Epilogue

10 years later...

"One for you, Stella and one for you Ethan." I hand two yellow flowers to each of the little rascals, smiling as they run towards the graves.

"Mommy! Can I put this one on top?" Stella asks, her hazel-green eyes looking up at me as she bounces up and down. Her black curls bounce along with her, illuminated by the rising sun.

"Yeah, I want to too!" Ethan also says, running towards me.

I look at his deep green eyes and ruffle his auburn hair as I nod.

"Mommy said I can do it!" He yells, running towards Stella.

She screams, running in the other direction.

"Hey! HEY! I said no running around the graves!" A loud voice says, scooping up Ethan and Stella.

"Just let them be. They are children after all, hun." I say to my husband, sitting on a small boulder behind me.

"Exactly why I need to discipline them. You rest now, I'll babysit. You do have another one coming, so you'll need as much rest as you can get."

I watch as Niko places both kids down and allows them to put the flowers on the grave. He then let's them go, making sure they don't cause much havoc. After a while, they are occupied and Niko comes back to me.

"Ah, my lovely wife. Feel any kicks lately?" He says, kissing my hand and feeling my stomach.

I quickly blush and hide my face, responding with a quiet."No, not yet."

"Well then tell me when you do. I want to know how strong my next child will be." I laugh as Niko smiles, caressing my cheek.

He then gives me a quick peck on the forehead, walking over to where the kids are.

I take one last look at the gravestone, feeling a tear roll down my cheek. Although it happened ten years ago, the memory was still fresh in my mind. Because of Estefano, I am alive. I survived that day. I already knew that I couldnt beat Alfred, no matter how much I trained. Only someone like my father or mother could possibly beat him. Speaking of which, the true story was revealed through Myra herself, whom was actually a double agent. I still questioned her, but I eventually listened. She had to grasp my attention along with Niko in order for the plan to work. Hence why she was so 'terrible.'

She had told me that a long time ago, Alfred had fallen in love with my mother. While he was in love, he had a vision about a great power that came from my mother. Filled with greed, he leeched onto her, keeping her constantly busy and keeping her all for himself. This happened for about a year. At the time, he was confident he had gotten my mother, but what he didn't know was that my mother had been secretly meeting another man. My father.

They bonded quickly, and soon fell in love after realizing they were perfect for each other. However, the day they left, Alfred planned to surprise my mother with a gift. Finding her room empty, he grew cold and was instantly infuriated. Blinded by rage, he cast a dangerous spell that caused a plague to spread across the land, killing thousands. Unfortunately, my mom caught the disease just days before giving birth to me. It's hard for me to believe that Alfred was terribly grief stricken and didn't mean to kill my mother, but the past is the past. It might be better to forget than forgive in this situation. Some things just don't turn out to be that way they seem.

"Jennifer!" I hear a familiar voice yell and turn around.

"Marc!" I also yell, getting up and cautiously making my way up to him.

When we meet, I hug him softly and he does too, conscious of my growing stomach.

"Y-y-you're pregnant already?" He stammers, looking me up and down.

"Y-yeah this actually the thir-"

"-Jennifer!" Another voice greets me, and I am thoroughly surprised.

"I don't think I ever introduced myself while I had been with you. My name is Rosie. Rosie Valentine." She says, holding her hand out to me.

As I shake it, I realize the other hand is holding Marc's.

"Are you two-?"

"Y-yes, engaged actually." Marc beams, hugging the maid I saw beforehand and showing me the ring.

"I honestly believed you were much older." I admit, laughing along with them. "Now you look even younger!"

"Ah, yes. It was a curse put on me as I worked in that terrible place. I saw your good intentions, so I made you an indestructible dress that allows the wearer to heal themself instantly if ever hurt." Rosie explains.

"Jennifer? Is it really you?" I hear another voice ask.

I turn around to face Bree, hugging her tightly and seeing that she is also pregnant. She also cut her long black hair, now reaching her shoulders.

"It's been so long!" She exclaims, throwing her hands up in the air and grabbing on to my shoulders.

"I know! I didn't even know that you had children as well."

From behind Bree is Cameron, holding on to the shoulders of another little girl. Their freckles are almost identical.

"Come on Molly, it's okay. She is your mommy's best friend." Cameron says, trying his best to convince her.

She's just like Bree.

"It's okay. I won't hurt you. I have kids your age too. You can then maybe become best friends." I say, looking into her deep brown eyes.

She takes another step back, burying her face into Cameron's arms. I quickly laugh and turn away, meeting another familiar face. Taylor?

He is standing next to another guy who kisses him on the cheek. I act as if I don't notice, smiling as he blushes.

Awww

I sigh to myself, content with how things have turned out to be. Many years ago, I never imagined such a life. I remember the day that we all separated, in search for our own lives. Alfonso went back to live in our old house while Juan went off to go on his own adventure. I haven't heard much from Myra. She may have done me a favor, but just the raw coldness gets to me. We aren't exactly "friends." I forgave her, but...

I suddenly hear a screech and look behind me.

"The egg! It's hatching!" Cameron yells, carrying Molly in one arm and pointing with his other.

I recognize the large grey egg from years ago, it's outer shell starting to crack. Everyone starts to gather around the egg, watching as it begins to open up. I quietly gasp as a tiny snout appears from a crack, followed by big yellow eyes and a small grey head. Two little horns protrude from its little head, highlighting all the other glistening grey scales.

Krr krr

A chorus of "awe's" erupt among us as the baby Dragon opens its mouth, as if imitating a yawn.

If only Estefano and Stella could witness this moment. Even as dragons, I'd imagine them beaming and proud of their child.

I feel a hand on my shoulder and immediately know it's Niko. He beams at me, eyes bright and cheery. Behind him are my two children, hiding from the egg. Laughing, I give Niko a quick kiss before turning back around

Peering down at the creature, I smile as it eyes me curiously.

Well, this is it.

I have made it this far. I've protected the egg.

Estefano's egg.

I have followed the true path I was destined to follow.

Not to get revenge, but to instead change things.

To defend and protect what is mine.

I am finally a true Dragon warrior.

Hey guys! Hope you enjoyed that little epilogue. It took me a while to make, mostly because of trying to make things up. Here are a few facts.

1. I was going to make Marc have a child... just one.

2. Bree was going to have like eight children, but I wanted to keep her shy personality.

3.Taylor was going to be with Myra, but I wanted some spiciness in the story. (Different sexualities) I also felt like it just wouldn't be right.

4.The baby Dragon was going to imprint on Juan or Marc, but I couldn't choose... so neither happened.

Just so you all know now, there will not be a sequel to the book. This was merely a 'draft' book that I used to start off on wattpad and improve. There will be alternate endings, but that will happen in about a week or more depending on the situation. Well... um- don't forget to vote...

Thx 4 Reading!!
