"I'm gonna getcha!"

I chuckle as my husband runs after my two children, like a child himself.

Amanda plunges into the water, rising up immediately and waving at me.

"Look mommy! I can swim really good!" Her straight blond hair is bright in the sun, a great difference to the green-ish blue lake water.

"AAAAAH." Laughter bubbles inside of me as I watch Martin scream and splash around in the water, curly auburn hair bobbing up and down

Marc quickly picks him up, displaying a short purple tail.

"W-why do I have a tail?" He stutters, waving it around

"Why don't I have a tail?" Amanda asks, pouting.

"Well, you will get your tail eventually." Marc begins to explain. "I got my tail when I was just 2. Your mom got her tail when she was 18, so don't you worry Amanda."

"Mommy has a tail?" Both of them ask in unison, turning to me.

I laugh at their surprised faces, nodding.

"Can I see! Can I see!" Amanda squeals, swimming towards me.

"Of course, honey." I say, getting up and cautiously making my way down to the water.

"Careful." Marc says, putting down Martin and walking towards me.

He helps me over the rocky area and into the water. Once I am inside, I show Amanda my bright red tail.

Entertained, the two kids, look and play with it as Marc whispers in my ear.

"How's the baby?"

"Great." I say, feeling my stomach.

Marc does the same, caressing my stomach ever so carefully, as if it were made of glass.

After a quick peck on the lips, Marc goes to the two children as I go back to shore.

I let the water carry me, my tail floating upwards every now and then. Looking up, I take in the glamorous sky and puffy clouds.

As for the Dragon egg, it hatched just a few days ago, now being taken care of by Niko. If i wouldn't have had another child, I probably would've taken care of it. But I know it's in good hands.

I'm glad things have turned out to be this way. I'm glad that I was the Dragon Warrior.

Okay, so this was very rushed, (if you couldn't tell already) but mainly because of a terrible thing I have done. I feel extremely terrible for mixing it up, so I therefore dedicate this chapter entirely to Rynea10. Happy Super Late Birthday!
