Dragons
To tell you the truth, the spa actually wasn't that bad. From what I have experienced, something bad always happens. Wherever I go, something is either crashed by someone or something. This time, things were different. I was mostly expecting some sort of disruption of some sort, like a wild dragon to come crashing in, but no. The day actually went by smoothly.
"Do we have the dragon riding classes today?"
"Yes, in just about and hour or so. "
Bree and I were currently in my room, searching random stuff on our phones. Later on, I would have to prep my self for dragon riding classes.
"Pizza?" Bree asked, pointing towards a picture
"You know me so well."
*******
"Mmmm. This is soo good." I said, currently shoving a slice of pizza in my mouth. It had a weird taste, but it was still delicious.
"I know right!"
Bree was also enjoying it, even though she was more of a vegetarian.
With my phone in one hand and pizza in the other, I did a quick search about dragons. Turns out there are 3 classes of dragons. Tamable, Wild, and Unknown. In the Tamable class, there are 4 elements. They consist of the basic fire, water, earth, and dark dragons. As you may suspect, dragons in the Wild class aren't tamable, or at least are hard to tame. They consist of dark, poison, and fire dragons. The last class, Unknown, is same as it's name says. Unknown. It's pretty rare to come across such types of dragons. The Unknown class consists of mist, water, and void dragons. Here is a bit more of info of the entire website.
Tamable Class
Fire- Hertwing, Blazedrum, Leatherback
Water- Galaxwing, Ixryu, Locnet
Earth- Wallouix, Golwing, Naturlite
Dark- Zercion, Ancuion, Xerculis
Wild Class
Dark: Ancuion, Cripplewing, Uviltine
Poison: Viperwing, Slashskull, Lotuis
Fire: Goldrose, Inferitous, Hertwing
Unknown
Mist: Articul, Vapurous, Typherious
Water: Iceroot, Lazuli, Retaw
Void: Retipuj, Noidesop, Enutpen
"You found it yet?"
"Found what?"
"What type of Dragon Estefano was."
I forgot that I was looking for Estefano's dragon type.
"Oh......I just got a bit carried away."
For one thing, I knew Estefano was loyal.
Must be part of the Tamable class. I thought.
Scrolling through the pictures, I scanned for similar traces of Estefano. Similar wings, talons, or anything that could lead me to him. If I could find Estefano, I could find a link to my mom and my family. Quickly devouring another slice of pizza, I looked down once again, surprising myself with some actual information. Right on the screen was an image with a dragon identical to Estefano. It was labled as..... Inferitous?
"What's wrong?" Bree asked, a puzzled look on her face.
"Well..... according to this picture, Estefano is an Inferitous." I said, showing her the image.
"So he's a Wild class fire dragon?"
"That's what I'm guessing, but something doesn't seem right."
"What do you mean?"
Pressing the back button on my phone, I search up the type and class of the dragon. Then, I showed it to Bree.
Inferitous
Class: Wild
Type: Fire
Description: A very dangerous and wild flying dragon that lives in groups of two or solo. Can be found living deep in a cavern or near the ridge of a volcano. Is able to spit flames hotter than 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit when aggravated. If tamed, this dragon is fiercely loyal to it's owner or to the being that saved it. Do not approach fema-
"Wait.... that doesn't really make sense." Bree said, leaning over.
"What? What doesn't make sense?"
"You said he's loyal, but fierce.... I don't think so..."
Bree was right. Estefano never harmed anybody. Well, not that I knew of.
"I think it's time." Bree said, pointing to the clock on the wall.
"Let's go then." I replied, licking my lips. That pizza was good.
As we walked to the training grounds, I noticed something different about the plants. The sunflowers that once towered above me now at my level. Had I grown? I stopped for a moment to analyze my surroundings. The flowers and bushes were suddenly tiny. When I turned around, I saw a tiny smiling Bree. Then I realized something...... I was floating!
"What the....AAAHHHH"
"What are you screaming about?" Bree asked, watching me helplessly stumble through the air.
"I'm....flying!"
"Yes.... isn't that normal for you?"
"Last time I-uh-checked..... No!"
"Oh, well I guess you don't know about the melvine."
"Melvine? Is that what you put in my pizza?"
By that point, I had managed to grab on to a tree branch, pulling myself back to the Earth
"Melvine in the dragon language means "Hover pizza." That is the name of the pizza."
I took a moment to think.
"So you're telling me that there are different pizzas that give you magical powers for short periods of time?"
"Yup."
With slow practice, I was able to slide across the ground, hovering only a few inches into the air. This process, however took many ups and downs.......meaning I fell on my butt more than once.
"It'll help you during training." Bree said, walking over to the door in front of us.
Just as I was about to open it, I asked Bree a question.
"How come you're not hovering?"
She looked at me with a confused expression. When she did understand, she laugh and then rose a few inches in the air.
"I can do it too, it's just that I can control it."
With that, she opened the door for me, ushering my inside. Inside was a large colosseum-like structure that went up in rows of chairs. In the middle was an even larger grassy area that was protected by a strong glass-like dome. You could hear the grumbling and roaring of the dragons in their cages. It was nothing like a fight, but instead a training place for the riders to train and mount their dragons. Just a few seconds later, a short man came up to us with a clipboard in his hand. He had tiny little green eyes and ginger-like hair, matching with his green sweatshirt and shorts. No offense, but he reminded me of a small leprechaun...... just without the hat.
"What's yer name?" he asked, in a strange accent.
"Bree Adamier and Jennifer Cruzalez." Bree replied, confidently standing.
With a grunt, he scribbled our names on the paper and pointed to a nearby stand.
"Ya'll er be right over thar in the- "
He checked his clipboard again. Then, he scratched the stubble on his chin.
"There seems to be a mistake... Oh! Hold on.. you gals belong in the Orange tent."
He pointed again, this time to a large tent with orange flaps covering the seats. Just as we walk towards the tent, I notice something. There's something familiar about the girl standing near the entrance, her back facing us. When I did recognize her, I wish I had never come to training.
"Hello, Jennifer."
