(Normal pov)

Hiccup woke to sunlight in his eyes, he blocked the rays of light out of his face to looked to his side to see the woman he loved with all his heart. Astrid. He smiled at the sight of her, blond hair splayed out over the bedding and the furs hugging her curved body perfectly. He smiled and gently kissed her lips and whispering. "I love you, I'll be back soon." She smiled and continued sleeping.

Hiccup rose from the bed and bathed for the day, washing away the stench of sweat and sex on his toned body.

After bathing he put his armor on, placed Inferno on his hip and called Toothless. The Night Fury appeared in minutes, wagging his tail like a puppy would and gave Hiccup and gummy smile. "Someone's defiantly ready to go flying." Hiccup said amused at how his loyal dragon was jumping in excitement. "Alright Toothless lets go!"

Once they were a few miles away from the Isle of Night, the two glided over the water, the wind and sea breeze caressing their faces. They then shot up to higher altitudes.

Once they were hundreds and hundreds of feet in the air, just above the cloud bank. It had been a long time since they could just fly together, and Hiccup wasn't wasting the chance to test out his newest invention. A glide suit.

It was for emergencies, in case he was ever knocked from Toothless mid-flight and they couldn't get back to each other. Toothless would be fine, being able to control the tale fin enough to glide to safety, but Hiccup wouldn't, he had nothing to help slow down a fall. Until now.

"Okay, you ready Bud?" Hiccup asks. "Lets test the wind first with a free fall."

Hiccup locks the tail fin in place and removes his metal leg from the pedal. Toothless warbles in excitement, they both loved free falls. Hiccup unlatched the safety device and slid to the side off Toothless. He immediately began to plummet.

"Whoooooa Yeah!" Hiccup yelled in exhilaration, this was what he lived for.

Hiccup fell a good hundred feet through the clouds, breaking through the bottom. He continued to fall another two hundred feet, Toothless not far behind him. The water below was fast approaching and Hiccup signaled for Toothless to come closer so they could fly back up. Hiccup attached himself back to Toothless only 50 feet from the water.

"Oh wow! That was, amazing!" Hiccup cheered, lifting up his mask. "It's the perfect weather for the test. The wind has a strong updraft and it's calm below."

Toothless flew them back up through the clouds. While he wasn't sure about the suit his friend had made, it was a good idea, he didn't want anything happening to his friend if they got separated. He could take a fall from a few hundred feet, his human rider? Not so much.

Once they broke through the top of the cloud bank Hiccup readied himself for another fall. He redid the lock on the tail fin and pulled his mask back on. Unhooking himself from the saddle, Hiccup was giddy with adrenaline coursing through his veins.

"Okay, I'll pull just as we leave the clouds Toothless. All right, glide suit: Test 1." Hiccup said, sliding off Toothless' back once again.

He waited a few moments, enjoying the fall. Toothless fell right beside him and when he looked at his best friend, he was given a gummy smile. Just as he broke through the clouds, he gave the dragon a thumbs up. He reached down to his legs where he slipped his wrists into loops on his calfs before strongly yanking up and straightening his legs. Web-like wings appeared, connected to his body from his wrists to his ankles.

His entire body jerked as the wings caught the wind and slowed him down significantly. Toothless shot past him for a moment before the dragon opened his wings to do the same. Soon they were right beside each other again.

"It's working!" Hiccup called out as his flight path wobbled a bit.

He slapped a crank on his chest and another fin popped out of his back to help steady him. His wobbliness stopped as the fin did it's job. Toothless gave out a loud roar in excitement, his friend's invention worked!

"Now we just gotta figure out a way for me to slow down so I can land!" Hiccup yelled as he saw the water approaching, not as fast as before, but still quite quickly.

Hiccup looked around for maybe a piece of land for him to land on, and he spotted one a ways away. Though he wouldn't need more air time to get to it. He didn't know how he could get that, if he flew straight there from where he was, he would smack into the cliff. Hiccup flipped onto his back and looked back at Toothless, who had glided behind him so he could fly under him incase he needed a quick save and an idea popped into his head.

"Hey Toothless!" Hiccup yelled, getting the dragon's attention. "Shoot a blast right under me!"

Toothless gave him an odd look and tilted his head to the side in question.

"The explosion will give me more lift!" Hiccup yelled exasperatedly, pointing to the cliffs he wanted to land on. "We gotta make it above that cliff over there!"

Toothless didn't question the man, even if he thought it was dangerous, and shot a blast a few yards under him. Hiccup's wings caught the blast and it drove him a good ten feet in the air. Toothless was surprised it worked and shot a few more. Hiccup got a good 50 feet lift and smoothly glided towards the opening in the trees. Only, he wasn't slowing down.

"Uh, Bud!" Hiccup yelled. "A little help here! I'm not slowing down!"

Toothless gave a distressed wail before he tried to gain a some speed to catch his friend. The ground was approaching quickly, and he only just made it before Hiccup hit it. He wrapped his wings around his friend and curled his tail around his body and they hit the ground and slide a good twenty feet.

Once they stopped, Toothless carefully uncurled himself from around his friend and cooed at him, trying to see if he was okay. Hiccup groaned at the rough landing, but sat up nonetheless. Toothless gave a happy chirp as he let Hiccup stand up.

"Oh my Gods." Hiccup said a bit shaky. "That, was... AMAZING!"

Hiccup turned around, taking his helmet off, revealing a huge smile on his face. He was bounding with excitement and adrenaline. He quickly stuffed the wings back into their slits.

