Chapter 24: Where are they?
Under the shower spray, Parrish stood in his shower in his home, wondering what happened tonight. He lost time...again. He can't remember what happened, but he looked down at his body and nothing but soot covered his skin. He couldn't understand it. Snapping out of his thoughts, he hears the faint sound of his phone ringing. He gets out of the shower, wrapping a towel around his hips and answers the phone.
"Hello?"
"Where the hell are you?" He hears Deputy Clark's frustrated voice on the other end.
"Home. It's 4:00 in the morning." He says, confused.
"Stilinski's calling everyone in. There's another body." She says.
Parrish's eyes widen, "You mean another murder."

Kira twists her wrist around the cuffs, trying to get comfortable. She looks up and sees her sword, covered with blood. But, she doesn't remember doing this. She hasn't even seen her sword in the last couple of days. Clark continues to finger prints and taking blood samples from the sword as Sheriff comes pacing in. As soon as he sees Kira in cuffs, he looks over to his deputies.
"Somebody get these cuffs off of her." Clark looks at him like he was out of his mind. "If she was actually involved, it was self-defense." He walks over to get the keys, but Kira's parents come into the office behind him.
"That's correct, Sheriff." Mr. Yukimura says.
Everyone turns to his voice, and Kira immediately speaks up.
"Dad...Don't say anything." She says.
Edward moves to sit next to Kira, pulling her into his arms, and giving her a soft kiss, "What happened?" He asks, her softly. She was about to answer, but Mr. Yukimura speaks.
"The sword is mine." He ignores her wishes as speaks directly to Sheriff Stilinski.
"Really?" Sheriff folds his arms over his chest, looking at him in disbelief.
"No, it's not. It's mine." Kira protests.
"I was attacked in my home. I grabbed a replica sword from my collection and defended myself." Mr. Yukimura continues his story.
"And how exactly did the body end up at the McCall's house?" Sheriff waits for an answer for that.
"Apparently, she wasn't quite dead." Noshiko answers.
"Sheriff, I have a call into my lawyer. If you need to take me into custody, I'm happy to surrender myself." Mr. Yukimura says.
"This what you're gonna go with? This is your story?" Sheriff moves to lean in.
"Are you prepared to tell a different one?" Noshiko challenges.
Sheriff wanted the truth finally out, letting the law handle it for once, no more breaking the rules. But, how can he explain it without being thrown into Eichen House himself? He sighs and shakes his head.

The surgeon roughly throws Hayden on to the floor. She withers and groans in pain. What did they do to her? It hurt all over. Groaning and gasping, she tries to move, but she couldn't. The pain was almost unbearable. Liam crawls over to her as the surgeon leaves them.
"Hayden? Hayden, you okay?"
Groaning in pain, she looks over to him, panting hard, "It hurts." She whimpers.
He looks down and sees where they were operating on. Her side hip, where her kidney was. She grips her side, dried black ooze stained her skin. He looks up at him and his heart breaks as she groans again in pain.
"Give me your hand." He says, reaching out for her.
Her hand shakes as she takes his, her breaths coming out heavily from her lips, "There's something Scott does. He can take away the pain." His voice starts to stammer, "I've never done it before, but I can try." He tries to focus on taking her pain away. Concentrating as hard as he could, but it wouldn't work. Both of them begin to groan in pain, Liam was too weak. He lets go of her hand, disappointed in himself.
"I'm sorry." He says.
"Why are they doing this to us?" Hayden asks, fear in her voice.
"I don't know." Liam shakes his head.
He looks over to her, seeing the fear in her eyes. All he wants to do is take away her fear, her pain. Just hold her and take away it all. He reaches and slowly takes her hand again. Holding it close to his chest. He just hopes and prays they both will get out of here soon and get Hayden the help she needs.

