*Flashback*

"Good,I lost him",I said while resting my hands on my knees.

I was about to start my way back home until I heard a roar.

"Can I ever catch a break?",I muttered to myself.

"Please just leave me alone"I said while backing up.I wasn't prepared to fight yet.

"For the Glory of Merlin,daylight is mine to command",I heard someone say.

I turned to see Jim standing in a suit of armor.

My eyes widen."Leave her alone Bular",he said.

"Trollhunter,give me your amulet and I shall spear her",Bular said

"Not going to happen",Jim said as he charged at Bular.His sword was glowing bright blue as their swords clashed together.

*End of Flashback*

I gasped and dropped him as he rubbed his throat.

He was kneeling down on the ground as I looked at Hannah.She too had disbelief in her eyes.

"Jim?",I asked.

He's the one that saved me that night!Everything is clear to me now.I knew that I was being chased but I didn't know who saved me.

He looked up and gave me a serious glare."Why did you not finish me off",he asked.

I stayed silent."How do you know my name?"

"I-I um",is all I could say.Should I tell him that I'm the Dragon Hunter?

I looked around the arena,seeing angry trolls.Even Winter and Vendel seemed angry.

"I can't kill him",I announced.

"I'm not going to kill him.Im not going to follow the rules and kill one of my friends",I said.

Everyone gasped,including BurningFlame,Star,and Flappper.

"You must Finish him off",Winter said.

"No",I said.

Winter growled.

I looked back to see Jim starting to stand up again.

"I'm sorry",I said.

"You are not my friend",he said.

He sighed and started to calm down."Thank you for not killing me",he said.

I smiled."No problem."

Hannah flew out to me and grabbed my wing.

"We have to go.Were almost out of time",Hannah said.

I sighed."I'm sorry",I said to Vendel before running out of the arena with Hannah.

We found the library and sneaked inside.

We both turned back to humans."I can not believe that Jim is the Trollhunter",I said with my hands on my helmet.

"Me either.I guess that is why he always disappeared",she said.

"Hannah you don't understand!He saved me before I died from the troll that night.He's the one who saved me!",I said.

"Your kidding",she said.

"No!When I was about to kill him,his helmet fell off and that's when I saw his face.When I saw him,I had a flashback to the night when he saved me.I saw him Hannah,In the same suit of armor,battling that troll",I said.

"I can't believe I almost killed the person who kept me from dying in the first place",I said.

"Me neither.I mean...he saved you.He risked his life to save you and then all of a sudden,you almost killed him",she said.

"How was I suppose to know that he was the Trollhunter!This is a lot to take in",I said.

"I understand but we need to figure out how to leave this place first",she said.

"How are we going to leave here without someone seeing us.I don't have the robes",I said.

"I don't know.We didn't plan on letting the battle last for more than an hour",She said.

"This is a disaster",I said.

I sat on the stone table as Hannah sat down beside of me.

I took off my helmet and sat it down beside of me.

I heard footsteps but I didn't move until my name was called.

"(Y/N)?"

I looked up and locked eyes with Jim.

Hannah and I gasped and looked at him.His eyes widened when he saw me.

There,I was standing.In full armor and my sword on my back,holding my helmet at my side.

"It's not what it looks like",I said.

I threw my helmet to the other side of the room."Nothing to see here",Hannah said as she stepped in front of me.

"So your the Dragon Hunter?",He asked.

"Ok,I guess it is what it looks like",I
said.

I gently pushed Hannah to the side."This is getting weird.Lets go",I said quietly after seeing the dragons out side of the Library.

"So it was really nice seeing you...um but we better go"Hannah said as we dashed out the exit way.

We ran through TrollMarket.Hannah looked down at her wrist and said,"Hover Board on!"

I watched as the bracelet unfolded into her Hover Board.She hopped on it as I used my wings to fly up the stairs.

Hannah flowed me until we saw the dragons open the exit.

"Winter,Wait!",I yelled.

She turned around,only to give me a hateful glare.

"You completely disobeyed Vendel and I again.You are a disgrace to Dragon Kind and you are no longer part of Diamond City",she said.

Hannah and I gasped."Wait what?"

"You may be our protector,but to us...you are our enemy",she said.

I scoffed."This isn't happening.Im the dragon Hunter",I said.

"Not to us",she said.

BurningFlame followed Winter out the exit,leaving Flappper and Star.

"I-I'm sorry.I never meant for this to happen",I said as tears began to build up in my eyes.

"I'm sorry but you are no longer allowed to step foot on Diamond City.Your banished now",Star said.

"Are we going to lose you guys",Hannah asked,also having tears build up.

"Goodbye girls.Im sorry this has happened",Flappper said while giving us a great big,crushing hug.Most likely our last.

"I can't believe this is happening",I said with a sob.

"If you guys would just let me explain!Please!",I said.

"There is no explaining for what you have done",Star said while flying off with the Winter,Flappper,and BurningFlame.

That's when I had it.I broke down,crying my eyes out.I sat on the ground looking up at the bridge.

"Why?Why did this have to happen to me!Why did this stupid amulet choose me if all I do is mess things up",I yelled as I grabbed my amulet.

I took one last look at it before throwing it down the canal.

Hannah walked over to me and laid a hand on my shoulder."You did the right thing,no matter what they say",Hannah said,her voice cracking from crying.

I pushed her hand off my shoulder and stood up.

"(Y/N)?"

I used the sleeve on my sweatshirt to wipe the tears away."No.Im done!Im done living a double life.Im done being the dragon Hunter.Im done having the responsibility for all Dragon kind",I said.

"No your not!You are still the Dragon Hunter and you will always be that.You did nothing wrong!",she said.

"But I did!",I said turning back to her.Everything I do for them is wrong Hannah.Nothing I do is right so shut up!",I said as tears began to spill from my eyes again.

Hannah shook her head."I know your mad but-"

"Mad?Im not mad,I'm furious",I said.

"You need to calm down",she said.

"Can you ever just leave me alone?",I asked.

Her eyes widen but she quickly regained herself."Fine,if that's how you want it",she said.

She jumped on her Hover Board and flew off to her house.

I sighed.Now my best friend hates me.Does everyone hates me because it seems like it?

Because of my decision,Dragons and Trolls won't live in peace.

That battle was suppose to make peace between both worlds but it didn't.Instead,I found out who the Trollhunter is and didn't kill him!

I couldn't kill Jim.He is my friend and I can't kill my friends.If only Winter would let me explain everything,she would understand what happened.I wouldn't be banned from Diamond City.

Diamond City was like a second home to me.It was were I could get away from reality and just have fun.It was peaceful and everyone was happy.

I shook my head.I just lost my best friend.I wish that I never became the Dragon Hunter!Life would be so much easier.I would have good grades,be on time to the play,and help dad around the house!

When I became the Dragon Hunter,there were many responsibilities that came a long with it.I was stupid to agree to the position.

I walked away, leaving my amulet in the Canal.I don't care what happened to it.All I do is hurt people.

I knocked on Mr.Strickler's door.

"Come in",He said.

I hesitantly walked inside.

"Oh hello Mistress D,how may I help you?",he asked.

"How does your friend feel about tomorrow.I cleared my schedule up from my other plans",I asked.

"I'm sure he would be grateful.What made you clear you Schedule?"

"I just didn't want to do it anymore but I'll be glad to help your friend",I said.

"Indeed",Mr.Strickler said.

"Same place?"

"Same place",He said.

I smiled."See you then."

So in the last chapter,I left it at a cliffhanger but I didn't think it would bother you guys that much.Well...turns out,you guys hate cliffhangers but too bad because there will be more!😁😁
