3rd person Pov

The Arena was crowded with spectators and guilds from all over Fiore waiting for the games to start. "Welcome to this years Grand magic games people of Fiore, I'm Lola Chapati the comentator, I will give the word now to my co host, Jason from the Sorcerer weekly who's acompanied by his assistant Mio who's currently taking photos of the arena." He exclaimed and motioned to Jason.

"Thank you Lola for inviting us to the games as usual, I've been going around the city getting shots for this weeks sorcerer weekly magazine and I can already tell you what I got may blow up the magic world and fans of our various wizards who are fighting in the games. I telll you, its got it all romance, new people who joined guilds, guilds from other countries, there is everything in it in this weeks edition so don't hesitate to buy it or you will regret, Its so cool cool cool." He shouted and fell of his chair.

In the middle of the arena a person with a pumpkin head apeard. "Welcome people of Fiore to the grand magic games." He shouted and behind him a stone slab raised from the ground. "We will now see the results of last nights power scanning and I can tell you, our eyes fell of when we saw the powers of each guild. The distance between first and last place is huge." He stated and the last place began to spin.

"Ladies and gentlemen on last place we have Blue Pegasus, with a score of 100 thousand, its a bit of a shame but you will understand why shortly when you see who's above them." Out of the gate came Ichia, Ren, Hibiki, Eve and Jenny The next plate stopped revealing Quatro Cerberus with a score of 160 thousand, represented by Bacchus, Rocker, Warcry, Jäger and Nobarly.

The Fairy Tail members on the balcony looked with shock on the chart. Erza was the first to talk and break the silence as all of them had been curious to why exactly 8 guilds partake in this years games and this result was not expected. "Master isn't it strange. Quatro Cerberus belongs to the strongest top guilds, yet they are almost last." She crossed her arms unsure on what other to say.

Makarov gravely nodded, he too thought something wasn't quite right. Quatro Cerberus had one of the Strongest S class mages outside of Fairy tail who wasn't a dragon slayer. The strongest guilds are, Fairy Tail, Saber Tooth, Mermaid Heel, Lamia Scale, Blue Pegasus and Quatro Cerberus, Each of the guilds had mages who could defeat each other and were on par, with exception to the Dragon slayers being above them.

But still it was 6 guilds and not 8 which had them feel uneasy. "Do you think there is an unknown guild from Fiore, one which could have to do with the strange tombs Cana's group has found?" Jellal asked in wonder as he stepped to Makarov who was still silent. He had done his own research on them from everything he could gather. "I'm not aware of any new guilds, my intel on the guilds comes from Mest and he's at the source of all informations regarding legal and Illigal guilds, which thanks to your doing the later are no longer present." He replied and then narrowed his eyes to  two empty arena balconies. "I'm just giving it a possibility but there can only be guilds from outside Fiore who have taken those spots." He replied and Jellal tensed up. 

The whole Fairy Tail guild had only met a handful of guilds outside of FIore and each was a step up more terrefying then the last one. Jellal only shuddered at the thought of having to meet them again.

"Two guilds?" He murmured and then snapped his eyes open. "It couldn't be." Jellal murmured into his breath getting a small side eye by Erza.

The number 6 chart stopped and revealed Mermaid Heel with a score of 240 thousand. "Well looks like the Mermaids dropped down this year, Kagura surely doesn't like it once she sees her guilds score. The beatiful Mermaids are represented by Kagura Mikazuchi, Arana Webb, Beth Wanderwood Reslei law and Milliana." The Mascot exclaimed as he was observed by Hisui attentatively who already had all the guilds known to her only. "Arcadios who do you think will win this years games." She asked and he took a look at her chart. "Considering that fighting inst a major point this time it could be any of them." He replied and she nodded. "I thought as well, which is why we chose just two days for the major fights to happen and the rest are all skill based on the mages brain or endurance." She replied and gazed back to the chart. "Your majesty are you sure you want these two to fight against, isn't it too dangerous?" He asked and Hisui clenched her jaw tight. She let out a worried sigh. "I know it can be dangerous, but that's why we build the strongest magic barrier ever build, we tested it with the new etherion cannon which can was able to hold it with no problem." She replied and Arcadios remained silent.

Number 5 stopped which surprised a lot of people. Lucy was speechless for a bit. "Lamia scale is on 5 with 300 thousand? How, they've got a wizard saint." She exclaimed and the rest of the guild was just as puzzled. Mirajane mused for a bit. "No you forgot it Lucy, Jura is no longer part of them, they are weaker now with new members If Lamia scale is on five,  then the only guild which is on 4 could only be us or Saber tooth." She replied snapping her fingers.

Natsu grinned widely. "I think I know who's here too, I caught a scent yesterday and it can only be her." He replied and Lucy gave him a light glare. "Don't sniff on peoples bodies." She rebuked harshly. "Relax Lucy he didn't go up and sniff her armpit." Happy replied and the guild laughed.

