Previously on Chapter 18

"Ah... Y/N! My dearest child. I knew you'd come around and choose the right thing" he said. He walks over to me and wraps his arms around me. I tense up at his action. I just let out a short laugh and pat his back awkwardly. I didn't expect any of these gestures from him. So I don't know how to act about it. God... this is so awkward.

I hope I'm not going to regret this...

Y/N P.O.V

Father leads me deeper into the camp. He said that we should hold a party to celebrate me rejoining them. It's the perfect for the plan. Hiccup and the others can come and rescue Toothless while everyone is partying and most likely get drunk.

I just walk alongside my Father as he talk about the plan he have about conquering the Hidden World. He wants to dominate that world and be the king. The whole time he talks about his evil plan on the Hidden World, I feel like I'm going to explode in anger. But I try my best to keep it under control, or I'm going to ended up killing everyone here with my magic. I don't want to ended up being a monster.

"What do you think of my plan, hm?" He asked. He wrap an arm around my shoulder. I turn to look at him and give him a small smile, trying my best to make it look sincere. I have to put up a good act if I want him to trust me.

"I think it sounds amazing, Father... you're going to be the best king" I said. He gives me a wide grin. He turns around and walks towards a man who asked for his guide about something.

I drop my smile as soon as he's out of my sight. A deep frown replaces the smile. I have to stop him. No matter what it takes. There's no way... no absolute way I'm going to let a selfish man like him control the Hidden World. Control my home.

I walk around the camp as everyone is busy partying. A welcoming party... oh please. They just want an excuse to waste themselves with alcohols. Those disgusting and sick bastards.

I stare at them in disgust as they drink the alcohol like hungry pigs. I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn my head to see Father. I quickly replace the look of disgust into a smile.

"Oh Hello, Father..." I said. He smiles and gently pat my head. A gesture I've always longed to have. If it weren't for what I've been through in the past, this would have been an amazing experience. But I'm well aware that he's only kind towards me because he wants to use my magic for his own selfish gains.

"How do you like the party. Awesome, isn't it? We have prepared everything for you" he said. I just nod my head at what he said. He drinks alcohol from his cup and turn to me, offering me the cup. "Want some?" He asked.

"Err... no thank you. I have zero tolerance for alcohol. I don't want ended up being sick..." I said. He just hums at what I said and shrugs his shoulders. He drinks the rest of the content, burping afterwards and chuckles. I try not to gag at his disgusting action.

A While Later

I open my eyes in the middle of the night. Everyone are sound asleep. I slowly move to stand up. I look around the place, trying to find out where they're keeping Toothless. So I can tell the others soon.

After a while of wandering around, I finally find the cage that kept Toothless. I walk towards it and place my hand on the cage bar. "Toothless..." I said. He opens his eyes, letting out a growl. But he stops when he notices it's me. He makes a sound that sounded like a purr.

He walks towards the cage and lick my cheek softly. "It's good to see you too, buddy. Now, let's get you out of here, okay?" I said. He nods his head, making me smile. I tug on the chain, but it wouldn't budge. I click my tongue in annoyance. I place my hand on the chain.

"Bsingr..." I said. My hand lit up in flame and melted the iron of the chain. I remove it from the door. Toothless run towards me, pouncing on top of me as soon as the cage is open. I let out a yelp as I drop on the ground.

"Keep it down, Toothless! Everyone may be asleep and drunk. But we can't risk it!" I said, scolding him sternly. He made a whining sound. I just shake my head and pat his head. I stand up, making my way towards D/N and climbs onto her back and turn to Toothless. "Come on, buddy" I said.

We make our way through the place. Just as we're about to fly, fire lit up throughout the area. I curse under my breath as I realize we've been caught. I turn my head and notices Father stands among them.

"I should have known that you're a traitor. I knew you wouldn't just surrender yourself to us" he said. I get off D/N's back. I shake my head.

"Father... you've got it all wrong! It was all part of my plan. I want to make Hiccup think that I'm a hero by freeing this dragon of his... won't it destroy his mental, knowing that I betray him?" I said. He stares at me for a few seconds and grins widely.

"Wicked... you truly are my child" he said. Toothless growls at me. I turn to look at him for a brief moment before turning to look at Father again. "Sure... we'll go according to your plan" he said.

Time-skip

It's now the next morning. We fly back towards where Hiccup and the others are, while Toothless follows close behind us. I can feel Toothless glaring at me as we fly across the sky.

I land on the ground. "Hiccup! We're back!" I called out. He pops out behind the tree. A look of happiness and relief spread across his face as he let out a sigh. He runs towards me. I stumble a little as he throw his arms around me.

"Thank goodness you're okay..." he said. I smile as I hug him back. He pulls away and run towards Toothless. He wrap his arms around his best-friend's neck. "You too, buddy. I'm glad you're okay" he said. I smile softly at the sight of their reunion.

Hiccup pulls away from Toothless, who instantly starts to growl at me. He walks towards me menacingly. His act makes Hiccup confused. "Toothless... what's the matter with you?" He asked.

In a short time, we are surrounded by Father's men. I just take a couple of steps backward. I hear the sound of a familiar laugh. I turn my head as Father stands next to me.

"You have done well, my dear..." he said, placing a hand on my shoulder. Hiccup stares at me in shock. I can see the look of pain and betrayal in his eyes. The rest of our friends also do the same. I just advert my gaze away from them. Deep in my heart, I feel so guilty for doing this to them. But I know it had to be done.
