Chapter 21 : Weeping Willow
A/N : I'M BACK , the Chapter called Supernatural has 666 reads on my screen, so yeah fun times !
Previously :
A new chemist is in town, the Sheriff has already a weird corpse on his hands. Stiles went to Heaven with the help of a well-known angel to see his dead mother.
Third Person POV :
The room was dark, a woman was sitting on the bed, an old looking cup on her knees. The bowl had runes scared in it, made out of dark wood, it contained a weird looking substance. The woman leaned towards the bowl, whispering in an unknown language.
A car passes by, illuminating the woman's face : Marie Lou
The old witch glared at the body lying down at her feet with disgust, she couldn't even enjoy this death. No one will cry over the victims body, no pain, maybe some unhappy privileged customer will miss her body ? She truly hoped so, at least she'll get something out of this mess.
" You called ?"
Marie Lou turns to see the person that appeared next to her, a dark skinned man, wearing a white suit, his light brow eyes were looking at the corpse.
" I did, we are encountering some problems. " She answered.
" What type of problems ?" he asked, his eyes glowing red
" Heavenly problems. " the witch said in a small voice lowering slightly her head.
" WHAT. " his voiced boomed trough the room.
He stands up, walking back and forth in the tiny space that was the room. The witch left her mouth closed, she knew she shouldn't talk, unless she wants to die a painful death.
" They're coming right ?" the man asked concern in his voice.
The witch simply nods, still not saying a word. The man crouches in front of her, he gently takes her cheeks in his hands. Brushing softly her skin as she closes her eyes.
" I won't call backup yet. But I want you to change your meat suit. Take someone close to the boy, someone who has power over him. This is probably the biggest deal in demonic history, we can't mess this up. "
The woman simply nods, she already had an idea of her next victim.
The man leans on, his lips dangerously close to hers. He lowers his hands to her neck as she placed hers on his shoulders. Marie Lou closes her eyes and waits for him to end it.
A horrible crack echo in the room. Marie Lou's head was facing the wrong way. Her mouth opens widely, black smoke comes out running from her mouth flying through the vents.
The man trows the corpse on the floor, the bowl breaks on the floor, the blood in it splatter on the wall.
" I really didn't like that body anyways " he mutters
The next second, he was gone.
Stile's POV :
I woke up, sweat soaking my sheets. Glaring at the ceiling, I made a summary of this night's events. I meet an angel, wearing a trench coat named Castiel. I saw my dead mother. There's no solution to my problem. I'll have to deal with it.
I close my eyes, wishing hard that this was all just a dream. That when I'll open them back, I'll be Stiles the human again.
I though about all the things that could have been if I wasn't a Dragon, all the people that would have still been alive if I wasn't possessed by Void. All the things that would have never happened if Scott wasn't a werewolf, I thought about a world without supernaturals.
I left out a sight, and sat on my bed, glaring at my claw less hands. I finally decided to get out of bed, my legs were imprisoned in my sheets, I fight back and end up falling off my bed. Morning routine.
I start making my way to the bathroom, when suddenly I trip and fall over gosh knows what.
Something suddenly grabs me by the waits and starts squeezing me, making it's way to my throat like a snake. I look down to see a black scaled snake, it's head shaped into an arrow. The thing didn't have any eyes and was strangling me. I push it back as far as I can for me, I quickly shot up. I 360 to see where it went. But it's always at the limit of my vision, like a black blur.
I ran into the bathroom, pale as hell. I glare at the mirror only to see the black thing in my back. I turn around and try to catch it.
I realize that the scales aren't that black, under light there are various colors that are reflected by it. I also realize that the "snake" was attached to my body.
It was my tail. I was chased by my tail. It started moving in my hands wriggling it's way free, I let it go as it starts to swing violently to my sides.
I can't even control one of MY own limbs, how will I gain control of my whole body ?
I catch my tail again and wrap it around my waist, this time it doesn't squeeze me too death, it just stays there motionless. Like a weird looking belt.
" This is going to be a long, long day" I say glaring at my newly achieved belt.
Lucas's POV :
Seeing everyone felt so good ! I truly though I'd die alone in that prison.
But I couldn't hide myself anymore, I had a choice to do. Flight or fight.
I know what I want to fight. But, which battle will I choose ?
I walk down the hallway searching for one particular room, a room with a white wooden door. I was looking for my sister, I've been craving to see her every day.
And here it was, at the end of the hallway. The familiar white door, I knock four times, pause and knock five times again, to tell her that I'm here.
The door opens, to reveal her very tired looking face. I know she's been practicing a lot lately. Trying to get and early control over her powers.