"Yeah, she has a unique scent like mine." He replied and Lucy now gasped. Her eyes trailed back to the chart. "You mean she's here." She whispered and a cold shudder hit her spine. "Why out of all would she come here?" She questioned still scared body shaking.

The number 4 chart stoped to reveal Saber tooth at 500 tousand with Sting, Rogue, Minerva, Orga and Rufus. To everyones shock but only Fairy Tail kept a stern gaze. Mato raised the Microphone again. "Now that 5 guilds are here and all are in the arena its time to reveal the shocking realization we had. The rules this year allowed for the guild master to partake as well and it gave us the desired mix up to what we wanted." He stated and then turned to the empty spot of the Balcony. "Ladies and gentlemen On third place we have with a power of 3 million 226 tousand and 432 the ones and only pure blooded warrior guild, please Welcome Diabolos!" He shouted and the gate opened with thunderous cheers.

Out of the hall walked five people. "I knew I sensed her." Natsu exclaimed and Gajeel nodded in agreement. "Indeed Selene, the guild master of Diabolos and she's doing great it seems." He replied only to get a light tap from Levy.

On Selenes side were none other then the dark Dragon Slayer knights. Kirin, Haku, Suzaku and Misaki "Now then I was asked by Jason to ask you one question Selene. What brought you here to the grand magic games." He asked and Selene took the Microphone of Mato's hand. "To be honest, the only reason why I'm here is to come face to face with the only one who's at my power level, I'm a Dragon God and I have unfinished bussines with the one who calls herself the Queen of Dragons. I know she would be taking part in this." She exclaimed and Mato got excited. "So we can expect a rivalry from the two of you?" He asked and Selene nodded. "Not just a rivalry, I do hope your beatiful city wont be destroyed in our little match." She grinned mischiviously. "We will fight no mater what."

"Then lets head to the next spot. We don't really have a three to one ranking for the last three actualy, we just gave them the spot in order that we got our readings in." He apologized and then an unknown name dropped. On second place we have with a power of 3 million 226 tousand and 432 another warrior guild consisting of only mages that specialize in blank weapon combat, please Welcome the Muramachi Roku, a Guild who traveled all the way here from Japan." He shouted and purple mist coverd the entrance. 

Silence fell over the entire arena. A woman with a purple kimono followed with 4 masked warriors entered the erena slowly.

Mato headed towards them. "You all came here from the far country of Japan but what is the reason for such a journey?" He asked and the microphone disapeared from his hand apearing right in the womans hand. "I was informed that my daughter would be in this country, participating in the games wasn't my original plan but as a mother, I knew my child would love to see me fight, even if its a competition that doesn't require the adversary to die unlike in my country of origin. And she would certainly watch this." She replied and Mato sweatdropped.

"Arcadios aren't those." Hisui asked and the knight nodded. "Royal Samurai? Yes indeed the Muramachi six or Roku are the warriors guard of her majesty, Raiden Ei, the lightning god." He replied and right next to Hisui Makoto walked right up to the railing. "Careful princess Makoto." Hisui called out. "Hey mama, Rouku, I'm up here, I'm fine you don't have to worry." She yelled waving at them.

A black cloud apeared right next to her which formed into a Ninja. "Princes we are here to take you back." A female voice called out and Makoto smiled. "I'm fine Rouku, you can tell mama, I'm coming back on my own with my friends." She stated happily. The Ninja looked confused but backed away back into the arena like it teleported.

Mato headed again into the center of the arena. "Ladies and gentlemen young and old. On first place we have the unbeleavable, the unstopable the unmatched with a power of 3 million 226 tousand and 432 hundred our beloved saviors of Fiore the FAIRY TAIL GUILD; LET ME HEAR YOUR CHEEERS." He shouted and a huge firework exploded.

Y/n Pov

I looked into the arena hearing the Voice of the anouncer yelling in excitement. My chest was thumping from nervousness. "Its time to go guys, all of them are waiting for us." I stated in which Gildarts just grinned widely fistbumping me. We all walked towards the opening gate letting in the bright light. "Remember, we give it our all, we give the people the show they deserve and if we face of against each other in a duel, its no mercy." Irene stated proudly. We all nodded. "I do hope ther's a drinking competition this time." Cana exclaimed and smirked. 

A gigantic arena with enough space for a small village spread in front of me making me look in awe at it. We waved at the cheering crowd, fireworks going off right as we stepped outside. There had to be close to 50 tousand people here. "Here they are the mages of the Fairy Tail Guild, Cana Alberona, Gildarts Clive, Wendy Marvell, Irene Belserion and Y/n Silvia, two new recruits of the guild." Mato shouted with his open hand to us. 

We all turned around to see our guild right at the top of our entrance with Natsu swinging a Fairy Tail banner. My eyes moved to the right seeing my family there. My mother, my father my sister and my little brother. I couldn't be more happy about this. "Show them how strong your are Onii-chan." Miku shouted out loud. Master Makarov looked down to us proudly. "I know Mavis is watching over us right now." He said and we nodded. "I'm guessing the contestants want to talk to each other don't they?" Mato asked in wonder.