"The landing was a bit shaking, but that was so awesome Bud!" Hiccup said, throwing his hands in the air.

Toothless sighed in relief that his friend was okay, but then grumbled in annoyance. He flicked his tail out and whacked Toothless in the head.

"Ow! Toothless!" Hiccup whined as he rubbed the back of his head, but Toothless just glared at him. "Sorry." Toothless grumbled but relieved his friend was alive.

Suddenly the two heard shouting from a distance, they make their way toward the voices and Hiccup is shocked to find the Outcast and Berserker fleet anchored on the island they're currently on and the Red Death in tow. Hiccup pulls out his telescope to see Alvin, Savage and the other high ranking Outcasts talking with Dagur, Cutthroat and Enobaria. Then another figure approached, draped in a black hood, Hiccup couldn't make out this persons face, since the figures hood blocked any facial views.

But the figure was definitely a male, and he was just standing there listening to the leaders conversation.

(Hiccups pov)

I had to find a way to send reinforcements, I pulled out my parchments out of a bag on Toothless's saddle and wrote a distress call, I placed back in the bag and looked at Toothless. "Hey bud, I need you to get the rest of the dragon riders to get over here and end this once and for all alright?" Toothless warbled in concern, I gave him a reassuring smile and rested my forehead against his. "I'll be fine bud, but I need you to get back up, I'm counting on you." Toothless nodded and shot toward the heavens.

Alright, now I need to do some recon, but remain hidden, I won't be able to take on two armies worth of vicious Vikings. I jumped from branch to branch without making a sound and landed close to the enemy leaders.

"We need to strike now!"

"They have an island full of warriors and Night Furies backing them up. Even with the Red Death, I'm not liking our odds. We need to do this smart."

"Easy for you to say Alvin! Me and Dagur had our asses handed over! Can you and your Outcasts be any more useless?!"

"Enough!"

I looked to see the owner of the voice was the cloaked man. Whoever he is, he was no Viking, in fact, his appearance told that he was a foreigner. Who was this guy? "I did not travel all this way to hear you all bicker like children. Either you eliminate this Dragon Master or me and my men will." The foreigner left the group and headed toward the ships.

I pulled my telescope out to see him mounting a...dragon? What?! This foreigner is a dragon rider? The dragon this foreigner rode was...one I never laid eyes on, but the foreigner and his dragon flew off. It seems this foreigner is somehow behind this. Perhaps the Berserkers are using the Outcasts? Possibly.

I look at the Berserker trio, once they separate themselves from the Outcasts they talk once more.

"What do you think?"

"I think we'll be giving away our freedom if we join his cause! How did you find these people Cutthroat?!"

"Stop worrying cousin. This man is worth joining, besides he's got warriors and many resources to help continue our war against the Dragon Master."

Who is this "he" they're referring to? Some many questions but no answers, not yet any way. I need find out who else the Berserkers are aligned with.

"I don't take orders from anyone Cutthroat. You may wish to join this man, but I sure as hell don't, I'd be giving away my power, freedom and people to this...man."

"Dagur, you're my family. You'd be honored to serve him, he has a vast arsenal of some rare dragons."

Dagur's eyes lit up, he raised an eyebrow in curiosity.

"How rare?"

Cutthroat smirked and wrapped an arm around Dagur.

"He's got a Skrill."

Dagur began giggling and then looked back at his cousin.

"As long as I get that Skrill, I'm in."

A Skrill?!! Not good at all. They're extremely rare, the Skrill is aggressive, powerful, and nearly untrainable. It appears to be almost as feared as the Night Fury, if not more feared, this could perhaps be due to the Berserkers who used to harness the Skrill and use it as a weapon.

If the Berserkers use a Skrill for their war mongering conquest that's bad, this needs to end right now.

"SIR!! DRAGON RIDERS!! AND HEAVILY ARMED SHIPS FLYING THE BERK COLORS!!"

Ah, perfect timing, I smile as I see a whole pack of my dragon riders and the Hooligan fleet. Hell yeah! Alright now it's my turn to thin the heard so we can even the playing field. I see explosive barrels everywhere, near their ships, on their ships and near their tents. I see a Berserker archer taking a piss, I air drop on top of him and he goes unconscious.

I grab his arrows and take out my shield. I then nock by first making the arrow on fire, I  activate the crossbow mode and take aim, I spot the closest barrel near Dagur, Cutthroat and Enobaria so I let the arrow loose and...

BOOM!!

The three get knocked back by the explosive force, I smile and keep shooting. Men, supplies and ships getting ripped apart or by these barrels, once their fleet of ships has been cut down, along with man power, I give a dragon call and within minutes Toothless lands and nuzzled into me. "Hey bud! Told you I'd be fine." Toothless licked my cheek and I smiled.

I then climb on his back and pat his head. "Let's go bud!" Toothless nods and we fly around the enemy camp and rain down fire from above. Screams fill the air as men get burned to an unrecognizable crisp, blown to bits or losing something valuable to them.

By now the dragon riders have have begun their attack from the air while Stoick and the Hooligans engage Alvin's and Dagur's fleet. This ends now.

I see the Berserker trio on their command ship yelling orders to bring up the Red Death. And within the seconds the mad tyrant of a queen emerges from the water and lets loose a mighty roar. She then turns toward us and you tell that pure rage is written across her face.

While my forces take the enemy on, Toothless and I while either remove the Red Death from the picture of kill her. But either way. This madness will end right here and right now.
