Adelmerian Court - The only Juvenile Court in the world (for people less than 20 years of age). The ti-eglor usually heads this. In case of there not being a ti-eglor yet, other members of the royal family of magic-kind take the responsibility.

Adelmiro Circle - There are three scores of higher schools scattered across the world. The biggest in the world and global empire is Adelmiro Circle, sometimes referred to as 'The Little Circle' due to it being a world of its own. Children of the most affluent families get offers from here at sixteen. Graduating from here guarantees high paying jobs in administration and empire building. Most people cannot afford this or any higher schools for that matter and resort to skill related jobs instead. 

Blood moon - A crimson moon phenomenon that occurs once in three years. It has energy enhancing properties. It is also known to sexually stimulate mortals. Dragon-kind are asked to take shelter during such nights as the chances of their true selves being revealed are greater due to the moon's powers. 

Camouflaging spells - Created by the magic-kind. Allow the user to camouflage an object. The three witches and their descendants help dragon-kind with such spells. Meredith uses it to hide her bracelet. Camouflaging spells only work until there is no suspicion of its existence. If another person begins to doubt that such a spell may have been used, the spell breaks. 

Champion of Hecate - The most favoured magic-kind of Hecate. There have been four champions till date, making them very rare. There's usually only one in a generation. They are extremely powerful as well loyal to Hecate. The first champion was Seon Uchigi, her son with a mortal. 

Circle - The global empire. Most of the world comes within the extent of the Circle. It has a unique political system headed by the eglor. For more information, turn to: The Political System.

Council - The governing body of the Circle headed by the eglor. Makes all the key decisions. According to a pact made, it consists of the rulers of every echelon in order to keep the best interests of all people at heart. 

Cockroach - A unique species of unknown origin. Apparently has survived for millenia and will continue to do so due to their high passion for continuation of their kind.

Creatures of divinity - Animals that are kept as pets or modes of transportation by deities. Due to their divine nature, cannot enter spaces of darkness. 

Dark magic - Any magic that extracts power from dark elements of nature such as chaos, destruction and carnage.

De - A term used by a younger person to refer to an older person with respect. Also means, 'senior in skill, experience or age' as well as 'brother'.

Deities - Higher entities: gods and goddess' who live in Liremia. Although more powerful and worshipped by mortals, they have emotions quite similar to the ones that worship them. Some of them have relationships with mortals. However, this is rare. 

Dragon clan - After the fall of the Dragon empire, dragons everywhere were hunted and killed by the magic-kind. Those who survived, gathered together and referred to themselves as a 'clan' due to their small numbers. 

Dragon-kind - Dragon shifters, believed to be extinct. Before their loss of power, they were the most powerful species to exist. 

Dragon-kind elders - The oldest surviving dragons. They know a great many things and are highly regarded by the ruling family of Dragomirs. They act as advisors to the rulers. 

Dragon Empire - The empire that existed a millenium ago. It was ruled by the Dragomirs. The empire fell when the dragons were overthrown by the magic-kind. 

Dungeons of Adelmiro Circle - Once housed the hunted dragons who were tortured to reveal the location of others. But that fact was covered up by the Council back then. Currently used as common rooms by vampires. 

Echolocation - The ability that some rare species such as dragons have to shoot out their energy and locate objects in their path using the echoes that they receive. 

Elder witch - The oldest surviving witch. Most experienced in magic and the most powerful magic-kind until Ryne surpassed her. 

Energy - The power that all supernaturals have within them. 

Energy sealing bracelet - Winds up the energy of a supernatural like a spring and keeps it concealed. Any supernatural who uses it gets reduced to a human. 

Fae - Mysterious kind who dwell in the Northern forests. They look unearthly and hold ancient mystic powers. Not much is known about them. They became a part of the Circle due to their diminishing resources. Believed to be more powerful than they let on. 

Global Constitution - The book of law that applies to all the citizens of the Circle. 

Global Penal Code - A book detailing all the crimes against the Circle and the punishments for them. 

Goddess Aine' - The goddess worshipped by the fae. A close associate of Hecate.

Human echelon - The lowest ranking echelon in the Circle. They have special clauses in the Constitution to protect them. The human echelon is ruled by a king who has four generals under him. The king although a member of the Council, answers to the the eglor. 

Iodoro forest - An ancient forest in heart of the continent. Believed to hold all the mysteries of the world. A human tribe has stayed hidden there for centuries now. 

Lake P'Koi - The campus lake of Adelmiro Circle. Gets it name from P'Koilia, a mythical water serpent. 

Land of night - A fabled region in Liremia said to have formed from pure chaos. Completely dark and vicious. No light spells work here. Creatures of divinity cannot enter this land. Deities however, are free to move about. 

Light magic - Magic that extracts power from light elements of nature. All magic-kind use this as their primary form of magic. 

Liremia - The realm of gods and goddess'.

Local school -  Schooling until the age of fifteen is done here. There are many local schools funded by the royal family. Primary education is compulsory for all. However, some affluent families choose to have governesses instead. 

Lord Dragomitus - The great dragon god worshipped by all dragon-kind. Has been missing since a millenium. 

Magic-kind - The highest ranking echelon. Consists of warlocks and witches.

Magic-tongue - The language that magic-kind use for their spells as well as to talk amongst themselves. 

Marks - Created on the bodies of offenders by a seal given to every echelon head. It is a form of punishment. For more information, refer to image in: Never Bow Down

Moon Festival - A sacred venereal festival celebrated by werewolves during a blood moon. Grants them more energy and makes them powerful.

Mute spell - Spells casted without speaking the magic-tongue. Magic-kind who can cast mute-spells are very rare and very powerful.

Odih - A species who worship the Great Rabbit. They are known for their red hair and timid personalities. They get scared easy and do not like taking risks. In very emotional states, their eyes glow red. 

Passage - The pathway between realms.  A huge void of nothingness. While it isn't exactly harmful to travellers, it can be disorienting due to not having the concepts of time, space and light. 

Perwaldian chains - Chains that are used to shackle the most powerful entities. They can only be seen by the caster as well as other equally powerful beings. 

Phase of the lion - One of the three phases of Hecate. She tends to have a virtuous and noble temperament during this phase. 

Phase of the scorpion - One of the three phases of Hecate. She tends to be vicious and poisonous in words and actions during this phase. 

Rite of Prayer - A ceremony held in praise and celebration of a deity. Usually ends in an invocation of their presence. 

Rosa - The centre of the Moon Festival. The male wolves vie for the rosa who is the prize of a competition between them. The winner gets her. The other female wolves choose from the rest of the contenders.

Siren - A fish/bird species. They look horrifying in their beastly forms. But in their human forms they can charm anyone into submission. Known for their ethereal voices, they prey on humans. After the Council forbade it, they replaced human flesh with meat of lesser animals. 

The Great Rabbit - The god worshipped by the odihs. Not the most powerful deity. However, when angered, can cause large scale destruction. 

Ti-eglor - The heir to the emperor of the Circle. 

Tysiar - The first vampire born out of chaos. Ended up creating others. Vampires regard him as their god. 

Vampire - Blood-sucking creatures with supernatural powers and enhanced senses. The first few vampires mated with humans. Vampirism later became hereditary and the vampires got the status as a separate species.

Venereal festivals - Festivals celebrating the body and sexual intercourse. Usually beneficial to the participants in various unique ways. All supernatural species have their own festivals. Eg: werewolves -  Moon festival, sirens - Copuliai and warlocks - Season of Neralia.
