Y/N's apartment, Y/N POV~

Jeez, the last time I should be doing my work on my house is never but, Karma comes biting back. I'm in my personal study just finishing up some leftover work from the neighboring company as a bonus work from my "Raise". 

Still, this is WAY too much work. I think I should take a break.

So, I stood up from my seat, closed my laptop and organized my papers, then I walked out to see...

Y/N: TOHRU!!!!!!!!!!!

Timeskip to Y/N finishing the last paperwork until an employee came and gave him more work~

The reason I screamed at Tohru is because she and Kanna, whom I slightly scolded, bent most of the spoon we have.

Y/N: So, kindly explain why the sudden heart?

To my surprise, Kanna defended Tohru by showing me a show they were watching. It was a magic show of a performer bending the spoon using minimal force.

Y/N: Ah, you don't know "Esper Powers"?

Tohru and Kanna: "ESPER"!!!!!?????

Y/N: So, you don't know... Here let me show you an example...

I said while walking to the kitchen and grabbing the last spoon. Using the science and my "Skills", I bent the spoon with minimal effort while also using science and the laws of leverage.

Tohru: Wha...

Kanna: Whoa, cool...

They're still amazed, they should've seen me in my old days. The good old days...

Y/N: Why are you two amazed? This is practically the bare minimum of a regular human.

Tohru: Bare minimum?

Y/N: If a human can put as much effort into these kind of things, like the magician you both saw in T.V, then they too can do such tasks, Like what I did.

It's true. If there weren't any "Lazy" humans in the past, We would've done amazing things. If we didn't believe in any Gods, we could've advanced our Technology Ten-Fold. But, alas. "Where other men blindly follow the truth, Remember, nothing is true. Where other men are limited by morality or law, Remember, everything is permitted." Best quote ever.

When I finished with my train of thoughts, Tohru had an intense stare with blood-lust brooding out of her.

Y/N: Hey now...

Just as I was getting to her, Kanna came up to Tohru with book I bought 9 years ago that showed instructions on how do the "Esper powers" the Magician did on T.V. To be honest, it was a bust and a waste of money as most of them contained bogus tricks and different languages on instructions.

Tohru: Impressive find, Kanna. With this, we can achieve those powers...

Kanna: Mmmm....

Tohru: Y/N, would you like to come?

Tohru faced me as I gave her my answer.

Y/N: Yeah, sure. I need a break anyway.

Tohru: Great. I'll put them back together now...

She then used magic to fix all of the broken spoons.

Y/N: 'She doesn't even need Esper powers if she can do that on a whim. So, why?'

And so, the following scenes happened.

Another is balancing on a rock with one hand on top of a pond and meditate but Kanna chose the Indian style and Tohru was the one balancing. I was left to the ground to see them and they're really going through this.

Kanna: Big Brother, I'm hungry...

Kanna called to me as grabbed some chips from my bag.

Y/N: Get down from there to eat.

Tohru: Fufufu... You have a weak mind Kanna.

Soon, Kanna got down from there and went up to me. She opened her mouth as I grabbed a piece of a snack until...

Tohru: WAIT!!!

She ran from her former position and at me with a surprised look.

Tohru: I ALSO WANT SOME!!!!

So, I gave her some...weirdly....

And so, they continue...

From days on end and achieved....

Tohru: No way....

All of it...

Tohru: Why can't I do it?!

Meaningless...

Y/N: Tohru...

Tohru: No, I will continue. I won't stop until I can finnaly do it.

Y/N: Tohru.

Tohru: I wonder if I should continue thus for years...

I've had enough. So I went up to her and grabbed her by the shoulders as I looked at her eyes.

Tohru: Y-Y-Y/N-N-N...?

Y/N: Tohru.

I looked at her straight while I gave her my comforting gaze.

Y/N: You don't need Esper magic to do thing human can do. You can do many thing without Esper powers and I'm sure your powers are much better than them. So don't try to do something unimaginable.

Tohru: But... The spoon...

I looked back at the new spoons she bought as an apology for breaking the ones a few days ago and smiled.

Y/N: You still want to learn that?

She weakly nodded with a look of sadness.

Y/N: Well, it won't do any damage for one simple trick, right?

I smiled at her as I grabbed one of the spoons and had Tohru's hand counteract with mine to show what I did.

She followed every step I told her and held my hands in order for her to get the technique done and...

Y/N: Done, now try it out.

She nodded as she bent the spoon with minimal force and looked dumbfounded.

She looked at the spoon and back at me with a look of un-satisfaction.

Tohru: That's it?

Y/N: Some trick are more complicated but, yeah, that's it. See what I mean?

I grabbed the spoon and bent it to its original place and put it with the rest of the spoons.

Y/N: Magic and Esper have common things but major differences. Magic requires Mana and a built body in order to harness its powers, while Esper is a slight of hand and science to gain its knowledge. If these two forces collide, it will cause confusion to the user and lose both at the same time. So, its best if you done one only, Okay?

Tohru looked at me with respect and smiled.

Tohru: Yes. Thank you, Y/N.

She smiled cutely at me as I blushed from it.

Y/N: W-Well. As long as you don't break anything, its fine for me.

She giggled as I smiled once more. Never have I thought a Dragon can make me smile...
