Blake's POV

The sun came through the windows hitting me on my eyes, they fluttered open to see him on the floor sleeping. (Y/n)... he's so mysterious yet strong but he won't let anyone get close to him. His eyes are beautiful and compassionate, yet they hold a sense of pain behind him, I wonder if I can help him with that pain. What goes on inside that head of yours (Y/n)?

Yang's POV

I've been awake for a little while thinking about everything so far, I love the team I'm with my little sister is the leader, ice queen can be rude but it's just a part of her cold nature. Blake is weird but I think I can get along with her. I don't know what she thinks half the time, but I just have to give it time. Then there's (Y/n), he is just so hot~. Tall, long hair, strong, definitely not bad on the eyes. However, I can tell he's uneasy around us. It makes me wonder what we can do as a team to take down that wall so he can get closer to us.

Weiss' POV

I feel bad for what I said about the Faunus, I mean I understand why he's so upset, and I know not all Faunus' are the same but normally I don't feel bad, yet this is different.. I want to fix things and I want to be around him more I just want to get to know him. I want him to know that I am deeply sorry for what I said and that he knows I'm different from the rest of my family.

Ruby's POV

Hey, what do you think about? What goes on in your head, weapons? Food? Cookies!? (Y/n) is ridiculously strong, but he doesn't seem too fond of being close to anyone. What can I do to change that? As team leader I want everyone on the same page and happy as friends.

I opened my eyes fully to see him close up sleeping peacefully after last night he was shaking so I decided to lay with him, and he calmed down. He looks so peaceful and gentle...

(Y/n)'s eyes fluttered open to look right into silver ones, his heart started beating faster and felt his face heat up. Ruby's face did the same.

Ruby: G-Good morning (Y/n)

(Y/n) was lost for a few seconds then he slowly backed away.

Ruby: Wait.

She grabbed his wrist making him stop where he was going and looked at her.

Ruby: The others aren't awake yet, I want to talk to you at least for a little bit.

She's the team leader so it's not like he couldn't exactly reject so he got a little closer so he could hear Ruby a little better.

Ruby: Okay... I want to know more about you (Y/n), you're a part of the team. This is your team just as much as it is mine or Yang's.

(Y/n) never took his eyes off of hers, unbeknownst he did want to be close with them, however the things that happened in his past make it really hard. He's sure they're all strong they've made it into Beacon after all, he just didn't want to take any chances.

(Y/n): It's not that simple Ruby.

Ruby scooted a little closer to hear him, she never took her eyes off of his either.

(Y/n): Knowing me can come with problems and the last thing I want is to put you all in danger.

This was the first time they had an actual conversation where it was just them and not anyone else trying to but in. She saw the look in his eyes, and it was the same one he's always had, they look so beautiful but deep down there's pain.

Ruby placed a hand on (Y/n)'s cheek.

Ruby: Whatever comes our way we'll face it together, we aren't going to leave you alone (Y/n), you are a part of this team now. It's a family, and we have your back... How about this, after our classes me and you go into town and we hangout? Like what normal friends/teammates would do, I think that could be fun.

(Y/n) nodded then slowly moved her hand off of his face, however a part of him didn't want it to stop.

Ruby: Good now let's get everyone else up, okay?

She went to go wake up her sister while (Y/n) got himself off the ground to wake up Blake. To him Blake was beautiful, her eyes were stunning and not to mention her body, it's definitely attractive and easy on the eyes however, (Y/n) wanted more than just a sexual bond with the someone. He thinks all of team RWBY is beautiful in their own rights Blake just stands out. Then there's Yang she's the blonde bimbo or beauty depending on who is seeing her. Weiss Schnee her little outburst about Faunus may have hurt it was interesting to see some emotion on her other than being cold and stern. Her ice blue eyes shined like diamonds she was beautiful in her own rights also smart it's hard to probably take her on a date because of her "charm." Ruby Rose, the team leader, definitely the youngest of the team, she tries really hard to make sure everyone is okay. She isn't too demanding, and her eyes are unique; Silver eyes are indeed rare but Ruby herself is unique as well.

Blake's beautiful amber eyes met his cold ones to make him slightly blush, but he quickly shook it off telling her to get up and get ready for the day.

The day went normal of beating up Cardin, hearing professor Ports terrible stories from his childhood, trying to understand Oobleck, lunch, getting weird eyes from multiple females, then beating up Cardin again.

Now that all classes are concluded Ruby latched onto (Y/n)'s arm giving him the bright smile that could brighten up any cloudy day.

Ruby: You ready!?

He nodded still nervous by everything and emotional connections with anyone, of course he may seem strong on the outside yet (Y/n) (L/n) is terrified on the inside.

Ruby used her semblance to take him to the courtyard.

Yang: Anddd they're off have fun you two!

-In Vale-

The two spent their time walking, talking, playing video games at a game store, and Ruby's favorite part eating cookies. Ruby smiled so brightly while eating her favorite cookie (Y/n) may not have been smiling a lot, he was observing his leader's actions, but he couldn't fight the fact that her smile was dangerously adorable. Without knowing he smiled seeing her for who she is, not just a cookie monster but a kind-caring soul who deserves nothing but the best.

Ruby noticed this smile and took a picture of him to keep this memory alive.

Walking back to Beacon (Y/n) spoke up.

(Y/n): Thank you for today, Ruby I know it's rare that I show any emotion, but I am grateful for you and your team.

He looked up seeing the sky that was once orange start to turn a pinkish blue color then he stopped.

Ruby: (Y/n)?

(Y/n): Ruby, I need you to make me a promise and it stays between us understand?

Ruby: But I-

(Y/n): Promise me Ruby, please...

Ruby: Alright, Alright I promise.

(Y/n): If I ever lose myself promise you won't stop at nothing to stop me.

Ruby: (Y/n) what're you-

(Y/n): Please Ruby! F-For your and for my sake.

Ruby ran up wrapping her arms around his waist not letting him go.

Ruby: I promise, let's hope it doesn't come to that. You're one of us now, I'll do my best to keep you safe as you are trying to do the same for us.

Her embrace tightened, (Y/n) wanted to hug back every fiber of his being said hug her back but he didn't he simply put a hand on her shoulder nodding at her walking ahead of Ruby.

-Small TimeSkip-

They made it back to Beacon safe and sound (Y/n) was currently in the shower while Ruby was with the rest of her team. Ruby described in full detail of what happened during their hangout aside from the part he asked her not to share. They all have their own feelings about him but the fact that he was able to smile, he might be easing up.

Weiss: What are you doing Yang?

Yang: SHHH just shut tup you're ruining my sight.

Blake: Sight of what?

Yang: Well, if you're interested kitty cat then come take a look.

Blake walked over to the bathroom and as soon as she peaked in her face flared up becoming crimson red.

Blake: O-Oh... I uhm mm

Weiss: What are you dolts staring at that's so intriguing.

Yang: Come take a look~

Weiss stomped over then Ruby dropped down from her bunk going to the bathroom door wanting to feel included.

There he stood with water running down his body, he moved his hair up with his arms making his back appear more muscular and water trickled down.

Weiss: My God...

Blake: He's so-

Yang: Hot, sexy, muscular and I want him to rip my-

Weiss: Ruby is still here!

Yang: Oops I forgot, Sorry Rubes, Rubes?

Ruby's face was redder than anything in the room, her eyes were planted on his body, and she didn't know what to do or say luckily there was a lot of steam in that room so she couldn't see everything he has.

Yang: Uh Ruby?

Ruby: 'S-So that's what a man's body looks like; I wonder what it may feel like.'