Irene took the microphone of his hand. "There is no need for pointless talking but I'm here together with Cana, Gildarts, Wendy and Y/n to win this years competition no mater what it takes." Irene yelled looking towards Selene and Ei. "And you two will fall on your knees and aknowledge me as the most powerful mother and ruler." She stated and Jason ohed.

The Micro of the anouncer screetched. "You heard them, the top three teams have all something in common, its a battle between powerful mages, its a battle for fun, its a battle between 3 women having beef with each other. Who's going to win, who's going to lose, that's what we will find out." He shouted and Mato got his Micro back.

"Now then, all contestants should go to their designated areas please, we will begin shortly with the first game." He anounced.

"What do you think it will be?" I looked to Cana as she was the only one of us present in the last game. She shrugged. "I don't know, no one knows it until all the contestants are chosen for the game, the only thing we get is the name and nothing else." She replied as we headed up the stairs on the inside.

We walked right up to our friends and I went to my family. "Hey, how are you all?" I asked and my little sister hugged me. "We are fine big brother, but you worried us a bit?" She replied almost crying.

My mouth dropped a bit from shock. "Why would you worry?" I asked and my mother just gave me a slight smirk. "We have been keeping up with one of your freinds about you." She replied and I instantly looked over to Irene who just gave me a sly smile. She raised her hands defensively. "I couldn't object to her demands after she bribed me." She replied offended which only confused me more.

I knotted my eyebrows in confusion. "She bribed you with what?" I asked bewildered. I didn't expect Irene to be bribable at all. She fidgeted around a bit. "Well. . ." She adverted her eyes looking to the ground fiddling with her pointer fingers. "She bribed me with a strawberry cake, I couldn't help it, its scent was so freaking strong when she placed it right in front of me and you know we dragon slayers can smell desserts from miles away." She replied her voice high pitched and full of embarressment.

I paled from shock. She's that easy to bribe!? "I thought and caught a wiff of something sweet. I looked again to her and she was munching on stuffed cookies. "She's always eating isn't she?" I asked and Gildarts nodded. "On every mission she's constantly munching snacks, sweets and dessets, Its funny how she never gains any wieght." He exclaimed and Irene seemed a bit offended. "But that makes her only more intriguing." He added and she gulped down the last piece. "I really can't help it and if I find something I need to taste it, you probably can guess why." She replied and I shook my head in a no. "Not really." I replied and Cana tapped Irene's shoulder. "Let me explain this to him." She replied and Irene nodded as she was already munching her next sweet treat.

Cana pulled me to the side. "Irene hasn't tasted anything for the majority of her life, she spent 400 years as a dragon basicaly hybernating and never showing herself, before that she used to be a normal human for I think about 18 years until she was tortoured for 3 years with Erza growing inside of her, after those 400 years Zeref turned her back into a human. What she didn't know is she couldn't taste anything and by that point she was destroyed emotionaly completely. She endured pain and suffering for so long and only recently she's able to taste something at least." She replied and I now understood why she was like that.

"How was she before being cured?" I asked and Cana bit her cheek looking a bit uneasy. "Think about the worst mass murderer psychopath and turn that up to infinity and that's barely describing her." She replied and looked calmly at me. "So she was crazy right, I asked and Cana still kept her normal look. "Was? Darling, the whole guild is full of people that have a screw lose." She replied and sipped on a drink. "Irene used to turn litle children into insects and step on them in front of their parents, if that's not insane I don't know what else, but she was not herself at that time, she lost her sanity and is just now curing from it and she's doing good." Cana added smiling softly.

I got more intrigued by the second. "What were the strangest thinghs she did in the guild?" I asked and Cana chuckled. She once used a whip to punish Natsu and Gray in front of the whole guild only in their underwear. She might be a bit sadistic but now we know where Erza got that from." 

I made a mental note to never piss off Irene as I did not want to be one of her victims. "Well at least I know I'm in the right guild, my life doesn't differ from the others a lot I think." I replied and she kissed my cheek gently. "Not a single bit." She whispered and looked into the arena to Mato.

"Now please listen carefully, our next game will be called 'Mistery murder.' You have 5 minutes to decide who to chose." He exclaimed and a large clock apeared right at the center.

Mistery murder. That could give us something at least. "It certainly has to do with a murder but what kind of game is it. Will we have to solve who of the contestants made the murder or will we have to solve an already existing murder." I exclaimed. "Well, all I know is we shouldn't throw in just anyone." I said and Irene nodded. "That's true, at first glance this game would immediately mean that we'd have to put in the most experienced mage." Irene chimmed in. "But that could also weaken us later on as you can't be chosen again for later games." Gildarts retorted.

A/n: That's it for today, who would you chose for this game that has only the name Mistery murder as a clue?" I've already decided on the one I will be using.
