"Hey new girl! What are you doing checking out my Niko?" Said a girl, not so far away from us.

She flashed her amber eyes at me, daring me to make a comeback. Instead, I rolled my eyes and kept walking with Niko.

Ignore her. She likes to cause problems. Just don't cross her path. You will definitely regret it.

Speaking of being close, I had just noticed how close Niko and I had been standing to each other. Luckily, we had reached the part of the castle where mostly everyone slept.

"Would you like to take the stairs?" Niko asked politely.

After he dropped me off at the rooms, he handed me my keys and other essentials.

When I walked into my room, the first thing that caught my eye was the lamp. How pretty! It was one of those vintage faded lamps with the chain you can pull. Then came the curtains. They look exactly like the ones Mama had in her room! I felt a knot twisted up in my stomach.

"I am too old to cry" I said to no one.

Then, I saw the queen sized bed. It looked so comfy! I jumped right in and dug under the covers. Can't wait till tomorrow.(just kidding!)