Her skin irradiated a low light, just like mine. And her deep blue eyes glared at me, a faint smile forming on her lips. She backs up, allowing me to enter.
" Hey Luc "
" Hi Ava, how're you doing firefly ?"
She smiles at the mention of her nickname, she takes me to the center of the room and make me sit on a red tiny chair.
" What are you doing ?" I asked her, as she climbs on her bed.
" I want to show you what I learned, It's Ms. Penelope that learned me !" she said looking down at me.
I look at her curiously, wondering what did Pene learned her again.
She tightly closes her eyes and little fists. A line forms between her eyebrows, due to her concentration.
Slowly the room lights up even more, Ava starts glowing a brilliant yellow. And carefully, two wings starts forming behind her. Both were white and gold, feathery looking. She was just like a little angel. She opens her eyes as they glow a soft gold, she starts flapping her wings rinsing a foot above her bed.
She then starts to descend, her wings disappearing in her back, and her eyes returning to their original light blue.
I was shocked, my eyes were open wide. She starts laughing at my surprised face.
I recomposed myself, only leaving a proud smile.
" That was amazing Ava, how long did it took you to master that ?" I asked
" A month " She responds, her smile not leaving her face.
I was incredibly proud of her, but Pene shouldn't have learned her how to shift at such a young age !
She starts talking about how did she ended up learning, she gave me some tips on how to fly... We had a good time, but it had to be over soon.
I noticed how she did improve when I was "gone", maybe I'm holding her back too much. Maybe she has an amazing potential, and when she'll get sick that potential will all go to waste.
Maybe I should prevent that, maybe I should leave.
Maybe my war is fought somewhere else.
Third Person POV : Somewhere Else
The man was driving his car on the high way. Concentrated on the road, he was singing to an old rock song. The passenger next to him, was furiously typing on his computer, trying to ignore his brother's singing.
" Come'on Sammy, get your eyes out of that computer and enjoy the song ! " the driver said
The passenger, shots a look to his brother. He was searching for information.
" Hey, Dean, look" Sam said turning his computer towards Dean.
" Ugh, freaky death at a motel. That's our kind of title "
" Look at the image, they found a bowl filled with blood. You know what this means "
" Yeah, I know. It's demon hunting season. Where's that ?"
" A town called.. uh... Beacon Hills ?
"Never heard of that. Where is it ? " The driver asked, he lived on the road, he knew all the towns. But he never heard of Beacon Hills before.
" Whoa, there's been a lot of "animal attacks" in Beacon Hills, two mass murders, and the towns people keep hearing howls in the night !"
Dean looks surprised, how come they never heard of Beacon Hills before ? It looked like a town ruled by what he and his brother hunts.
" Tell me where's that at, " he declared
" I have no idea, it's almost as this town doesn't exist" Sam observed
" Take the next right." a voice said from the back.
Dean violently brakes, Sam already had his gun out pointed to the angel behind him. He lowers it at the sight of their old friend.
" Cass what the Hell ?! You can't just appear out of no where when I'm driving ! " Dean shouted
" You asked where was Beacon Hills.I answered " he explained slowly to the human.
" Why would you care anyway ?" Sam wondered
" I need to go there too. " The angel replied
" Why can't you just zap yourself there ?" Dean asked
"I though that experiencing what you call "car trips" would be interesting. I do not want to "zap" myself there. "
"Okay whatever. "
Sam roll his eyes, and tries to focus again on his news articles. Dean starts the car once again, but lowers the volume of his song to Sam's great pleasure.
The Impala smoothly roars as it makes it's way to Beacon Hills.
"Dean, I hope you know I'm from Heaven." Cass distant voice commented
" Yes Cass, I know that."
"Then why do you always summon Hell in my presence ?"
" Because, just whatever. "
The hunters continued on their way to Beacon Hills, with an angel full of question on the backseat.
Stiles's POV :
The thing, well, my tail won't disappear. I tried to focus, take it back. Doesn't work. I tried working on my anchors, still didn't work.
I'm not planning to go to next week's match with a tail around my waist.
I was wearing the biggest sweater I could find, to try to hide this suspect bulge.
I decided I could take a trip to the basement, and search for information in the books on dragons my mom had brought with her.
I went to the kitchen grabbed some cookies, and made my way to the back yard.
In this area of the house, there was a huge weeping willow in the middle of tall grass that was taking half of the yard's place . The leaves were thick enough to create a barrier, so no one could see where was I going.
Hidden with tall grass there was a rusty metal trapdoor in between the tree's roots.
I opened the trapdoor, and didn't bother to use the ladder.
I simply jumped down, in the darkness.