(Josie's change of clothes ^^^)
Kira, Josie, and Scott stands in the Sheriff's office, watching Kira's parents talk to Sheriff Stilinski.
"They're not really gonna arrest him, are they?" Josie asks, worriedly.
"He has to. My dad basically confessed." Kira says.
"And you don't remember anything?" Scott asks.
"Nothing. It was like sleepwalking." Kira says.
Josie and Scott frown and look at each other and back to Kira.
"Suddenly I'm just standing out in the middle of the road." Kira explains.
Josie moves to give her a comforting half hug, "Okay, we'll figure it out." She sighs.
"What about Liam and Hayden?" Kira asks.
"We're all meeting at my place to try to come up with something." Scott explains.
"Do you want us to give you a ride?" Josie offers.
"No, it's ok. My mom's taking me home anyway. We have to talk to a lawyer. There's nothing anyone can do right now." Kira shakes her head and rubs the bride of her nose. "You two should go." She says.
Scott sighs, having an uncomfortable look that makes Kira frown.
"Scott..." She snaps him out of his thoughts. "You don't think it was me, do you?" She asks.
"No. No, of course not." He protests.
Kira nods, relieved and moves into Edward's arms. But, Josie didn't miss Scott's eyes trailing over to Kira's sword.
Pretty soon, Kira and Edward took off with Noshiko and Scott gives Josie a lift to his house. Scott didn't say much as they got to the house. He looked almost frustrated. Tense. He storms into the house with Josie trailing behind him.
"Hey, is Kira okay?" Stiles speaks up as Malia and Theo stand next to him.
Scott ignores them and heads upstairs.
"Scott?" Theo asks, confused.
The three of them turn to Josie, but Josie throws her hands up and follows Scott.
Corey sat on Scott's bed as he reads through the copy of the book of The Dread Doctors, "Sorry, I'm only on chapter two...I'm kind of a slow reader." He says, embarrassed.
"Oh, that's okay, Corey." Mason smiles at him.
Scott storms into the room, "He's right. We don't have time for that anyway." He paces over to Corey.
Knowing what Scott was going to do, Lydia screams, "No, Scott, don't!"
But, it was too late, Scott stabs his claws into the back of Corey's neck, into his spinal column. Tapping into his memories. Corey lets out a loud gasp and stiffens as Scott connects with Corey's mind. His eyes blazing blood red.

Hayden sits up with Liam when she gains her strength and helps Liam with the IV stuck in his arm. She grips the tube and begins to pull it out of his body with a loud grunt.
Liam yells in pain as she continues to pull. God, how deep did they go?! She pulled and pulled, till finally the needle tip was out, squirting the liquid everywhere.
"Oh!" Liam shouts and grips the hole in his arm.
"It's all right. I'm sorry, are you okay?" She apologizes.
He shakes his head, assuring her, "It'll heal. We'll both heal." He smiles at her.
She smiles back at him, not realizing the doctor sneaking up on her from behind.
"Hayden!" Liam screams.
Hayden shrieks in fear as the doctors surround them, pulling them apart and holding them down. Hayden screams in pain as a needle is shoved into her neck
"Hayden!" Liam screams again, trying to fight out of the doctors grasps. He lets out a gasps as one of the doctors bring a syringe into his face. "No! No! No!" He pants out as they bring it closer and closer. All he could feel was pain and then darkness took over.

Melissa comes into the station for her official statement and writes out everything she saw and what she knows.
Sheriff looks over it, leaning onto a table.
"This your official statement?" He scoffs.
"Something wrong?" She asks, simply.
"The part about finding the body in your kitchen works fine. But, then, it gets a little confusing when you describe the body as a monstrous Chimera and then go on about werewolves, Banshees, Kanimas..." He says, reading over her statement.
"You're right. I forgot about the Dread Doctors." She says, bitterly and gets up to snatch the form out of his hands and moves to sit at his desk to redo the form.
Before Sheriff could say anything, Deputy Clark burst into the office, "Sheriff, I got the report in about the prank call the other night. The one from the school library. I was gonna file it when I saw the names." She trails off when she sees the tension between the Sheriff and Mrs. McCall.
"Clark, what do you need?" He asks, frustrated.
"I was...I checked on the key cards for the library. They're for after-hours use...Uh...Should I come back later?" She stutters when she sees Melissa starring him down like she wanted to kill him.
"Why are you telling me about library key cards?" Sheriff scoffs.
"The system logged two names right around the time of the 9-1-1 call." Clark explains.
"What names?"
"Theo Raeken...And your son, Stiles." She says.
Sheriff frowns at this information and holds his hand out, "Let me see that." He gestures at the form and reads it over.
"I mean, obviously, Stiles isn't making prank calls to the station." Clark chuckles unevenly.
"I'll deal with it. No more bending the rules for anyone." Sheriff says, looking at Melissa who scoffs in disbelief and stands in front of him with her statement.
"Maybe you should learn to bend a little before someone breaks." She bites out at him and shoves the form in his chest and leaves while slamming the door hard enough to make Clark jump.

