It takes place at the Maheswaran house, before Connie met Steven. Connie is four years old, still a happy and sweet innocent child, she was playing with her toys until suddenly she heard her parents arguing again.

Douglas and Priyanka Maheswaran have been arguing for almost an entire year now.

Priyanka: You're cheating on me, aren't you? with that woman that you say is your patient

Douglas: No!! You're being paranoid

Priyanka: Then explain these red lipstick marks on your shirt?

Douglas: That's red ink from my broken pen

Priyanka: Ink doesn't form this

Douglas: You know something, I had it from here, you've been nothing but a pain in the neck, I want a divorce

Connie overheard what her father said, she cried in the floor of her room. A month later Connie's parents got a divorce, Connie's life would never be the same again.

Connie: *Crying* Daddy please don't go

Douglas: I'm sorry Connie but mommy and I don't love each other anymore, don't think that it's your fault because it's not, never forget that you'll always be my baby girl

Douglas left the house and he was never seen again. It's now been five months since the divorce, Priyanka has actually been doing really well as a single mother and doctor, she's been taking good care of Connie but she also knew that she needed a fatherly figure.

After a long day of working in the hospital, she went to a local diner to get something then she someone when they both tried to grab the salt shaker.

Joshua: Oh sorry, I did't see that you were grabbing the same salt shaker

Priyanka: That's alright

Joshua: Are you ok?

Priyanka: Not really, my husband cheated on me and left me and my daughter for some young skank

Joshua: Well he's a fool for leaving a beautiful woman like you

Priyanka: *Blushes* Thank you

Joshua: How old is your daughter?

Priyanka: She's four years old

Joshua: I can't believe that bastard has the guts to abandon a child like that

Priyanka: You have kids of your own?

Joshua: Yeah four, Leo, Donna, Chozen and Jake, they're my adopted children but raising them makes it all worth while

Priyanka: That's noble of you

Joshua: My name is Joshua Lee Jones but friend call me Joshua Lee for short

Priyanka: Priyanka Maheswaran, it's a pleasure to meet you

Joshua: Pleasure to meet you too

Joshua and Priyanka talked for a little while longer and decided to head home but Priyanka's car broke down and she asked Joshua for a ride home, he agreed of course and transformed into his true form.

Priyanka: You're....a dragon

Joshua: Yes, I am not a human but a chinese dragon

Priyanka got on Joshua's back and flew her back to her and not only that, he also dropped her car at repair shop.

Priyanka: Thank you

Joshua: Any time

Priyanka: Will I see you again?

Joshua: Yeah my kids and I just moved into the neighborhood

Priyanka: See you later then

Priyanka entered her house and she fell in love again but will it last?.
