstairs. However, she felt an uneasy nerve swelling inside when Calem was glaring into her eyes.

With Calem who walks out the arcade door and saw Paul sitting on the car's hood.

Calem starts walking up to him mutely.

Which Paul notices, looking up and knew his friend's expression as he sits down beside on the hood.

"What's wrong with you" he said.

Calem went silent for a moment then looks at Paul "How's your date with Dawn" he replied with no emotions.

"Good" was all Paul could say, soon gives a squint look and questioned "Why do you ask anyway"

Calem looks away from Paul to the ground with an anger expression that was raising inside with his hand turning into a fist and spoke "tomorrow," he said, looking up from the ground and spoke out darkly "i'm going to punch that...kid"
