I had to some digging regarding the second minion.

She didn't leave faraway, so I bought some groceries and dressed myself in plain clothes, then headed over.

I knocked and the door was opened by a woman I assume to be her mother.

I bowed. "H-Hi I'm Stacey's friend and I just wanted to check on h-her. Nice to meet you madam"

She looked like she was going to cry. "I'm so happy my baby has a friend like you. Come in. Want some tea?"

I nodded and sat on one of the chairs and looked around.

I don't know how this piece of shit got such a sweet mother like this.

When she served the food she called down Stacey.

Stacey froze when she saw me.

Lunch was delicious I admit, save for Stacey sneaking worried glances at me.

I decided on giving her a second chance. As annoying as she is, I knew that unlike those two she was roped into this mess.

I headed upstairs with her with her mother's permission.

"Your room is so pretty!" I said, making small talk. She nodded meekly. "I'm a friend of Lavender's" I say as I shake her hand.

"I'm Adeline"

"Hi Adeline" she whispered giving a grim smile.

I used my eyes to scan her bag and felt relieved when I saw the drugs.

Seconds later her mother came in with snacks.

I took a deep breath and blurted, "Aunty your daughter has been using drugs!"

Stacey panicked stared at me in disbelief. Her mother searched her bag and brought them out. Before she could slap her I interrupted.

"If I may Aunty, it's not her fault. Two girls from our old college school roped her into this. And the teachers just watched. Please don't be harsh"

At this her eyes softened. "Sweetie, why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't w-want you to worry"

The two hugged  while sobbing. The both of them thanked me.

I took out the company's business card and slid it toward them. "If I may interfere again, I'd like her to work for us. She'll be paid adequately. We want to put her smarts to use"

Her mothers hands shook as she grabbed the card. "Really?"

I nod, feeling myself smile as I gazed at the two.

They hugged me and I froze surprised, then I hugged back.

I waved goodbye, and on my way to the car, I called the ceo and informed him of what happened and I also told him I'd be hiring Markus and Riea and he approved, saying he trusts me.

Anyway speaking of moms...

Let me call mine.

Her voice crackled over the phone's speaker. "Oh sweetie how are you"

I sigh. "OK mom. How about you?"

"Managing, I'm glad you called. I miss my babyyyyy"

"Mom stoppp" I said, making her laugh.

"Hey mom I know this is sudden, but would you like to move into the mansion?"

"Really?!"

I laugh. "Of course"

Fast forward and mom has moved in. Markus, Riea and Stacey were wonderful in doing their jobs at Heuitchsin group Inc.