Malia, Stiles, Theo, and Josie take off running up the stairs and stops when Lydia holds her arms out to stop them from going any further.
"Don't get too close." She says.
Josie moves to the side, trying not to get close. She frowns at what she sees.
"What is he doing?" She asks.
"Tapping into Corey's memories. It's usually something only Alphas do." Lydia explains.
Theo moves to look closer, eyeing Scott's appearance, body language, "Is it as dangerous as it looks?"
"Probably more." Stiles says.
Josie eyes Theo, he looked almost too curious about this.
"Does anyone know if it's working?" Mason asks.
Josie's phone snaps her out of her thoughts, it was her mom. She looks up at Lydia, giving her the look. Lydia's breath hitches and she waits for Josie to answer.
"Mom?"
"Josie! Listen to me carefully, I did the test and...it doesn't make any sense, we made sure it was from a donor who was 99% comparable to you, but the kidney...it's not. I did this test twice. It doesn't make any sense." Sarah says, she was in complete shock.
"What about the kidney, how comparable is it? Lower?"
"The donor didn't exist! No records of it anywhere. I called the hospital where you had the transplant, they don't have you in their file. It's like someone removed it. Your kidney and the donor's is a perfect match. Almost as if it's a clone of yours. But, it's not a clone. It's too perfect to be a clone. Also, there's something else. Dr. Harrison, the one who supposed to have performed your operation. Josie, he's dead. He died a day before your surgery."
"Then, who the hell cut me open?" Josie exclaims.
"I don't know. But, this is what's bizarre. I cut a piece off of the sample I took and examined it. The cells in the kidney don't match yours. Not completely. You can barely see the difference, yet your body hasn't rejected the kidney at all. No one has seen any hint or sign of rejection, so that's great. The cells concern me, though. When I extracted a piece of your kidney from you, the cells...the cells just died. But, when I was comparing them, a piece of your own kidney mixed with the donor, and...the cells...the cells regenerated. I never seen anything like it. It's like...something out of a sci-fi book. I have a theory. The donor doesn't exist, so far we know. If the donor doesn't exist, then the owner of the kidney must have died a long time ago. But, mix with your DNA...it's like it knows you. It lives for you."
Josie frowns in confusion, her hands start to shake, "So...you think....-gulps- you think they....placed a dead...a literately dead..." She couldn't finish her sentence.
"It's impossible to achieve that, but, the dread doctors have done the impossible already. So...there's a good chance, Jojo."
Josie looks up to Lydia, her color drains from her face. Lydia frowns, waiting for her to say something. "Josie? You ok?"
The room starts to spin and Josie's eyes roll into the back of her head.
"Josie!" Stiles shouts and runs to grab her but Mason catches her before she falls.
"You got her?" Stiles asks as he reaches and grabs her legs as Mason carries her out of the room to the living room and places her on the couch. Mason holds her phone and brings it to his ear.
"Hello? Ms. Thompson? I'm Mason, I'm a friend of...yes, ma'am. Josie...um, she's ok...she...kinda fainted. What happened? What's going on?" Mason asks and listens to what Sarah tells him.
Stiles comes running in with a wet wash cloth and pats Josie's face.
Mason cuts the call, looking down in shock then to Josie.
Stiles looks up, frowning in confusion, "What?"
"The dread doctors did something to her. Something really bad."
"How bad?"
"Stiles, she's got a dead kidney inside her. Usually, donors die before they donate their organs, but, this donor....died a long time ago. Ms. Thompson thinks...this donor died...according to the cellular age...over 300 years ago. It shouldn't be alive."
Stiles eyes widen and they both look down at Josie who lies there unconscious.
(Thought I couldn't post anymore pics. It feels werid to have my stories naked...But, now I can post. Yay)
